Chapter Ch120 - Seeking Death As Usual

The next day, the two of them prepared to pack up and move out.
Many people on the competition planet were packing up their things, and the second-hand market was crowded and noisy. Some stores were offering final sales in order to take advantage of the current activity.
Many players hadn’t had time to go shopping until now, causing some media reporters to stalk the streets and lanes, trying to find some tidbits of news and create one last wave of enthusiasm for the provincial competition.
And, they really were able to find something.
This year’s provincial competition’s most important person, the individual competition’s champion, Odin, had taken his fiance out to play, and they were even wearing couples T-shirts!
Back when the provincial competition had begun, Odin had already been a favorite of the media. As long as there was a photo of him, the news would definitely not go unnoticed. There was really nothing easier than this, and now that he’d won the championship and even proposed on the same night, half of the trending topics were still about him even though the provincial competition was over.
The reporters were really excited; they shivered in excitement and followed behind them carefully.
At first, the reporters were as honest as rabbits. They didn’t dare try and catch up or even hold up their cameras, and they didn’t dare to directly sneak in some photos––the main reason for that was because Odin was too famous. It was said that he could notice a camera from exactly 200 meters away and send his killing aura through the air, scaring the photographers silly!
However, this time, the reporters followed them for two blocks and saw that Odin was being led around by Victor. They realized that he wasn’t giving out any killing aura after being photographed and was merely giving them indifferent glances.
Later, when Victor was having too much fun and pulled on his sleeve to get his attention, Odin simply stopped turning back at all and didn’t care about what the reporters did behind them.
The reporters were overjoyed: What did this mean? It meant that the ban was lifted! This meant that the great demon king had acquiesced to them shooting and discussing the topic openly! This meant that Victor was indeed the queen in his palace, and not only had the great demon king proposed to the queen, but he’d also confirmed his throne!
Reporters: So excited that they were breathing fire through their nose.gif

The two of them walked through the crowd and ignored how many fans were able to see through their disguises. If someone was bold enough to come forward and try to talk, Odin would use his iceberg killing aura to send them off.
After a while, the crowd became even more bustling, and the temperature was rising. The two of them removed their coats and displayed the two bright lines of text on their T-shirts: ‘I’m Little Vic’s’, and ‘I am Little Vic’.
Tyron casually draped both coats over his arms, and with these words on his body, his iceberg War God aura suddenly became miraculously cute!
Victor dragged him into small shops along the pedestrian street, stopping excitedly in front of a sugar painting shop. He insisted on crouching down in front of the stall to watch the shop owner draw…
The master assassin would normally never do such an obvious (shameful) thing, but in fact, he was much more curious than Victor––
This sugar painting wasn’t ordinary sugar painting. The shop owner used a special brush to spit out melted sugar molecules, and as soon as the sugar came out of the brush, it would soon solidify and become an amber-colored 3D skeleton. Then, when more sugar of different colors was layered onto the skeleton, it became a 3D painting.
The shopkeeper’s hands flew, and it was as though he was painting a rainbow in the sky with the brush.
This kind of technology was unique to the interstellar era. The old antique had never seen it before, so when Victor pulled him down, he initially showed a look of disgust but still crouched down at the stall to watch for a while.
After a while, the shopkeeper finished painting a ‘Snowy Mountain at Sunrise’ and carefully brought over the entire platter of art to the previous guest.
Victor took out some money and said, “Great one! Do you paint figures, great one?”
Tyron knew what his intention was, and so, he casually pulled down his scarf.
The shopkeeper’s eyes stopped on Tyron’s face. His nose flared, and his eyes lit up. He was dazed for a while before saying, “I… I might not be able to draw it very alike… eighty or ninety percent, maybe.”
He paused for a moment, then snuck another peek, and changed his words, “Fifty or sixty percent.”
Victor smiled, “It doesn’t have to be very similar. I just have one request––ugly!”
Shopkeeper: “……”
Victor placed two large bills on the table and smiled, “Would you please make sugar paintings of the two of us? As ugly as you can make them. Give us a chance to make fun of each other.”
Tyron also felt that this child was really able to play around, and he pressed his lips together to hold back his smile.
A few minutes later, the shopkeeper first finished Tyron’s little sugar man. He’d really scratched his head and tried to use his imagination, making the sugar man’s face as big as a basin, setting his facial features askew, and giving him uneven-sized eyes. A pair of short hands were casually inserted into a bucket-like waist, and his figure looked like a round teapot with a fat stomach.
Victor acted like he’d found a treasure as he picked it up carefully, looking at it with loving eyes, “Male god! You’re so beautiful! You’re always the most attractive person in my eyes, kiss kiss!”
Tyron: “……”
A while later, Victor’s little sugar man was also done. This time, his head was triangular, his ears crooked on his head, and his facial features squished together. His feet were spread apart like a compass, and he had bulging goldfish eyes.
