Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 178 - 177: What Are the Odds
Bella Acker sat up straight, "Sister, I’m fine, go ahead." Saying that, she closed her eyes.
It was almost time to start filming, and the makeup artist didn’t want to waste any time. She immediately wrapped ice in a gauze and applied it to Bella Acker’s eyes.
The ice was indeed very cold, and being in the middle of winter, it’s not hard to imagine how it felt.
But Bella Acker just shivered slightly and said nothing, enduring it stoically.
Fortunately, the suffering was worth it. After applying the ice, the makeup artist sister reapplied makeup on her face and specifically touched up around her eyes, making the slight puffiness almost invisible.
Bella Acker carefully checked herself in the mirror and finally breathed a sigh of relief when she saw everything was okay, "Sister, thank you so much, you’re my savior!"
"Pfft, it’s just a touch-up, it’s my job, it’s not that dramatic."
"No, it is," Bella Acker said seriously, "If it weren’t for your magical hands, I wouldn’t be able to film tonight. I’ve already delayed everyone by taking time off, and if I caused another delay tonight, it would really be inexcusable."
"Don’t push yourself too hard," the makeup artist sister, having seen many hardworking newcomers, said with a smile and a comforting tone.
"Okay, okay, I get it. Sister, I’ll head out now." Bella Acker thanked her again and then left.
The makeup artist sister watched her run out, smiled, shook her head, and murmured to herself, "What a lovable girl, I just hope she doesn’t get caught up in the bad habits of this industry in the future."
When Bella Acker returned, the crew was already busy working. Not wanting to waste time, she hurried over.
The shooting went relatively smoothly that night, and they finally wrapped up at four in the morning.
"Thank you all for your hard work," Bella Acker bowed and thanked the crew. If she hadn’t taken leave, she wouldn’t have caused everyone to work overtime with her.
"You worked hard too, Bella."
Everyone exchanged thanks and then started packing up.
Sharon Cheney had finished filming early and went back to the hotel, leaving Bella Acker to return alone.
After removing her makeup and changing out of her costume, Bella Acker left the set.
Because there were many people working at the filming base at night, lots of food shops stayed open all night.
As Bella Acker walked out of the set, a cold wind hit her, making her immediately tighten her coat.
"It’s so cold, I wonder if it will snow here," she muttered to herself.
"It’s a damp cold here, so it rarely snows," Archer Quinn walked out from behind a fence at the entrance, taking off the scarf around his neck and naturally wrapping it around Bella Acker’s neck.
"Senior Quinn, you don’t have to. You’ll be cold without your scarf," Bella Acker protested, trying to give it back.
"Men have more body heat than women, you keep it, I’m not cold," Archer Quinn smiled and said.
Bella Acker reached out and touched his fingers, finding them indeed warm, she stopped insisting, "Senior Quinn, it’s so late, why aren’t you asleep? What are you doing at the set?"
"I was reading a script for a few hours, got too energetic and couldn’t sleep, so I decided to take a walk," Archer Quinn smiled, "Are you hungry? Let me treat you to a late-night snack."
