Wasting Money to Become an Immortal-Chapter 447: Childhood friends

WIth that matter settled, it seemed like I was able to go back to spending money.

I had gotten distracted since I was pulled into this prodigal battle with Young Master Yu, but the main reason that I had come today was to act like a prodigal and waste as much money as possible.

After all, I wanted to waste money so I could get points from the system and become stronger.

There was this voice that suddenly rang out after Young Master Yu submitted to me.

I looked over to see that it was the other customer that had been on this second floor.

This customer had been watching on the side the entire time without making a sound.

It was almost as if they were peeping with the way that they stood there silently.

However, it seemed that this person wasn’t a bad person.

After all, Mu Bao Bao responded to this person.

"Big Sister Fan, stop teasing me."

With the way that she addressed this person, it seemed like they knew each other and they seemed to be quite close with one another. It was completely different from the way that she acted around Young Master Yu.

But then again, one was a woman and the other was a man.

So it wasn’t strange that Mu Bao Bao would prefer one to the other.

The one that she called Big Sister Fan was a beautiful young miss, though she wasn’t as beautiful as Mu Bao Bao or Liu Ao Xue. Still, she was beautiful enough that she would be able to turn heads just by walking down the street.

After talking for a bit, the girl called Big Sister Fan turned to look at me before saying to Mu Bao Bao, "Aren’t you going to introduce us?"

Mu Bao Bao quickly gave a nod before turning over to say, "This is Big Sister Fan, Fan Xiao Yu. She’s from the Fan Family, one of the four ducal families of our Nine Tails Empire and my childhood friend."

The way that she introduced this Big Sister Fan was also different from how she introduced Young Master Yu.

It really made Young Master Yu’s face sting even though no one touched him.

It was as if he had been slapped by her words.

After the introductions were over, Big Sister Fan walked over to me and said with a smile, "Thank you for taking care of Bao Bao when she ran off. I’m sure that it hasn’t been easy for you."

I just gave a casual nod without saying anything.

That was because...I didn’t like the feeling that I got from this Big Sister Fan.

The feeling that I got from her was similar to a feeling that I had gotten back on Earth.

As a super prodigal, I had naturally been with many different women before and I knew what kind of women there were. The feeling that this Big Sister Fan gave me was the kind of woman that I didn’t like.

I knew what kind of thoughts this kind of woman had and what kind of things she was capable of.

That was why I didn’t like this kind of woman.

Since Big Sister Fan was giving off this kind of aura, I naturally kept up my guard around her.

Big Sister Fan seemed a bit surprised by the cold shoulder that I gave her, but then she said with a smile, "Young Master Lin, is there a need to be this shy? I don’t bite."

I calmly looked at her and said, "Young Miss Fan, we’re just here to do some simple shopping. Perhaps we can talk next time."

Big Sister Fan was completely taken aback when she heard this.

She even had to look at me as if she was trying to figure out if I was being serious or not.

But I didn’t care what she thought since I knew what kind of person she was.

With a nod, I turned back to the manager and said, "Are there any other items for sale here?"

The manager was surprised to hear me call her, but she quickly came back to her senses and started showing off more goods.

I just simply took Liu Ao Xue’s hand and moved over to where the manager was.

Big Sister Fan just looked at me in shock as if she couldn’t believe what was happening.

But it didn’t seem like she gave up as she walked over to us and leaned in as if she wanted to grab my arm. Only before she could touch me, I decisively moved out of the way so that she would fall past me.

Big Sister Fan wasn’t weak enough that she would fall to the ground, but she was certainly taken aback that I would dodge out of the way like this.

Mu Bao Bao had been watching silently with slightly knitted brows.

She had been silent as if she wanted to see how this would go, but she couldn’t hold back anymore as she came forward to say something.

Before she could, I said to her, "Bao Bao, come here and help us pick something for your Big Sister Liu."

Mu Bao Bao looked at me with a surprised look, but seeing the way that I looked at her, she slowly gave a nod even if there was a trace of unwillingness on her face. She walked over to where we were and when she passed Big Sister Fan, she looked at her with an apologetic look, but she didn’t say anything else.

Big Sister Fan bit her lip when she saw this, but she didn’t push the issue since she knew that it was already too late to do that.

But the way that she looked at me...