Tyron picked it up, looked at it silently for a while, then said to the shopkeeper, “You treated us differently.”
The shopkeeper trembled.
Tyron continued, “Why is he still so cute?”
Victor covered his face and snickered.
The shopkeeper: “……” Damn it. I have to get fed dog food while doing business. Can I just admit that I lose?
The angry single-dog shopkeeper raised his hand and broke the nose off of Victor’s face. Taking advantage of how it hadn’t dried fully, he stuck it on top of Tyron’s nose and said coldly, “Is it ugly enough now?”
Victor: “……”
A moment later, the husband and husband pair walked away with one little sugar man without a nose and one little sugar man with a nose as big as an egg.
As they were walking, the super big nose that was actually two in one slipped down in disgrace, sliding all the way down from the Tyron sugar man’s face to stop at the crotch before getting stuck again.
Oh, that visual effect was too dirty.
So dirty that they couldn’t look on.
Victor’s face was red as he hurriedly took it off while nobody was watching. He thought about how there was nowhere to put the sugar, so he placed it in his mouth.
He tasted it and felt that it was very sweet. His tongue swept around the smooth surface, and based on the shape of his mouth, it was clear that he was sucking on the candy with great relish.
Tyron, who was watching the entire process, couldn’t quite stand it. His face heated slightly, and he coughed; his Adam’s apple bobbed, and then, he turned his eyes away as though nothing had happened.
Seconds later, Victor realized what he’d done and almost steamed himself from the inside out.
Tyron was holding his hand, and he could feel an amazing level of heat, so he led him to an ice cream shop and sat at the door to cool down.
A while later, the two of them sat in front of the big glass window to eat ice cream, and the clerk was very understanding as he placed the ice cream on top of the little sugar men. It was very sweet when eaten together.
The shop opposite them was a a fan merchandise shop for same-sex couples, and there were two life-sized models placed in the prime position behind the glass.
Victor felt that they were increasingly familiar the more he looked at them, and his eyes remained fixed on the models for a long time.
The two models were both of adult men. One was sitting in a luxurious seat with gorgeous short, blonde hair and a haughty, joking smile on his handsome face. He wore a splendid gold and red suit, and his legs were cocked up irreverently, his hand tugging at his collar. He was like a lion who’d been fed full. The other was dressed in black and white like a deacon, his head lowered in a low-key way, his eyebrows and eyes drawn together as he allowed the other party to pull him over. However, the body beneath the simple clothing contained a dangerous power being kept back at a hair’s breadth as though ready to devour the seated master fiercely at any moment.
Victor’s young boy’s heart burst out as he looked at them, and he reached out his index finger to poke at Tyron beside him, saying, “It’s really familiar! I must have seen these fellows before, but I can’t remember where from right now.”
The old antique, who didn’t pay attention to these things and the circle associated with them, was even less likely to know who these two were. He raised his head when poked, then went back to eating his ice cream after having taken a look.
After a while, the clerk from that shop across from them came over and placed two huge price tags in front of the two models. Then, he turned around and added the name tags on the way back.
Victor’s eyes opened wide when he saw the two names:
Song of Triumph.
Deep Silence.
The old antique had a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth that he forgot to eat. It took him a full two seconds to recover.
Victor clapped his hands, “I remember now! That’s right, this is that CP. A big author wrote a story about mistreatment and extortion in the forums, and it left me sleepless for two nights!”
Old antique: “…….”
The interstellar people really knew how to play around. He couldn’t adapt.
How was he supposed to face those two old fellows calmly in the future???
Victor didn’t realize that his old antique’s world views were being strongly impacted by this culture of cuteness and corruption. When they went back home that night, he happily dug out the same work and continued to read it.
Seeing that ‘Deep Silence’ could no longer bear his master, ‘Song of Triumph’s fickle love and had locked his master in the cellar with a pair of shackles… Victor was so excited that he couldn’t restrain himself. He let out an uncontrollable “Oohhhh––” from the bottom of his throat!
How cute, how cute, Victor rolled around the bed a few times, then picked up the tablet to share it with the old antique.
Tyron frowned and was unable to understand the plot’s origin. He reluctantly flipped through a few pages and saw a scene that Victor hadn’t seen yet: Red wine play.
Tyron: “……”
Victor asked excitedly, “How is it, how is it, isn’t it good?”
Tyron bowed his head, flipped through another two pages, actually coming across a ‘training’ scene, and then looked back up at Victor.
Victor was still talking, “Let me tell you, fanfiction is also really fun to read, and there’s many things that can be learned from them. Let’s not be prejudiced against them, alright?”
Tyron continued to read on silently, quickly flipping through over ten pages and looking at countless words as they flew by. Finally, the proud master had been bullied to the point where he was crying for mercy––the sinister servant had prepared an entire wall of props in the wine cellar.
The door to a whole new world opened up in front of the old antique.
Mister Victor, who was searching for death, was still confused. He waved his hand, “Why aren’t you talking?”
