I thought that I would be the first one up, but to my surprise...everyone was already up and packing.

It seemed that they had already been up for a while with how much they had packed.

I raised a brow as I asked, "What are you all doing up this early?"

I had woken up as soon as the sun rose, so it was actually quite early.

For them to be up earlier, it meant that they had been up before dawn came.

Bing Xin was the one that came forward to explain, "My mother has decided to come back to the sect with us and live in the courtyard that belongs to me. Everyone was up early to help pack, but we didn’t want to disturb the young master, so we didn’t wake you up."

I looked at her with the same brow raised before saying, "Why would I mind? It’s your courtyard, so you’re free to bring her to live wherever you want."
