I certainly didn’t expect the defense system to suddenly activate like this, but then I realized something.

The other side wasn’t an invader from an upper realm.

The reason why the system had restricted the defense system for me the entire time was because of the upper realm invaders. The system didn’t want the defense system taking the kills from me, which was why it had restricted the use of the defense system.

But since the other side was an elder from one of the sects and not an upper realm invader, it didn’t hesitate to use the defense system.

Though I was also surprised that the system would suddenly use the defense system since it wasn’t as if I was in danger in the first place.

This elder was only in the Soul Formation Realm, he wasn’t even someone who was in the Rebirth Realm.

With three Transcendence Realm Spirit Beasts behind me, there was no way that he would be able to do anything to me. Even if the Central Sect Alliance was behind him, it wasn’t as if they would all attack me.

So I was surprised that the system thought that I was in danger.

It was because the system wanted to show the Central Sect Alliance and all those elders that were watching that I wasn’t someone to be messed with. It was threatening them to make them back down instead of trying to mess with me.

I certainly didn’t expect the system to take the initiative to do something like this, but it wasn’t as if this was a bad thing.

I was about to leave this lower realm, so I just needed the Central Sect Alliance to leave me alone a bit longer. I didn’t need to think about the long term consequences of this, I just wanted them to leave me alone for now.

I only knew that the sealed artifacts came from this Demon Valley, but I had no idea what they were.

It seemed strange that these sealed artifacts came from this place, so I couldn’t help wondering if I could find the source of these sealed artifacts.

Perhaps there was something special about the source of the sealed artifacts...

Perhaps there was some kind of special treasure in this Demon Valley.

"There is nothing left. The source of the sealed artifacts has already been destroyed by you."

The system’s voice caught me off guard, but then I couldn’t help asking, "What do you mean by that?"

"The sealed artifacts came from the gaps in space created by the demonic energy of the throne polluting this place. This caused sealed artifacts from the void to slip into this lower realm." The system calmly explained.

"The void?" I couldn’t help repeating in a confused voice.

"The void is the space in between the different realms and is the place where different creatures live. The creatures that fall there leave behind things that get covered in space dust over the years, which is what creates the shells around the sealed artifacts. When they slip through the cracks, they appear in this lower realm."

Then as if the system had remembered something, it added, "Only artifacts that are at the same level as this lower realm will slip through the cracks and appear in this place. If they are higher, the world barrier will prevent them from falling in the cracks and appearing here."

I was completely overwhelmed by the information that the system gave me.

After all, the scope of the information was just too much for someone like me who was only currently at the level of this lower realm.

I had no idea just how far away the different realms were from each other, but there was no doubt that this would be a large distance. After all, if it was short, then those that could fly and control laws would be able to go to the different realms.

So it wasn’t as if just anyone could go from realm to realm.

After thinking about it for a bit, I suddenly stopped looking around at the rocks and started moving forward again.
