[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor-Chapter 445 - 444 – End of holy empire – Part 4.

"…"

"Okay…. Em…. Where is everybody?" – said the organization player as the invasion force has reached the inner ring of the city.

"Hey! Anything up there?!"

"NOPE! I'm looking, but I see shit! No angels or paladins! Just empty streets!" – shouted the player on top of the building, trying to scout the area for the enemies, but spotting straight up nothing as the entire inner circle of the city.

"…"

"Did Hunter say anything?" – asked Maparapara as Doctor's army arrived at the inner circle.

"Nope. She found some nobles hiding in their homes and mansions, but nothing else." - replied Phantasia while being in his first form.

"She said there are few soldiers, but they appear to be only personal guards hired by the nobles…. Beside that, there is nothing."

"…Huh… Then, I guess they just fortified themselves inside of the castle?" – said Maparapara as she started at the massive castle that towered over everything in the area.

"Damn…. I think this place is bigger than any fortress or castle I've ever seen."

"Probably the defense of this place is also." – said Phantasia.

"Welp, I guess we will just head over to the castle and-"

"!"

However, right as the organization forces were about start making their way towards the holy castle, a giant column of light suddenly busted out from the castle grounds, before then getting swallowed by the sky.

"…"

"Oh…. That ain't good." – said Phantasia as the sky consumed the entire pillar of the light, before moments later a golden gate formed right in the middle of the sky above the castle.

"Em… What is that?" – asked Maparapra.

"Summoning." – said Phantasia.

"Specifically a special type of summoning tied to the heavens."

"The 'Gate Of Heavens'."

The golden gate opened up and a rays of light fell down on the entire area around the holy castle, lighting up the area and dispersing any shadows that befallen the city.

"Heretics." – said the heavenly voice as it echoed throughout the city.

"You dare to harm the innocent?"

"You dare to insult their faith?"

"You dare to corrupt these lands?"

"Shame on you."

"Shame on all of you."

"You chosen unfaithfully and chosen to betray the justice."

"You chosen betrayal when we wanted only mercy."

"And now, the day of judgment has come." – said the heavenly voice who descended down, revealing themselves to be a giant six winged angel in an armored cloth.

"The day of judgment will not be stopped." – said the heavenly voice as a large army of angels began pouring out of the gate, filling up the skies.

"!"

"Hey, hey, hey! Isn't this like a whole ass army?!" – said panicking player.

"Just how many of those fuckers did they summoned?!"

"!"

"Shit! Six wings! This isn't some normal or high-ranking angel! It is archangel!" – said orc player.

"Now, it is time for the judgment to befall all of you." – said the heavenly voice.

"And that is de-"

"?"

Suddenly, all at once, the skies were filled with explosions, which slaughtered countless angels on the spot, making their corpse just rain down.

"!?"

"WHO DARES?!" – shouted the heavenly angel as it pushed away cloud of smoke with its wings.

["Justice?! HA! DREAM ON!"] – shouted the "Kid's" voice as it echoed throughout the city.

["You ain't justice! Nor mercy! You are just warmonger parasites that only care about total control!"]

["Out of all the invaders, you are the ones with most death of innocents on your hands!"]

["You ain't nothing more that hypocrite and pathological liars!"]

["And you despise it when the truth gets out!"]

["And the funny thing is, you really think that those speeches of yours will do anything when everybody knows they are full of shit?"]

["Wow…."]

["I guess the entire heaven is really filled with nothing more than brain dead idiots."] – said "Kid" as the Sky Behemoth alongside several planes as well as dragons were flying above the city.

"!"

"INSOLENT HERETIC!" - shouted the archangel.

"You dare to-"

Before the angel could argue back, the vampire weapons unleashed hell once again alongside the dragons, bombarding the angels and instantly slaughtering even more heavenly soldiers right on the spot.

["That ain't a spectacle, you fucking idiot."] – said "Kid" while holding a microphone like device.

["It's a war."]

["And if you can't understand as basic as this."]

["Then take your fancy pants right back home and cry to your mommy!"]

"?!"

