Chapter 373: Bar demon

When I was about to leave the bar, I turned back once more to look at the others who were sitting there and asked with a smile, "Does anyone else have any business with me?" 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

There were only looks of shock and fear that were aimed in my direction when I said this.

After overcoming their shock, all of them quickly shook their heads to show that they didn’t want any trouble at all.

There were even some that shrank back in their seats as if they were trying to make themselves seem as small as possible. They didn’t want me to even notice them, which was why they were trying to hide themselves as much as possible.

Though it would be strange if they wanted me to notice them after what I had done.

The walls of the bar were filled with holes from the people that I had punched into them.

All of the ones that had wanted to rob me were completely stripped by me before they had a chance to do anything. Right now, they were just lying on the ground outside of this place.

That was how I solved that problem.

I knew that they were planning on attacking me later, but there was no need for me to wait. There wasn’t even a need for me to rely on the defenses of the system anymore since I had become much stronger.

I was already in the Core Formation Realm and could be considered a high level cultivator in the mortal world.

Most of these mercenaries were only in the Qi Gathering Realm, there were a few of them that were in the Foundation Realm. With the power that I possessed, it was easy for me to sweep the floor with them.

I didn’t even have to pull out the Wild Raging Spear, it just took a few punches for me to knock them all out.

Of course, to teach them a proper lesson, I made sure to rip through their clothes and take all the valuables that they had.

The best way to teach scum like this a lesson was to do the same thing to them that they did to others.

So I stripped them and took everything that they had so they would know what their victims felt.

After making sure that no one else wanted a piece of me, I just walked out of the bar without looking back.

As he walked out, the barkeeper looked in the direction of the door with a bitter smile on his face before saying, "He really was a demon after all."

He had been in this city long enough to know that anyone that came with a bunch of money would either be a fool or a demon in hiding. It turned out that this was indeed a demon.

"I wonder how much chaos he’ll cause in this city." The barkeeper couldn’t help saying to him.

...

Three days later, I finally walked out of Sand Wind City.

I had spent the last three days gathering information around the city.

Since this was a taboo zone, there had to be something special about it that made it a taboo zone. This meant that it should be a very dangerous place to go into and I didn’t want to enter it without proper information.

It took three days of going around in Sand Wind City to get that information.

I was finally confident enough to go and find that red dot.

Even though three days had passed, I had been going into the Space and Time Storage Space every night to give them the resources that they needed and they were indeed becoming stronger.

Much stronger than I thought they would be, but that was a good thing.

It seemed that they really were determined to become stronger.

As I was leaving Sand Wind City, there were a few whispers that caught my attention.

That was because these whispers were talking about something that was related to me, something that I had no choice but to pay attention to.

"Did you hear about what’s been happening in the past three days?"

"What do you mean?"

"They’re saying that there’s a demon that’s been going around to all of the bars asking for information."

"Demon?"

"That’s right. This is a demon that shows up to random bars and they always use high grade spirit stones to buy information. Then after paying for the information, they also pay for the damages to the bar before beating up everyone that covets their stuff."

"Are they really that powerful?"

"There hasn’t been a single person who has been able to even land a single blow on the demon, that’s how strong they are."

"What is this demon looking for?"

"They just keep asking about the Tarask Desert and nothing else. Perhaps there is something special in the Tarask Desert these days?"

"That’s why there’s been so many people heading out during this time...Maybe I should try my luck too?"

"Forget it, it’s better to keep yourself safe. That demon is so powerful, do you think that whatever is there is easy to get?"

"Right, it’s not something that people like us could even think of."

There was a wry smile that appeared on my face as I heard this conversation.

That was because the demon that they were referring to was...me.

I was the one that had been going to the different bars, but I hadn’t only gone to the bars. I had gone to many different places and obtained all kinds of information, but that also meant that there were many people that coveted my things.

Though it was a strange feeling being able to beat everyone like that.

In the past, when I showed off, I had no choice but to rely on the defenses of the system to defend myself against those that tried to mug me.

But now, I had become strong enough to defeat those that tried to rob me.

It seemed that I had really come a long way from that time.
