Julian severed the Thunderbird’s head in one slash, making the strongest and the most high-leveled of the 3 Qi Beasts his first victim!

For a brief moment, silence like a still lake descended in this training chamber.

Standing outside the combat area of the training chamber, Elena stared with wide eyes. While levitating above the combat area of the training chamber, the Giant Roc and Pyreton stared with looks of disbelief in their eyes.

Alarmed, they stared at the Demon that suddenly appeared with looks of confusion on their faces, alternating their gaze between the dead Thunderbird and the Demon, then...

The corpse of the Thunderbird finally collapsed to the ground.

Julian immediately moved.

But this time, alarmed and alert, the Roc and the Pyreton were not caught off-guard as the effects of Psychological Invisibility already wore off.

The Giant Roc reacted first.

The Giant Roc unleashed a high-speed shriek that created a sonic boom, causing AOE damage that affected everything in the vicinity.

But when the Demon appeared from Blink, he wasn’t close to them.

Julian didn’t Blink to close the distance to any of the 2 Qi Beasts, he Blinked to move away from them.

Knowing the style of the Giant Roc, Julian predicted its next move after seeing how pathetically the Thunderbird died, this was why instead of blinking forward he blinked to the very edge of the training chamber.

There, he was out of the range of the sonic attack, but unfortunately the Pyreton did not enjoy the same privilege.

Pyretons have a stacked defensive set with a skin that is impervious to pure qi attacks like Aether Bolts and is extremely resistant to all forms of kinetic attacks, but they didn’t have any toolset of skills to defend against sonic attacks.

The Giant Roc’s sonic attack hit the Pyreton heavily as it jerked in mid-air even as blood flowed from its nose.

It was stunned.

Julian already accounted for this possible event, this was why he reacted immediately after it happened.

Aether Bolts! ×1000!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

This attack was not targeted at the stunned Pyreton though, it was directed at the Giant Roc to distract it.

Amid the bombardment of concussive qi blasts forcing the Giant Roc to react to defend and dodge, Julian planted his feet firmly on the ground and opened his mouth wide, aiming at the still-stunned Pyreton in the air.

’Thanks for the assist,’ he thought with a crazy grin, then...

Hellfire!

Dragon Breath- Fire lance!

Thick tongues of concentrated flames blasted out of his mouth in a lance shape, mixing with the infernal Hellfire that erupted from his body.

The extreme-temperature fire lance shot towards the Pyreton that was still incapacitated in mid-air.

Dragon Breath contained properties of both qi and natural fire scaled to extreme temperatures, it could not be classified as a full qi attack which meant the Pyreton’s skin was not impervious to it.

Besides, Hellfire contained properties to deal direct damage to the soul!

Combining both created a far more devastating Fire Lance.

Seeing the thick Dragon flames mixed with Demonic Hellfire rushing towards its still-stunned body, the Pyreton became desperate as all its nerves fired on overdrive to counter the paralysis.

As a high-ranking defensive-type Qi Beast with a mythical bloodline, the Pyreton managed to shake off the effects of the Giant Roc’s sonic attack.

It could escape!

But just before it could move, it froze again.

Slow!

Stop!

Julian spammed both spells simultaneously and again, the Pyreton couldn’t move! And it was too late.

BOOM!

The thick tongues of flames collided with its chest, burning a massive circular hole all the way through, evaporating its flesh and internal organs!

The Pyreton became limp instantly in mid-air, it was dead.

DING!

The Giant Roc was the last monster standing, and the craziest past was that it was the weakest of the 3.

It was just a Level 50 Qi Beast.

The Giant Roc froze in mid-air as it stared at the corpse of the Demon’s second victim falling from the air, a victim that was even stronger than him.

In that moment, this Monster experienced terror.

When it turned its head to stare at the Demon again, he didn’t see a normal Demon anymore but a Terror Demon!

Dominion Aura!

Capitalizing on the terror and fear of the mythical bird of prey, Julian unleashed his aura again and this time, the Giant Roc immediately became completely paralyzed in fear.

Julian stepped through space, materializing beside it.

The Roc couldn’t even react, still frozen in terror. And without hesitation, Julian commenced his assault with the Hell Piercer.

BAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

He stabbed and stabbed and stabbed again till the Giant mythical Roc became riddled with massive bloody holes across its body.

And yet, it was still paralyzed in terror.

It couldn’t even show any resistance as from the air, Julian stabbed it repeatedly till they finally collapsed on the floor of the training chamber.

The Giant Roc bled to death from its deadly injuries and even in its last seconds, its eyes remained opened wide in terror and fear.

All 3 targets were dead.

And unlike the first time that he attacked them, by cleverly creating a strategy to assault them and exploiting their nature as mindless Qi Beasts against them, Julian managed to slaughter three Level 50+ Qi Beasts without shedding a single drop of blood!

Standing at the side of the training chamber, Elena stared with wide eyes that were filled with different complicated emotions.
