Chapter 758: Chapter 758: The Conflict Between The Two People

At that moment, Zhang Dongxu was overwhelmed with guilt, if not for him, Xiang Yu would not have gone to City Number Five, and now with their phones shut off and their fate unknown, all three of them were anxious.

Since Wang Ze wanted to find Xiang Yu, Zhang Dongxu was also the first to stand up and express his willingness to go together.

Although he was injured, he was after all very familiar with City Number Five. With him around, many things would be much more convenient.

"You? No need, you’d better stay here and heal up," said Wang Ze with an icy tone.

He had never liked Zhang Dongxu, and now, because of him, Xiang Yu was missing, which made him very angry. So much so, that he directed all his rage towards Zhang Dongxu.

"I’ve wronged Brother Yu, but you all know his character too. If I didn’t tell him, he would never let it go. What should I do? I can’t go against his wishes, he’s my elder brother, I have to listen to him," Zhang Dongxu said, feeling very wronged by Wang Ze’s attitude, thus he shouted out loud.

"Brother Yu went to City Number Five, why didn’t you tell us?" Wang Ze also got angry, then he turned around and yelled at Zhang Dongxu.

"The reason Brother Yu didn’t tell you is because he was afraid of worrying you. If I had told you, wouldn’t that be a waste of Brother Yu’s feelings?" Zhang Dongxu said reluctantly.

"Without you, Brother Yu wouldn’t have taken the risk. You’re famously bad luck, you’re just harming Brother Yu," Wang Ze became a bit irrational, his mind consumed by thoughts of Xiang Yu, to the point of becoming confused.

"What did you say?" Zhang Dongxu hated being called bad luck the most, then he forced himself to stand up, grabbing Wang Ze’s collar. The two stared each other down, eye to eye.

The nurse behind them was so scared that she turned pale and dared not utter a word.

Seeing the two about to come to blows, Wu Jing quickly stepped forward and pushed them apart with a hand each. Zhang Dongxu then directly sat down in the wheelchair.

"Everyone calm down, the problem hasn’t been sorted out yet, and you two are causing a scene here, enough is enough," Wu Jing shouted.

Normally Wu Jing rarely lost his temper, but when he did, it was quite frightening. Wang Ze clenched his teeth, then turned and sat down on the sofa.

Seeing the two had cooled down a bit, Wu Jing said, "We’ve confirmed that Brother Yu has gone to City Number Five. Given Brother Yu’s skills, along with Tie Zhuzi and Little Xuan by his side, they should be fine. You may not fully understand the capabilities of those three, it’s virtually impossible for ordinary people to stop them."

"The key point is that the people from Wolf Eye are not ordinary, I’ve been inside, Wolf Eye is full of talented individuals, their strength is not inferior to ours," Zhang Dongxu said, frowning.

By then, Wang Ze had also started to calm down, quietly listening to Wu Jing’s analysis.

"Although they do have skilled people amongst them, Brother Yu’s group did not go there to openly confront them, they just snuck in to retrieve something and planned to leave right after. So, Brother Yu and the others should be safe. City Number Five is a distance from here, and it takes time to travel, so let’s not panic and keep waiting here a little longer."

Wu Jing himself was becoming a little unsettled, but after his analysis and estimation of the time, he realized that it was still within the normal timeframe for Xiang Yu to not have arrived.

After listening to Wu Jing’s analysis, Wang Ze completely calmed down. His earlier irrationality had nearly led him to make a mistake; if he had gone to City Number Five impulsively, it was likely he would not only fail to see Xiang Yu but also risk his own safety.

"Sorry, I wasn’t rational just now," Wang Ze said, glancing at Zhang Dongxu then bowing his head slightly.

After all, they were all tough guys, and for one to apologize like this was not easy.

Zhang Dongxu hurriedly replied, "I can understand your feelings."

Wang Ze and Zhang Dongxu looked at each other and smiled, forgiving one another.

Wu Jing checked his watch, and it was already two o’clock in the afternoon. He estimated and said, "I guess in about two more hours, Brother Yu and the rest will be back."

Wang Ze and the others quickly nodded in agreement, Wu Jing’s words were usually reliable.

But just as Wu Jing finished speaking, the sound of a car braking suddenly came from outside. All three of them heard it but knew it couldn’t be Xiang Yu, so they paid it no mind.

"I’m back, haha..."

At that moment, a loud shout came from outside. Wang Ze and the others looked at one another, then hurried to the window to look down.

They saw three people standing beside a bright white off-road vehicle, looking very excited.

"Didn’t you say they needed two more hours?" Seeing that it was indeed Xiang Yu and the others, Wang Ze laughed and looked at Wu Jing before running downstairs. He had been really worried all day.

Zhang Dongxu also glanced at Wu Jing with excitement and said, "Coach, even you can miscalculate." After speaking, he sat down in his wheelchair.

"That’s impossible, they’re too fast." Wu Jing expressed his doubt, but since Xiang Yu was back, the process of their return didn’t matter.

Before Wang Ze could even speak to Xiang Yu upon reaching the ground floor, Tie Zhuzi pulled him aside and began boasting. Tie Zhuzi had been holding back a bellyful of words with nowhere to unleash them.

"You have no idea how dangerous it was. A rocket was fired straight at us. I thought we were done for. If the rocket hit the car, all three of us would have gone to meet the Buddha. Guess what happened?" Tie Zhuzi looked at Wang Ze with great excitement.

Wang Ze knew the journey must have been dangerous, but he also knew Tie Zhuzi was surely exaggerating.

Seeing that Wang Ze didn’t respond, Tie Zhuzi continued, "I grabbed this big thing and hurled it at the grenade. My throw changed its direction, and it exploded beside the car instead. It was so loud, almost deafened me."

Wang Ze knew Tie Zhuzi was blowing his own trumpet and managed a forced smile, intending to talk to Xiang Yu, but Tie Zhuzi, still not done, pulled him back.

"I haven’t finished yet, just listen to me slowly..."

Seeing Tie Zhuzi bragging, Xiang Yu and Xiao Xuan just exchanged smiles and then walked upstairs. When they arrived, Xiang Yu’s expression changed upon seeing Zhang Dongxu, "Did that kid tell them I went to City Number Five?"

Zhang Dongxu quickly shook his head, "No, no, I just came here for a stroll."

Wu Jing cooperated well, looking at Xiang Yu with feigned surprise, "You went to City Number Five? When did that happen?"

Wu Jing just didn’t want Xiang Yu to know about their worries. They all wanted the best for each other, and although Xiang Yu knew this, he understood.

Xiang Yu sat down and retold the whole incident.

Wu Jing didn’t inquire further about weapons because, in his view, since Xiang Yu and his group had returned early, they probably hadn’t gotten the ammunition they needed...

PS: Thanks to that friend for the reward. I’m somewhat anxious, fearing I might not write well enough.
