Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives-Chapter 906 One-night Husband
Villain Ch 906. One-night Husband
Bella watched her user interface intently, expecting to see a damage notification if there were any monsters hidden in the pool. But no damage announcement appeared. The water settled back into its calm state, the ripples gradually fading away.
"No damage notification," Bella confirmed, lowering her staff. "It looks like the pool is clear."
Allen exhaled slowly, a mixture of relief and lingering suspicion in his eyes. "Alright. But let's stay on guard. There might still be something we haven't detected."
The group nodded, their tension easing slightly but not completely disappearing. Allen stepped closer to the pool, dipping a hand into the water. It was cool and refreshing, the perfect antidote to the grime and stench clinging to him. Still, he remained cautious, moving slowly and deliberately.
Allen, with one last glance at his companions and the shimmering surroundings, took a deep breath and began to lower himself into the pool. The cool water enveloped his body little by little, sending a shiver through him as it touched his skin. It was a refreshing contrast to the heat and stench that had clung to him for so long.
The water was crystal clear and soothing, offering immediate relief as it washed over him.

He submerged himself further and could feel the slime that coated his armor start to dissolve. It slid off in slimy tendrils, disappearing into the water without a trace. It was almost magical how the water remained clear, as if the pool was enchanted to cleanse without becoming contaminated. The stench that had been so overpowering began to fade, replaced by the crisp, clean scent of the water.
The pool wasn't very deep, the water reaching only up to Allen's chest. It seemed purposefully designed for players to feel refreshed without the risk of drowning. He had to admit, the developers had done a remarkable job in creating this oasis in the depths of the dungeon.
Jane watched with a chuckle, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I feel like I'm accompanying a princess taking a bath," she teased, her laughter echoing softly in the cavern.
Allen, now feeling significantly more comfortable, smiled teasingly in return. "So does that make you guys my princes or a bunch of perverts watching me take a bath?" he quipped, his tone light.
Larissa giggled, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Maybe both," she said, her laughter infectious.
The girls laughed. They watched as Allen continued to scrub off the remnants of the slime, his movements now more relaxed.
Unfortunately, their light-hearted banter lasted only a moment. Suddenly, the chamber was rocked by a violent earthquake. The ground trembled beneath their feet, and the walls seemed to groan and shudder. The sparkling gems embedded in the ceiling flickered ominously, casting erratic shadows across the cavern.
Instantly, their faces turned serious. Weapons were drawn, and the group fell into their attack stances, eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of an impending threat. The soothing sound of the waterfall was drowned out by the rumble of shifting earth and stone.
Allen, still waist-deep in the pool, moved to get out immediately. But as he took his first step, he felt something wrap tightly around his ankle.
'As expected this is a trap,' thought Allen. He couldn't help but feel irritated even though he had expected it.
- BAM!
A loud impact landed in the middle of the pool, sending shockwaves through the water. The force was so intense that it created huge waves, submerging Allen entirely. The cold, clear water became a chaotic whirlpool, and Allen found himself disoriented, struggling to maintain his bearings as he was tossed about by the surging currents.
Underwater, Allen opened his eyes, the clarity of the pool allowing him to see through the chaos. He squinted, trying to identify what was wrapped around his ankle. Amid the swirling water, he saw it clearly, a strong, web-like thread, binding him tightly and anchoring him in place.
Once the water receded and the waves calmed, Allen broke through the surface, gasping for air. He wiped the water from his eyes and looked around, quickly assessing the situation. The girls stood ready, their weapons drawn.
In the center of the pool, where the impact had occurred, a monstrous figure emerged from the water. It was a huge spider, but not just any spider. This creature had a half-human body—specifically, the torso of a woman. Her upper body was covered in minimal armor, which looked more like a bra than actual protection.
The woman's skin was pale and glistening, her long, dark hair clinging to her wet body. Her eyes were cold and calculating, gleaming with a predatory intelligence.
The spider-woman's lower body was a nightmarish vision of arachnid horror. Eight long, segmented legs supported her massive form, each one ending in a sharp, deadly point. Her abdomen was covered in dark, chitinous armor, and her spinnerets were clearly visible, producing the webbing that had ensnared Allen.

The spider-woman's eyes immediately locked onto Allen. "Look what I found here~," she purred, her voice dripping with a sultry, almost mocking tone. She licked her lips slowly, savoring the sight of her captive. "I found a little prey in my pond. A handsome little prey who will be my one-night husband~," she continued, her words trailing off into a moan.
Jane, despite the tension in the air, couldn't help but quip, "Oh, the real pervert appears!" She knew it wasn't the time for jokes, but the situation was too ironic to pass up. Her attempt at levity brought a momentary lightness to their dire circumstances, though her eyes remained sharp and focused on the enemy.
Allen, still partially submerged and feeling the tight grip of the web around his ankle, stared at the spider-woman with a flat, annoyed expression. "Great," he muttered under his breath, his voice laced with sarcasm. "Just what I needed today."
The spider-woman advanced slowly, her segmented legs clicking on the stone floor with each step. "Don't be so grumpy, little prey," she cooed. "You should be honored to be chosen by me."
