_______________

"Let's see what is on the other side, this should be interesting."

Asmodeus announces as he steps into the depths of the cave and to his surprise, the anomalous properties of the cave entrance began to show themselves right away.

And upon doing that he was memorized by sight before him.

After putting one foot into the unknown, which is the gateway to Eden, a whole new world was been presented to him in all its glory.

The mere sight of the beautiful mythological paradise, the first home of humanity, was so mesmerizing it waver his heart ever so slightly.

To explain the ethereal beauty of this paradise called Eden.

Would be impossible in every meaning of the word, it was one of those things one would need to see up close to believe, it was truly a dream or heaven taking physical form, a place of fantasy, and miraculous heaven.

"So...So... This is Eden?!"

Asmodeus shouted out in surprise because before him was a giant river that seems to flow for eternity, as heads for the horizon.

The entire place was filled with giant trees that were as tall as modern-day skyscrapers, and compared to the normal greenery one would have expected from this place, it was filled with many varieties of trees and plants of various shapes, sizes, and colors.

And seeing that the gateway led to a random place upon entering Eden, Asmodeus was transported at a high altitude, the benefit of this was of course the beautiful sight before him.

However, that peace would soon be disturbed when he heard an inhumane sound behind him.

**Greajjajjaaakks!**

At this sudden sound, Asmodeus slowly turn around to be greeted by the ugliest thing he has ever seen in his life, it was a giant bird, it had the shape of an eagle however it had no feathers, but it had wings, and the wings of a bat nonetheless.

On the left side were three pairs of giant bat-like wings, and on the right was a single bat-like wing, the beast itself was easily over fifteen meters, and it had giant talons that were disfigured, the entire beast was fleshy in appearance.

The talons also had hundreds of long spikey silver tendrils coming out of them, all reaching a length of twenty meters, and on a portion of its body it had black fur slowly growing over it, meanwhile however despite having a head of an owl, the beast had no eyes, but it had layers of sharp teeth presenting itself.

It seems it could see everything, despite not having eyes.

Not in the traditional sense that is, because when Asmodeus look at it, he felt as if he was being watched all over, even from within, it gave him a disgusting feeling.

One so horrendous it awakens a serious urge to murder this creature, no he felt as if he had to kill this thing no question ask, the impulse was getting stronger, and his hate was getting even more furious.

What was happening to him he wondered.

However, it wasn't long before Asmodeus succumb to his murderous impulses for the thing before him.

"AHGGGGG... DIIIIIIEEEEE!!!...

At that moment, Asmodeus subconsciously blackout, as his reason dissipated, and all that filled his mind was an uncontrollable bloodlust, along with the urge to murder this entire species for some unknown reason.

And before he knew it, his horn elongated, and his clothes faded as a red suit of armor appears around him as if preparing for battle, his beautiful red wings spread for all to see, while his teeth became as sharp as Ophis shark teeth and a murderous smile presented itself for all to see.

It was symbolic of the immense glee he felt from within.

Asmodeus was happy, that he gets the honor of purging the world of this horrendous creature.

Right now, right here, was the most joyous moment of his life, his claws sharpen, his sense heightens, and just like Lilith, he took a form that was completely foreign to him as his entire skin turned crimson red and an extra pair of eyes opened up below his top ones giving him a total of four eyes.

And right after he looks at the mysterious abomination before him, a single chain or theme of thoughts was flooding his mind in sadistic glee.

'Disgusting, filthy, pathetic, unnatural, despicable, horrendous creation.'

'Murder... Kill... TEAR... BURNN... BURNN... SLICE... DEVOUR... DESTROY THEM ALL... THIS WORLD SHALL BE CLEANSED OF YOUR KIND... HahHaahababAAAKYAHAhaAHhahaaaa!!!..

Within the mind of Asmodeus, was nothing more but a twisted circus of bloodlust and killing intent for another life like no other he has ever experienced before.

