Villain's Valor: A Noble Fantasy Resurrection-Chapter 316: Future plans
"Isn’t there a way to get out without breaking the bubble? That might be the best answer to the contradiction..."
"I don’t know, maybe yes, maybe no, I just don’t know." He shrugged.
"Are you planning to leave the bubble?" I asked, curious.
"Of course I’m going to leave. After all, I don’t like the idea of being trapped in this small piece of land. I have to find those bastards who were chasing my mother," she said seriously.
It’s completely understandable that she thinks that way... once she leaves the bubble, she’ll return to her original state... an Archangel, a being far superior to the sacred ones of the empire... normally, she wouldn’t care whether the bubble breaks or not...
"But before we start to wander off, we have a big problem on our hands that we need to solve, and I have the idea that you’re also thinking about it," Dorothy smiled and, looking at the small lake, the water floated and went straight to her mouth... she had talked a lot, maybe her throat was dry...
"We’re talking about the siege on the empire, right?" I asked to confirm.
"Of course we are. We have to prevent the emperor from dying in that battle and keep half of the empire from disappearing. But now there are variables... in the previous timelines, the empire was besieged by three sins... Sloth, Lust, and Wrath... plus those crazy bastards infiltrated the empire at key points. On top of that, some ancients who wanted to take advantage of the situation invaded. These were Nigothor, Serpent of Damnation, and the main actor in this story... Crimson Torment, who was the main cause of almost half the empire sinking into hell. Normally, the sins Lust and Wrath would be invoked because of the two of us, but that variable no longer exists. So only Sloth remains... even if we have no idea what might truly happen... but the priorities are clear: don’t let the emperor die, don’t let the chosen ones die, and don’t let the Dimensional Woman die either."
"Things are clear... these people are much more important because they are the main objectives... even if we have to sacrifice half the empire for it." Dorothy was pointing out the key and most important points...
"But as I said, Lust and Wrath are variables we can’t prevent. They were supposed to be in our favor... but, I don’t think that’s the case. They undoubtedly felt the curse was broken. They must have other plans, and the most logical one would be a great sacrifice... the City of Adventurers... is in danger. In that city are the most powerful people... with all those souls, their cults will be able to perform a sacrifice to summon a sin."
"We have some time, but things can also change. We must act quickly while we have room to maneuver... fortunately for you, I’ve already informed your teacher, Athena. In a conversation, I managed to convince her of it. Now... we must keep the chosen ones in a safe zone. I’ll make sure of that too. I can’t trust someone as weak and insignificant as you to protect important people. Likewise, I’ll make sure to be there in case of unforeseen events, but you must take care of the Dimensional Woman and find the cultists infiltrated in the academy and eradicate them. I can’t do everything, of course. Ask for help; don’t be stupid and try to do it by yourself. Most of them are between Diamond and Emerald rank, far beyond your reach. I suggest you ask for help from the Dimensional Woman who will be with you and Professor Athena."
"I think that’s all for now... no, wait. By the way, what will you do with the traitor?" Dorothy asked after talking non-stop...
"I don’t know, but before that, which cult does the man who deceived her belong to?" This question was very important...
"In the cult of Sloth. They were the most active in that siege. Without a doubt, that man will visit that woman, although I don’t know that for sure... but after the siege ended, her home was destroyed along with her daughters. Somehow, the empire found out she was a traitor, which led to her execution, with no chance for a trial... after her, her two daughters followed. They were branded as the devil’s daughters. After further investigation, it was said that signs of a battle were found somewhere behind the castle. In fact, they found that woman unconscious... the fatal proof of her betrayal was found on her own body, the seal of Sloth, and that was her end."
Dorothy looked into my eyes: "I suppose you did something with her and somehow..."
"Yes... she is now freed from the seal. What’s the best course of action?" I had no knowledge about this, so I wanted her opinion.
She frowned and thought for a few moments: "That man must already know the seal was broken, so that woman is out of his control... the smartest thing would be to kill her..." "I think it would be best to keep her by your side; she can also help you eliminate the infiltrated cultists if that’s the best option."
"Now that’s all for now, phew, I feel so tired." Dorothy lay down on the ground and let out a sigh...
Reflecting... a great burden that I felt on my back was greatly relieved... the terrible thoughts also ceased... all this time, I was always thinking about the best way to control the siege on the academy, but my strength was minimal. I also couldn’t say that the empire was going to be attacked by the 7 sins; it would be very suspicious, but now with the help of a sacred being who has knowledge of previous resets...
Closing my eyes, I let my body relax to the point of death. My mind felt light in the same way. This place is so comfortable...
Now we found ourselves in complete silence. Dorothy had her eyes closed and was breathing calmly; she seemed to be asleep...
A lot of things were running through my mind with what she had just told me. I was redesigning my future plans with a new vision... of course, the first thing would be to get out of this place...

"Will I be able to be free?" I asked directly...
"No!" She yelled angrily...
"..."
"Then how do you expect me to make preparations, damn it!!" I yelled back, frustrated...
"That’s not my problem!!"
Then there was another argument... it was starting to feel like a routine...
