Chapter 409: Divine Aura

It wasn’t just the ball of scarlet water that burned in the end, it was also the demon that started burning.

Once the beam of light purified the entire ball of scarlet water, the beam of light slammed right into the demon himself.

It only hit the demon’s hands that were pushing the ball of scarlet water down at first, but that alone was enough to make smoke come from the demon’s body.

With the way that the demon wanted to pull away, it seemed like it was being hurt by the light of the lamp. Only, it was impossible for the demon to pull away faster than the light of the lamp could hit it.

That was unless it could move at the speed of light and that wasn’t possible even if it had reached the Human Immortal Realm.

All that the demon could do in the end was turn out of the way of the beam of light, but that meant that half of it was still hit by the beam of light. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

The smoke came from the demon’s body when the beam of light slammed into the demon. It couldn’t do a single thing as it was burning from where the beam of light hit it.

It took a large amount of effort for the demon to pull himself out of the beam of light in the end. However, even though he had pulled himself out of the beam of light, half of his body had already been burnt by it.

Based on the burns on its skin, it didn’t seem like its burns were light.

It seemed that it had been quite hurt because of the beam of light.

The demon quickly fell back down to the ground before looking at me with a wary look. As it looked at me like this, it slowly said, "How, how did you do that? How is that artifact this powerful?"

I didn’t say anything as I suddenly stepped forward.

The demon was caught off guard since he never expected me to be this aggressive.

In the end, all that the demon could do was raise its hand to block the spear swing that I sent out at it.

It seemed like the demon was only wary of the lamp in my other hand, it didn’t seem like the demon was wary of the Wild Raging Spear that I was swinging at it at all.

It was almost as if the demon was completely looking down on the Wild Raging Spear.

Unfortunately for the demon, the Wild Raging Spear was not something that could be looked down on.

The demon was completely caught off guard by the pain that filled its hand as the Wild Raging Spear cut right through it.

I had swung the Wild Raging Spear downwards, so it cut right through the center of the demon’s hand, splitting it in half.

The demon’s eyes opened wide in shock before he quickly moved away again to create distance between us. As he moved away, he looked at the Wild Raging Spear that was still dripping its black blood onto the ground.

Once the demon had landed, he roared, "What is going on? How can you hurt me when I’ve recovered my cultivation like this?!"

It seemed like the demon had completely lost his calm from the two shocks that he suffered. It seemed like the demon just couldn’t believe what he was seeing, even though it was happening right in front of his eyes.

The demon didn’t understand what was happening, but he knew that he was in danger.

So the only thing that the demon could do was...

"Attack him! All of you swarm him!"

He shouted at the demonic cultivators and demons who had been watching the entire time.

The demonic cultivators and demons didn’t know how to react to this order, so they just stood there in a daze.

During this moment of hesitation, I went forward and continued my attack on the demon.

The only thing that the demon could do was raise his hand and pull some of the demonic cultivators and demons that were nearby towards him. They seemed like they were controlled by something as they flew through the air at me.

Seeing them come at me like this, I had no choice but to use the lamp and Wild Raging Spear to burn them and cut them down. All of them screamed in pain as they were cut down and burnt, but the demon didn’t care at all.

The only thing that the demon seemed to care about was getting as far away from me as possible.

The problem was that since half of his body had been burnt, he wasn’t able to fly away from me. The only thing that the demon could do to put distance between us was to turn and run.

And he did run.

As he ran, he kept waving his hands back at me and throwing more of the demonic cultivators and demons at me.

With the way that I was chasing the demon down and cutting down all of the people that he threw at me, it really was hard to tell which one of us was the demon and which one was the victim.

But during this time, the demon seemed to be looking at the lamp and the Wild Raging Spear in my hand carefully.

It was as if the demon could recognize something from these things in my hand.

Finally, the demon said in a loud voice filled with shock, "Divine Aura? How do you have Divine Artifacts?!"

I didn’t say anything as I continued chasing after the demon.

The demon’s face twisted the moment that he realized that I was wielding Divine Artifacts.

There really wasn’t anything that the demon could do against me if I was using Divine Artifacts against him like this.

The demon was from an upper realm, so he knew exactly what kind of power these Divine Artifacts had.

The only thing that was on the demon’s mind now was to run.
