Chapter 83: Chapter 83: Divine Tribunal

"You finally showed up," said a man seated on a vast throne, gazing at the woman who had just walked in. She was a goddess in both literal and metaphorical sense, her overwhelming beauty commanding the very air around her. Silver hair framed her face in elegant waves, while violet eyes regarded the throne with chilling indifference. Her figure was devastatingly perfect—an hourglass shape that defied mortal comprehension, with dangerous curves that could drive men to madness. The way her fitted dress hugged every contour left little to imagination, yet somehow made her even more untouchable.

"Why did you summon me, Earus?" she asked, folding her arms beneath her ample chest, the gesture inadvertently drawing attention to her generous endowments.

"That’s God King to you," he said with a grin. She simply stared in silence, unimpressed.

"I received a report," he continued, his expression turning serious. Footsteps echoed through the chamber as another goddess entered, her face lit with pure glee.

"Neera," the newcomer said sweetly. The silver-haired goddess frowned in response.

This new arrival was equally breathtaking—golden hair that caught the divine light perfectly, cascading down her shoulders in lustrous waves. Her blue eyes sparkled with mischief, and her dress, cut daringly low, showcased her own impressive figure. Where Neera was coldly beautiful, this one radiated warmth and sensuality that seemed to heat the very air.

"Earus, what’s the meaning of this?" Neera demanded, staring back at the man on the throne. He had risen now, showing his full imposing height—broad shoulders beneath divine robes, a face carved with masculine authority, dark hair swept back from piercing golden eyes.

"You know the laws of the primordial overlords," he said, his voice carrying absolute authority. "A god must not interfere within the jurisdiction of another, before or during the PHASE." His eyes began crackling with golden light as he stared directly at Neera. "Why have you broken this law, Goddess Neera?"

She regarded him for a long moment, then turned to look at the golden-haired woman. "I have no idea what you mean by that."

The blonde goddess’s eyes narrowed dangerously. "Enough of this act. You snuck into my world, and you corrupted a soul."

"As I said, I have no idea what you mean. I have no knowledge of such," Neera replied coolly.

"Neera." The God King’s voice cut through the tension like a blade. He stood with all his divine majesty on display, power radiating from every inch of his imposing frame. "It would be better if you admitted to it, because if you are found wanting, the punishment would be inescapable. The primordials are not ones to be trifled with."

She stared at him blankly. "I still have no idea what you want me to admit to."

He returned her stare, then slowly sat back down, elbow propped on the armrest of his throne, chin resting on his palm—a gesture that somehow made him look even more dangerous.

"Fedora," he said, turning to the golden-haired goddess. Her attention snapped to him immediately. "Tell us once again how it happened."

Fedora nodded, her perfectly shaped lips forming each word with deliberate precision. "Some time back, an avatar of mine suddenly accessed my powers. I got curious about what she was doing. I peered through her eyes to understand what was happening, and to my greatest surprise, I sensed Neera’s authority within my realm, within a certain being." Her gaze fixed on Neera like a predator spotting prey. "However, the moment I sensed her presence, it promptly vanished—every trace of it. She must have realized I had caught on and promptly erased every trace of her breaking the laws."

Neera scoffed, folding her arms again in a way that emphasized her figure even more. "Now why would I leave my own realm to invade yours?"

Fedora stared at her calmly, then spoke with deadly quiet. "Revenge."

Neera’s lips pressed into a tight line.

"You want revenge, don’t you, dear Neera? To think you still hold a grudge against me for the destruction of your realm... tsk, so pathetic. So you’re trying to sabotage my realm as the PHASE approaches, isn’t that it? Isn’t that your pathetic form of revenge?" Fedora’s voice dripped with disdain, her beautiful face twisted into an expression of superior contempt.

Neera regarded her for a long moment, then looked at Earus. "I don’t appreciate being insulted over baseless accusations. I came here out of the little respect I have for you being the CURRENT God King. I thought it was something important, but it turns out it’s just some little slut throwing tantrums while you stand there and do nothing."

The temperature in the room seemed to drop several degrees.

"Are you saying she’s lying? You never invaded her realm?" Earus asked, his voice deceptively calm.

"I’m not saying anything. What I want is evidence. Show me the evidence that I invaded her territory." Neera’s voice carried the bite of winter wind. "She claims I was possessing a being from her realm. If that’s the case, even if I did leave, there should still be traces of my divinity in his soul, or at the very least, a deformity in that soul. Causality won’t permit me to simply invade a mortal soul without leaving marks."

Earus looked at Fedora expectantly. The golden-haired goddess stared blankly at Neera in silence, her confident demeanor faltering. It was clear she possessed no evidence whatsoever to support her claims.

"I’ll take that silence as a no," Neera said with satisfaction. She looked once again at Earus, her violet eyes flashing with barely contained power. "I will now take my leave... GOD KING." She emphasized the title mockingly before turning to walk out, her divine presence filling the chamber like an intoxicating perfume.

Earus watched her leave, his eyes following the hypnotic sway of her hips, the way her dress clung to every dangerous curve. His jaw tightened as he fought to maintain his composure. ’It seems she’s advanced even more in her beauty and sexuality divinity,’ he thought, barely managing to keep his desire in check when faced with such a tempting sight.

"Fedora," he said suddenly, his voice rough.

The angry-looking goddess glared at him, her blue eyes stormy with frustration and wounded pride.

"That human you found..." Earus was quiet for a long moment, his golden eyes growing distant and calculating before adding.

"Erase it’s soul."
