[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor-Chapter 453 - 452 – Dragons’ Betrayal – Part 5.

"Huh…. This was unexpected?" – said Phantasia.

"Didn't these dragons helped us out in slaughtering her most loyal devotees?"

"Well, this is how the hell and hell have in common." – said 'Kid'.

"They have no real loyalty to their fallowers."

"They will throw you at the moment notice if they find somebody more 'profitable'."

"Still, this doesn't make a sense in this scenario."

"Holy empire was the best source of power and authority for that shitty goodness."

"There is no way she would had made contract with dragons."

"I would somewhat get wind dragons, but this shitty bastards? No fucking way in hell."

"They must had made some form of a deal."

(I don't see nature dragons anywhere…. But there is shit tons of undeads….) – thought 'Kid'.

(However, what is their goal now in this place? Is it to reestablish connection with the goodness? Or get corpses?)

(Either way, the gods cannot really intervene in this world very freely without any form of connection.)

(That means that shitty goodness was so desperate that she must had used up a lot of her own divine power to 'bless' these fuckers.)

(Which is interesting… But also, stupid.)

"Fire." – said 'Kid', ordering all the planes, soldiers and the Sky Behemoth to open bombardment at the army of undeads and light dragons.

The dragons of light instinctively deployed their barriers, protecting themselves somewhat from the attacks…. However, the large number of undeads were blasted with explosions, destroying them and lifting off some pressure on the darkness dragon and organization forces.

"Now! Get the fuckers!" – shouted the darkness dragon general as he led his forces against undeads.

"…"

"Tch."

(I've thought this "empire" elites would be somewhat useful as corpse…. But I guess losing the main connection to their goodness made them truly useless even after death.) – thought the light dragon general.

(I guess their only usefulness are as sacrifices.)

"Welp, we got what we wanted." – said the light dragon general as he then shot out a beam of light into the air, alarming all the light dragons who instantly stopped fighting and instead began swarming towards the light dragon general.

"?"

"What are they doing?" – said 'Kid' who instantly realized the dragons were preparing something.

"Aim at the fuckers."

"!"

"Sir! A horde of fire dragons they are coming our way!" – said vampire knight.

"!"

"Wait! One of the enemies coming our way is…. The fire dragon general! He-"

"?!"

"Undead!? Wait, every fire dragon coming our way are undeads! Including the general!"

"BLAST THEM AT FULL POWER!" – shouted 'Kid'.

"They are trying to fucking stall us!"

"Yes sir!" – replied vampire knight as all once the vampire forces began unleashing hell at the incoming fire dragons.

"…"

"These useless too, huh?" – said light dragon general as he took out a massive staff and lifted it up, creating a massive magic circle above him and all the dragons of light that had gathered near him.

The massive magic circle instantly put both the darkness dragons and vampires on the high alert, causing them to unleash everything they had all at once in order to mow down as many undeads as possible.

However, the undead fire dragon general ram head first into the Sky Behemoth, trying to tear apart the ship as the barrier was keeping the dragon in check.

And before the dragon could do any form of critical damage to the barrier, Phantasia leaped out of the ship in his third ultimate form and tackled the dragon from above, smashing right into it and making both combatants fall down, which opened up the path for the vampires.

The vampires' heavy bombardment was destroying all of the undead fire dragons and before long they have reached the light dragons.

The bullets flew in their directions, alarming the dragons of light as they deployed their barriers once again, trying to survive the barrage…. However, even with the goodness blessing, their defenses weren't strong enough as several of the dragons' barriers ended up shattering… Which then obviously led to some dragons being killed.

However, the massive circle above the dragons of light finally activated, unleashing a giant pillar of light that swallowed up the entire army of the dragons, which alarmed the organization forces, making them get ready to defend themselves for any sort of attack that was about to come their way.

…

But nothing really happened.

There was no attack or anything.

Instead, there was a total emptiness where the dragons of light were.

All of the members of the light dragon clan completely disappeared.

"?"

"Eh?"

The organization stared dumbfounded by what just happened…. And right in the next moment, all of the undeads stared suddenly dropping to the ground, returning back to being nothing more than simple corpses.

"…"

"The fuck happened?" – said Phantasia as he held the fire dragon general by his neck, realizing that he too stopped working.

(We just started fighting and they just dipped?! Not only that, all of the undeads suddenly stopped working? The hell just happened?!)

[Meanwhile: Heaven realm – Domain of the mother of light]

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" – shouted the mother of light as she stared at the mirrors of water, noticing the signals of light dispersing as well as her visions over the areas losing contact.

(They are fucking disappearing from the empire!?)

(Did…. No! There is no way they could had gotten wiped all out on the spot instantly after I blessed them!)

(And every single one of those dragons!?)

"THIS SHITTY BASTARDS! THEY BETREAYD ME!?"

(But do you really think I've fucking trusted you!?)

(I can still reclaim all the power I've had given to you! The power that you "accepted"!)

"W-WAIT! WHAT!?" – the goodness tried franticly swiping her hand in the bawls of water, before then straight up going on the total rampage and straight up attacking them.

"WHY!? WHY!? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?"

(I can't reclaim my powers!? What the hell is…. No wait!)

(I can't stop supplying it either!?)

"….Welp, they all are reporting the same thing." – said the 'Kid' as the general of the darkness dragon clan boarded the Sky Behemoth.

"The forces of the light dragon clan experience a sudden mutation alongside the sights of the power of the god being used."

"However right after that, both nature and light dragon clans made their get aways while the hordes of undeads that were with them suddenly stopped working."

"It seems that all of the traitors ran away."

"The only ones remaining are the few fire dragons that are still inflicted with the berserker curse."

"They are gone? Gone!?" – said doubtful darkness dragon.

"Believe me, I'm just as confused as you are." – replied the 'Kid'.

"But the reports all are saying the same thing."

"They just ran away after obtaining the power of the mother of light."

"So…. Does anybody have any fucking clue right now?" – asked Hunter, breaking the silence.

"Nope. We don't." – said the 'Kid'.

"Logically speaking, these bastards would be still fucked no matter what."

"Even if they did obtained the power of the mother of light and even if they were to turn the entire empire into the land of the death, they would be still lose."

"But making that kind of shit show before then just running off???"

"Yea… The dragons of light are the most prideful of all the dragon clans." – said the darkness dragon general.

"Yet they went and did all sort of things, before then just running off with the tail between their legs?"

"But they had gotten that goodness blessing, didn't they?" – asked Maparapra.

"Yea, and why?" – said Hunter.

"Is it possible they struck some form a deal between themselves?"

"Very likely…. But that part doesn't make sense." – said 'Kid'.

"If they just wanted her power, why not just go back quietly home and in secret receive her blessings?"

"They are our 'allies' and not 'members' of the organization."

"Or if they wanted to have the goodness regain her proper connection, why they didn't just launched a full scale assault on the capital city!?"

"If they reached the city, they would not only raise a army of the death, but also could reestablish the main connection which we just recently severed."

"These bastards actions doesn't make a lick of sense."

"Unless they were only after the divine power of the mother of light." – said Phantasia.

"Maybe that is the whole reason why they joined our allies?"

"They just wanted that power and nothing else."

"And once they got their hands on, they just ran away?"

"Based on what we seen, this must had been their goal all along."

"The reason why they attacked us…. Maybe it was to make it look real? As if they decided to serv the goodness?"

"But if that the case, them running away could be maybe a betrayal?"

"Why the hell did they went with this tactic out of all the possible options?"

"And why they were so desperate to obtain the divine power of the mother of the light?"

"This is the question that we need to answer at all the cost, if we want to understand what the hell is going on here."
