Yang Hao and Jiang Chenxue reached the main city, which was also where Yang Hao decided to stay for a while. He had one Liquid Drop, meaning he was at the 7th Stage of the Mortal Elemental realm. However, it was only one drop—he needed at least nine drops before he could begin his journey as an alchemist.
However, that was not his main focus. His priority was to find a place to stay, explore the city, understand his surroundings, and then find the fastest way to cultivate.
After arriving in the Unified City of the Unified State, he thought it would be time to part ways with Jiang Chenxue.
He turned to Jiang Chenxue, expecting to part ways after their long journey. "I guess this is where we split up," he said, adjusting his bag.
But she surprised him with a smile. "If you want, you can stay at my house."
Yang Hao paused, thinking it over. He had spent over a week with her, and her presence felt familiar, safe. After a moment, he nodded. "Okay, I'll stay."
Jiang Chenxue led him through the crowded streets. They reached a grand house tucked behind a high wall, its wooden doors carved with intricate patterns. When they stepped inside, Yang Hao stopped short, stunned. The place was massive—wide halls lined with polished floors, high ceilings, and rooms branching off in every direction. He hadn't expected her to live in such a place.
"I live alone, so you won't find anyone else here," she said, "There are many rooms, so choose any room you like. But the first room on the ground floor is mine—that room is off-limits."
Yang Hao nodded, taking it in.
"You're still a mortal, so you need food to eat," she added. "You can either hire a maid or cook for yourself."
He nodded again, understanding the arrangement.
They chatted for a while. Jiang Chenxue shared a few tips about cities before heading to her room. Yang Hao picked a room far from hers, a simple space with a wooden table, a bed with a thin mattress, and a small cabinet. He dropped his bag, pulling out his clothes and a pouch of gold coins, stashing them in the cabinet. The day had been long, and the house was quiet as he settled in.
That night, he wasn't feeling sleepy, and he had no mood to cultivate. Yu Ruyi suggest him to go out walk, since he was alone and in the new place, he must be feeling homesick or little bit of lonely. It was first time he was away from his father and the place home. So he was still not used to this new change.
The moon hung high, casting silver light over the courtyard. As he stepped into the cool air, a figure caught his eye near the back of the house.
It was Jiang Chenxue, her body glistening with water that clung to her skin. She wore a thin white robe, soaked through and transparent, revealing the full, luscious curves of her breasts, the gentle swell of her hips, and the long, smooth lines of her thighs.
The fabric molded to her like a second skin, every contour of her body on display—except around her nipples and the delicate area between her legs, where the robe's design artfully concealed, leaving just enough to the imagination to stoke a fevered desire. Her golden hair dripped, strands plastered against her neck and chest, water trailing down in rivulets that caught the moonlight, accentuating her ethereal beauty.
Yang Hao's breath caught, his eyes locked on her, a wave of heat surging through him as attraction ignited deep within.
Jiang Chenxue turned, noticing him, and a soft chuckle escaped her lips. She showed no embarrassment at being seen like this, "There's a hot spring here, you know," she said, "If you want, you can soak in it later." With a smile, she turned and headed back inside, her wet robe swaying with each step, leaving Yang Hao standing there, heart pounding, the image of her burned into his mind.
Thet night, he wasn't able to sleep.

The next morning, Yang Hao was person with an empty stomach, having eaten nothing the day before. He headed to the kitchen, planning to make breakfast. There, he found Jiang Chenxue, already busy. She wore a fitted apron over a soft blue dress, her golden hair tied back, curves accentuated, exuding warmth.
She turned, a plate of steaming meat dishes in hand, "Oh, wake up?" She said as she placed the plates on the table, "I figured you hadn't eaten yesterday," she said, "So this is for you. But from now on, you'll need to manage it yourself. Maybe get a maid to handle chores so you can focus on cultivation."
Yang Hao nodded, taking a seat, "Thanks... this smell good," he said.
After he eat, he found that meat was really tasty, and he praised her
Jiang Chenxue didn't show it, but his praise brought a quiet joy to her eyes. "Consider the maid," she added, turning back, left him there.