As he began to laugh to himself

The pure killing intent was so strong that many mystics hiding within this beautiful paradise known as Eden began to run in fear for their lives as if something even more monstrous than them enter their world, and their playground.

The earth below began to shake as a giant stampede was happening, of course, this all happen due to Asmodeus killing intent reaching levels like never seen before. free𝚠𝚎𝚋𝒏𝚘ѵ𝐞l.𝑐om

His bloodthirsty eyes landed on the creature, and for the first time in its short life, it caused the abomination of a bird to tremble in fear as it step back.

It could not see, nor could it hear, however, it had a strong sense of smell, and also a sixth sense that allows it to see the life force of others, you can say it could even see the soul of others as well, and what it saw was something incompressible, a wall, a giant wall of life force standing in front of it taking an abstract form beyond its understanding.

A wall, yes a wall was all it could think of, seeing the share size of the soul.

This caught the creature's interest because the being or the thing before it had such an immense life force it blinded all other life forces in its presence, leaving just it in its sight, it must have it, it must be devoured was what it thought.

However, its method of hunting down the being with such a scrumptious life force failed it, and horribly at that, because all of a sudden the life force disappear, even the life force of the other living preys around it disappeared before its unique view.

It was dark, it was truly dark, it was scared, it was... It was... going to die, it didn't want to die, not but by the unknown thing that it made a mistake at looking at.

Yes, the creature just want to live, it needed to live, after all, it had just been born into this world recently, and not even a week had passed since then either.

It flaps its wing, it couldn't fly, shit it couldn't fly, Mother didn't teach it how to fly, no it was too young.

The smell is slowly approaching, death was near, and the end was near.

Down, it remembers down below was freedom, however high on a tree, too high on the tree, death even in escape, it couldn't chip loud enough for the mother to come.

However, in attempts, it tried either way.

**Greajjajjaaakkkkks!**

**Greajjajajaajjaaakks!**

**G..G...Gre...Gereajjajjaaakks!**

However, upon chirping no response came, meaning the creature's mother was too far away to hear its please, the nest, its sanctuary, would become its grave.

The beast could not escape however something twisted came to its mind.

'Free... Itself.'

Yes, it would rather die on its terms than die by this thing that was slowly approaching it, feasting on its torment, and with great joy, the young abomination jump off of the great tree and landed on the ground wings broken, bones broken, flesh torn apart, organs damage, and much more happen won't as its fall, and to confirm its death, fell right into the tsunami of mystics.

Some were even bigger than themselves, crushing it into a puddle of blood, and like that creature ironically met its end.

And after its death, Asmodeus suddenly became aware of it once again, as he instantly revert to his original form.

He looks around to find himself in a giant bird's nest made of bones, and rotten flesh, as also they're we're human remains, and other mystic remains in the nest.

Instantly Asmodeus questions.

"What the hell happen?"

And for the first in a while, Asmodeus hear the voice of Lilith as she said.

『It would appear you ran into ?ntihar』

"Haaa Lilith is that you?"

『The one and only, why did you miss me?』

"I would be lying if I say I didn't, but your company was indeed missed, so please tell me what the hell is an ?ntihar, and what happened to me?"

『An ?ntihar is an air type of Mystic however they are extremely dangerous, in Eden, they would rank as C-Rank monsters, however, what makes them dangerous is their racial ability to invoke suicidal impulses on their prey, and when their prey kill themselves all the prey life force is transferred to them, they also enjoy the taste of raw flesh of any living creatures, you, however, got lucky, you where saved by Adaptive immortality as your life was threatened』

"Haaa... I see what a horrendous creature, so that bloodlust I felt, was Rize Adaptive immortality, what did it do this time."

『You now can counter the menacing abilities of the ?ntihar, so when they invoke suicidal impulses in you, it does the opposite instead it makes you hateful of their existence, to the point you can't rest until all ?ntihar within your sight is dead, although the killing intent that is boosted, cause them to go mad to point of sever Paranoia that ironically makes them kill themselves before you can get it done』

This shocked Asmodeus so much that he had to ask.

"Say what now?"
