Chapter 85: Chapter: 84 Rosalina’s anger![Bonus Chapter]

The moment Julius pushed the door open, everyone in the Star Class turned their eyes toward him.

Julius ignored all the curious gazes and scanned the room.

Sure enough... there he was.

Julius muttered under his breath, "You are finally here..."

In the corner of the classroom sat a boy around the same age as Julius.

It was easy to spot him.

Although there were only two girls in the class (excluding Alia), they were practically drooling over him.

His appearance was anything but ordinary.

He had sharp, almond-shaped red eyes, soft white hair that fell over his forehead, and a perfect jawline.

The calm look in his eyes felt almost unreal.

He sat quietly in the corner, not paying attention to anyone.

’You are finally here...’ Julius thought as he looked away.

’The pure-hearted hero who would purge all evil.’

He walked inside, and Rosalina followed right behind him.

"Hey, why were you in such a hurry—" she started complaining as she entered, but suddenly stopped.

Her gaze landed on the white-haired boy.

The moment she saw him, her hands began to tremble.

Hatred and anger rose sharply inside her.

Her eyes turned bloodshot, as if her stare alone could burn him to death.

"Crypian Thorne..." she muttered, her voice dripping with pure hatred.

Crypian felt her intense gaze and turned his head in her direction.

But before he could fully look, Julius quickly stepped in front of Rosalina, blocking her from view.

Julius flashed a gentle, warm smile, the kind that would even put a saint’s smile to shame.

"A new student?" Julius asked kindly, full of friendly energy.

Crypian simply nodded and quickly looked away.

Julius reached back and grabbed Rosalina’s hand.

Her fists were clenched so tightly that veins were popping out.

"Calm down!" he whispered as he gently helped her sit down at a desk.

He sat right beside her, using his body to hide her angry expression from everyone else.

"I know what you’re thinking," he said softly while patting her head, trying to calm her.

"But not right now."

Rosalina’s anger and hatred didn’t lessen at all, instead, it grew even stronger.

She was so furious that she didn’t even think to ask how Julius knew she had a deep grudge against Crypian.

Julius leaned closer and continued whispering softly in her ear, "I know how you feel, but right now isn’t the time."

Even so, Rosalina’s anger kept rising every second.

She was so furious that she clenched her fists tightly.

Her knuckles turned white, and her nails dug into her palms until drops of blood started falling.

Julius noticed her bleeding hand right away.

He quickly grabbed it, gently opened her fist, and slipped his own warm hand into hers.

He gave her something real to hold onto and pour all her anger into.

He knew exactly why she was this angry.

Since the day she was born, the only person who had truly loved Rosalina was her mother.

Her father "loved" her too, but it was out of fear.

He was scared that someone as talented and dangerous as Rosalina might turn against him one day.

That kind of fake love is as fragile as thin glass.

And that glass shattered completely when her mother was killed by the Thorne family.

They believed Rosalina’s mother had sold their most secret spell to the Valentina family, so they murdered her in cold blood.

In return, the Valentina family never sought revenge.

They were too afraid of losing their alliance with the Thornes and weakening their position against the Hayes family.

Since that day, Rosalina had hated the Thorne family, and even her own Valentina family, to the core.

She wanted to kill them all.

Julius looked at her gently.

His eyes softened with warmth as he whispered, "I am similar... though not in the same way of wanting to kill my family."

He muttered quietly, thinking about his own situation.

His family was a billion times better than hers.

His mother was one in a billion, and his father was the same.

They would probably sacrifice everything for him without hesitation.

"I’m similar because my hate for Crypian is the greatest," Julius continued.

He turned his head slightly. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

At that exact moment, Crypian also looked toward him.

Julius smiled again, a gentle, kind smile on the outside.

But inside, his heart was burning with rage.

If he could, he would walk over right now and choke the life out of him.

But there would be no point.

If he killed Crypian now, the hero would simply regress back in time with all his memories, while Julius would not.

Crypian would then have the huge advantage of knowing the future.

’And who knows...’ Julius thought with a quiet sigh.

’It could very well be that he has already regressed after coming to the academy.’

He gently squeezed Rosalina’s hand.

’I must meet my avatar as soon as possible and hand him the divination board. He can divine whether this is Crypian’s first time at the academy or not.’

Thinking that, Julius turned back toward Rosalina.

He gently patted her head with his free hand while still holding her injured one tightly.

"Don’t worry," he whispered softly, his voice warm and reassuring.

’No matter what happens, I won’t let you die.’

In his heart, the reason he hated Crypian ran very deep.

Actually, he hated the author and himself even more than the hero.

On the 40th regression, Crypian had schemed against him in the cruelest way.

He tricked Julius into killing Rosalina with his own hands.

She was killed by the second person she had loved the most in her life.

The real fault lay with the author and his beloved protagonist.

Julius gritted his teeth so hard that his molars started to bleed.

The metallic taste filled his mouth, but he didn’t care.

"If he had just given Rosalina a good ending..." he muttered bitterly.

Then his expression darkened even more.

A cold, dangerous smile slowly spread across his face as he made a silent vow.

"I swear," he whispered to himself, "if I don’t make your beloved hero suffer until his last breath..."

He paused for a moment, eyes burning with determination.

"...then I will stop flirting!"
