Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 210 - 209: I Said You’re My Boyfriend
Watching the young couple walk into the elevator without looking back, Bella Acker blinked twice, somewhat puzzled as to why they suddenly walked so fast.
"Hey, wait, I’m going up too." Bella Acker was only momentarily stunned, and immediately rushed in after them.
The young couple turned their heads, "Hmph!"
Bella Acker: "..." Did she unknowingly say something wrong just now? But she was only speaking the truth. She wasn’t sure which sentence had offended the young couple.
Bella Acker felt a bit awkward, but fortunately, the elevator was fast and quickly reached the 12th floor. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
"Thanks for that just now." Bella Acker thanked them before stepping out of the elevator.
Her politeness made the young couple, who inexplicably disliked her, feel a bit embarrassed.
The elevator doors closed, and Bella Acker turned around. After a few steps, she saw the door numbered 1201.
"Damian should be back, right?" Bella Acker took a deep breath and resolutely approached to ring the doorbell.
The doorbell kept ringing, and after a while, she finally heard the sound of the door unlocking.
Here he comes!
Bella Acker reminded herself, standing at the doorstep without retreating even a step.
Damian Sinclair opened the door and was genuinely taken aback when he saw Bella Acker standing there.
He stared at her for a moment, then asked in a deep voice, "How did you find this place?"
"I... I went to the villa to find you." Afraid that he would close the door, Bella immediately stuck a leg in the doorway and asked with a hint of pleading, "Dam... Damian, can I come in and sit for a bit?"
"My home does not welcome outsiders." Damian Sinclair coldly threw out a sentence, glanced at her leg stuck in the doorway, and turned to walk into the living room.
Hmph! If he truly didn’t welcome her in, then why not close the door? Turns out Damian likes to say one thing and mean another. She didn’t realize this before, faced with his cool demeanor.
Heh heh, although a bit awkward, this Damian is still quite handsome!
Bella Acker giggled quietly, closed the door, and followed him into the living room.
Damian Sinclair stood on the balcony, and the unlit living room was dim, with only his cigarette glowing intermittently in his hand.
"It’s so dark," Bella Acker muttered and asked, "Damian, why don’t you turn on the light?"
There was no response. Bella Acker pursed her lips, glanced around the living room, and finally spotted the fluorescent green of the light switch in the dim light, hurriedly going over to turn it on.
The originally dim living room suddenly brightened up, and Bella Acker breathed a sigh of relief, then slowly moved towards the balcony.
The light wasn’t bright before, so she hadn’t noticed. Only now did she realize Damian was still wearing his work clothes. After coming back, did he not even feel like changing? Is he feeling sad inside?
Bella Acker walked over to him slowly and softly asked, "Damian, when did you learn to smoke?"
Damian had never smoked before, and he only drank in moderation, never getting drunk.
Damian Sinclair did not answer her question, "Why did you come here?"
"Of course, I came to find you," Bella Acker said, tentatively reaching out to pinch the cigarette butt from his fingers, whispering, "Smoking is bad for your health."
Damian looked down at her, his gaze colder than the winter night’s snow, "Ms. Acker, you seem to be minding too many things."
Bella Acker took his cigarette away, straightened up, and pouted, "Of course, I have to mind! You’re my boyfriend, who else should I care for?"
"What did you say?" Damian frowned.
"I said... I said you’re my boyfriend!" Bella Acker pretended to be brave, raising her head defiantly, "Or do you not want to be my boyfriend?!"