"KILL THEM! FUCKING KILL THEM!" – shouted the angel in fury as heavenly army and organization army clashed in the skies.

"….Huh…. So, what now? Can you fly?" – asked Maprapra.

"Nah. I don't have that thing." – replied Phantasia.

"Still, they will come our way."

"Since look."

"They are already heading this way." – said Phantasia as a horde of angels flew down.

"Hunt down the heretics." – said the heavenly knight as it landed on the ground.

"Exterminating all."

"Oh, nice." – said Maparapara as she took on her giant form while Phantasia transformed into his second form.

"It is nice of them to come us."

"It makes our job that much easier!"

The army of the heavens descended onto the battlefield and once again the entire city was consumed by the chaos.

The streets were and the skies were engulfed in flames as the battle raged while the destruction reigned.

The entire inner circle of the city was instantly getting destroyed.

Houses were being demolished by the war while the people trapped inside of their houses met an unfortunate end.

"Damn! These bastards are really savages! They are wrecking their own city?!" – said Maparapara as she was blocking a hail of spears, before then swatting away the angelic knights with her shield.

"Well, this isn't the first time they did that." – said Phantasia.

"When I fought the forces of the goodness of fire, her fallowers and angels did the exact same thing."

"Pure destruction."

"I mean, for crying out loud. Even demons have way more self-control than these brutes!" – said Phantasia used his poisoned claws to destroy several angels all at once, before then using [Necro Brawl: Bone Breaker], covering his entire arm in bones before then unleashing a powerful punch that took down massive angelic knight.

"…"

"Although… Something is off." – said Phantasia.

"Why there are only angels?"

"I get the whole fact that they needed to be summoned right in the skies and stuff, since that is how the Heaven Gate works…. But shouldn't they had already sent their forces out of the castle?" – said Phantasia as he ripped off angel knight's wings

"?"

"Yea…. There should be some bastards by now…. I mean, I doubt they would just leave them inside, considering how little they value human lives and stuff." – said Maparapara as she was easily blocking off the angels' projectiles.

"…"

(I know Son Of Will is still alive…. And so are the other two remaining children of the holy emperor, according to our agents.) – thought suspicious Phantasia.

(They should have arrived.)

(They should already be here, fighting alongside their soldiers and stuff.)

(And yet, they are not he-)

"…"

"Oh…. Right." – said Phantasia.

"Yea, I get it."

"?"

"Get what?" – asked Maparapra.

"Well, these guys here, they weren't really summoned with faith and divine power." – said Phantasia.

"These bastards used that method."

"A living sacrifices."

"?!"

"Wait, you are telling me, they killed their own people to summon them?! But ain't that demon's thing?!" – asked shocked Maparapara.

"Heaven and hell are straight up copies of each other just wearing different colors and themes." – said Phantasia.

"These bastards must had sacrificed their own fallowers to summon these angels."

"Huh…. And here are they saying stuff that it is 'forbitten' and 'heretical', while they do it themselves?" – said Maparapara.

"Wow, these guys are straight up nothing more than hypocrites, are they?"

"Yeb. They are." – said Phantasia as he grabbed angel mid air before then just crushing it its hand like a potato.

"But that ain't enough to stop us."

And Phantasia was right.

The army of the heavens was strong…. But not strong enough.

The heavy bombardment caused by the vampire weapons and dragons' breath was making short work of the angels as the invaders were instantly killed the moment they crossed over via the gate.

Not only that, there was just straight up not enough angels to fight off both the forces in the air and on the ground, causing the heavenly army to get easily outnumbered by the enemies.

"…"

(Shit. This isn't good.) – thought the holy emperor as he stared at the chaos that was happening right outside the castle grounds.

(The gate wasn't strong enough!)

"I've thought if I just used the lives of the believers, it would be enough…. But the connection wasn't stable enough."

"If I had at least used one of these bastards, the summoning would have been perfected!"

(Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm caster, I would had sacrificed this body as well.)

"…"

*Sigh*

(It won't work.) – thought the holy emperor as he pulled out a dagger from his pocket.

(I guess it will be soon time to change up the body, eh?)
