White Online-Chapter 697: Black.
Smack, smack, smack!
Aether flashed across the sky with blinding speed as he was chasing after Beelzebub. The sky flashed with blinding light as one winged creature was quickly moving out of the way of the attacks.
Swoosh!
Then, a beautiful golden light appeared before Beelzebub, forcing him to stop in his tracks. From a golden light, Aether appeared with his arms clad in golden light.
A golden light exploded out of his arms, and moved with lightspeed towards Beelzebub. The winged demon's transparent wings flapped, and he quickly moved out of the way, then appeared behind Aether.
Swoosh!
Beelzebub's arm tore through the golden light as Aether's body disappeared into light and soon appeared right above the demon. His left leg glowed in golden light, and then he kicked the empty air as Beelzebub vanished into nothingness, leaving behind only a wind breeze.
'He is too fast.' Aether again disappeared into a golden flash and chased after Beelzebub. Their speed was blinding. There was no one who could keep track of them, not even Lycanhowl, who was terrorizing the army below with his insane speed.
"Die, die, die!" Lycanhowl ripped through the bodies of unassuming soldiers with his entire body clad in blood. His fingers slashed through the throats, and his body ran through the sea of people, leaving behind mutilated corpses.
"Wohohoohoho!" Lycanhowl jumped with excitement as he arrived at Legacy Company's headquarters. His eyes glowed with a dangerous hue, but then a fist landed on his cheek, sending him flying through a wall.
A silver lightning appeared in front of the tall skyscraper, revealing Xerxus wearing his tracksuit. Then, behind him, appeared a bolt of golden lightning belonging to Noelle. They shared glances before turning to face the fallen Lycanhowl.
"Hmm, the speed." Lycanhowl sat up and looked at the two speedsters with a silly grin. "Mediocre."
With a flash of speed, Lycanhowl appeared before Xerxus and pushed him through the several rows of buildings.
Xerxus coughed up blood and soon crashed into a rock wall with Lycanhowl's palms digging into his skin. He was running nonstop while pushing Xerxus through the wall!
"Get off him!" Noelle appeared with a golden lightning trail following behind her. She smacked Lycanhowl, but he didn't even flinch.
"Two is better than one!" Lycanhowl grabbed Noelle by her hair and ran through the wall, dragging the two speedsters behind him. He ran across the land, leaving only burned ground behind in his wake. He soon noticed the black dome, realized that he couldn't run through it, and immediately did a U-turn before running back to the White Paradise.
Xerxus' body bounced up and down on the ground while Noelle's scream reverberated through the air. Her hair was being ripped from her scalp by Lycanhowl's deadly grip.
Swoosh!
Then, a black-shafted spear flew through the air, skewering Lycanhowl through his chest and leaving behind a bloody hole.
The spear landed on the ground a dozen meters away, and it happened to be the famous Gungnir!
Xerxus and Noelle escaped Lycanhowl's grip and quickly ran back into the White Paradise. They only stopped when they were far enough from the demon to react if he planned to attack them.
"Who helped us?" Noelle asked while looking across the rooftops. They noticed the spear but couldn't catch a glimpse of it properly to see whose spear it was. Xerxus shook his head but had a hunch.
Lycanhowl staggered with blood gushing out of his chest. He was trembling in a surprising amount of pain.
The Gungnir trembled inside the ground before flying out to the sky and landing on the hand of Kalzer, who stood on top of the grayish walls.
He looked down at Lycanhowl and let out a quiet chuckle. His grip on the spear tightened, then he jumped down the wall and rushed towards the speedster demon.
...
Bang! Bang!
The bullets shredded through the bodies of Inhumans as they were clad in some kind of black smoke, that deteriorated the bodies of everyone who got hit and then slowly killed them.
The man who wielded dual revolvers had a dirty face and a thick black beard. His laugh reverberated in the air while his fingers pulled the triggers, killing another group of soldiers.
He was part of the Legion of Evil, Blackbeard!
"Stop your heinous deeds, Blackbeard!" An angry Archangel rushed through the streets. He was Uriel and had known Blackbeard for several decades. He'd been trying to change his ways and get him to join their side. However, it was of no use. He was pure evil, with no humanity left.
"Then try to stop me!" Blackbeard laughed with his crisp voice and fired the bullets at Uriel. The white-winged Archangel smashed his mace through the bullets and then unfurled his wings and hurled forward while sending a kick towards the black-bearded man's face.
"Pure Black!" Blackbeard caught the leg with black smoke emitting from his hand. Uriel shuddered as the black smoke felt immensely cold. Blackbeard then smashed Uriel against the pavement before flinging him across the street.
Uriel clumsily stabilized him and used his wings to hover meters above the ground. He then flew upward before turning around and flying back to Blackbeard.
"Black Fist!" Blackbeard grinned, kicked the pavement, and leaped through the air. He took Uriel completely off guard. His black-smoked arm then smashed through Uriel's stomach. All the air left his lungs, making him gasp greedily for air as he started having difficulties breathing. Then he slowly fell to the ground.
Blackbeard landed beside Uriel, placed his feet against his neck, and pressed hard. Uriel's eyes bulged before exploding, and the rest of his body turned limp. Blackbeard then twisted his neck, breaking it, and finally killing off the Archangel.
"Death Party!" Blackbeard unleashed his another move and this time, he slammed his fist against the ground and injected the pavement with strange black mist. Everyone in White Paradise streets suddenly felt their bodies turning limp and sluggish.
They started falling one after another.
"Kahahahahahaha!" Blackbeard laughed madly as people died everywhere around him. He didn't care whether they were humans, demons, or gods. They were nothing but bags of meat.
