Seeing her like this, I really couldn’t help feeling worried about her.

So with a cough, I said, "Li Zi, it’s not all about money you know. You shouldn’t be too greedy."

Lin Li Zi was surprised to hear this before looking down at her own hands that she was rubbing. Seeing the way that her hands had been, she couldn’t help revealing an awkward look before giving a nod in response.

Then she said, "Big brother is right, I’ve completely lost myself in the money that I was making."

With a sigh, she added, "It’s just that big brother keeps wasting all of his money that I’m worried about our future. I wanted to earn as much as I could so we could be safe in the future and not have to worry about anything, but big brother keeps wasting even more money..."

Liu Ao Xue looked at Lin Li Zi with a look of sympathy and went over to pat her on the shoulder.

When she saw this, Lin Li Zi went forward into Liu Ao Xue’s embrace to Liu Ao Xue’s surprise, but she didn’t reject it.

After what had happened with her father and the ’betrothal’ gift, Liu Ao Xue had completely mellowed out and even started treating Lin Li Zi like she was her sister. It was as if she had come to terms with something and had accepted it as a fact.

Lin Li Zi slowly revealed a happy smile as she was being hugged by Liu Ao Xue.

Elder Tian nodded in agreement before looking off in certain directions.

It was most likely the others that were here trying to take our stuff from us.

It was Elder Tian who noticed it as the strongest member of our group.

He narrowed his eyes to look at the headquarters of the Breaking Fist Sect before saying, "This is a bit troublesome."

We all looked at Elder Tian with a confused look before he explained, "There’s a barrier around the Breaking Fist Sect and it’s not a normal barrier. This barrier seems like it’ll even be troublesome for me to deal with."

The others might not be as surprised, but Liu Ao Xue was definitely surprised since she knew just how strong Elder Tian was.

If even Elder Tian was admitting that this barrier was hard to deal with, then it must really be a special barrier.

After a moment of silence, Liu Ao Xue asked, "Can you still break it though?"

Elder Tian didn’t respond right away, but he eventually gave a nod of agreement.
