Humans are creatures that grow tired of the old and crave the new. Even if they hold something they really like now, over time, they may gradually lose fascination with it.

On the other hand, when they acquire something new and exciting, they will play with it enthusiastically until all their passion is drained.

Like Luluwo and their party right now.

"Release Chaos Fireball! Then follow up with Chaos Fireball, and then release Chaos Fireball again..."

After leaving the White Spider's abode, the Skyrim Strategy Group essentially bombarded their way out, and even now, they're still repeating the newly acquired [Chaos Fireball].

After all, having just mastered this magic and with the learning bonus effect from the [Chaos Servant] oath, every time Luluwo and their group use the Chaos Fireball, their understanding of the spell genuinely increases.

As long as they practice, they can improve, and their progress is crystal clear, just like watching a progress bar advance.

When effort really pays off, these things become more addictive than eating, drinking, and playing.

Besides these factors, another reason why the Skyrim Strategy Group turned into a Chaos Fireball playing machine is that the feel of it is just too satisfying.

People rarely use "good feel" to describe a magic spell, but that's exactly what they experienced here.

Holding the Chaos Fireball feels just right—heavy enough to feel substantial but not so heavy as to be tiring. When thrown, it explodes on the enemy with a "boom," sending magma scattering everywhere.

The tactile and visual impact are both overwhelmingly satisfying!

Magics that appear simple yet are very functional are always the most popular!

As a result, people no longer have any resistance to the "Chaos Servant" oath's unattractive name. Instead, they wonder if they could get more satisfying spells by offering more humanity.

Correction, it's not magic but sorcery, as people couldn't help but get their words mixed up.

Originally, they didn't plan to linger, wanting to rush back to the Fire Transmission Ceremony as quickly as possible, and then take the familiar route to Sain Ancient City for a brief visit, before leaving the Dungeon and heading back to rest.

However, the discoveries they made along the way inadvertently slowed them down.

Fingerley had been wondering if any changes would happen in the Sain Dungeon after ringing the two bells, and indeed, changes did occur.

The residents of the Sick Village, of varying heights and sizes, no longer attacked them upon sight. Instead, they would let out a ghostly shriek and hide nearby, unless provoked into attacking, they wouldn't lift a weapon.

And those creatures infected by chaos reacted even more drastically. Upon seeing Luluwo and the group, some would just drop dead pretending to play possum, while others even dared to approach and befriend them. Ignoring their twisted appearances, their behavior seemed no different from those overly familiar wild Pokemon.

The Sick Village residents' fear was understandable, but people couldn't figure out the response of these monsters.

"Is it possible that these monsters are related to chaos, and now that you've taken the Chaos Servant oath, their attitude has changed?" Fingerley speculated.

The speculation proved correct, as Fingerley, not being a Chaos Servant, was immediately attacked by monsters when he separated from the group, but everything was calm when he returned.

The Chaos Servant oath actually had such an effect!

Luluwo felt like they were back in Yanor Londo. The monsters' reactions were eerily similar to those of the Silver Knight back then.

In a way, this change was quite rewarding.

The sense of achievement was different from receiving a salute from the Silver Knight; the terrified villagers gave adventurers a more violent sense of accomplishment, like they were the most notorious bully in the village, dominating and oppressing everyone!

Walking out of the Sick Village with their heads held high and arms swinging confidently, Luluwo and Fingerley looked radiant, their vanity fully satisfied.

"That was thrilling!"

The two who enjoyed it the most exchanged a knowing smile, unable to suppress their grins, even remembering sad events couldn't dampen their spirits, and Fingerley even scratched his head sheepishly.

This brilliant smile lasted until they reached the entrance of Sain Ancient City.

"Whoa, what a strong aura of ominousness."

Standing with hands on hips in front of Sain Ancient City's gate, Luluwo couldn't help but exclaim.

When that massive iron door finally rose, an unceasing cold wind blew from inside Sain Ancient City, chilling everyone at the gate to the bone, as if the vengeful spirits of those who died there clung to their throats, making it hard to breathe if they stood there too long.

In normal circumstances, exploring this place would've put serious expressions on people's faces.

But it's different right now; they had just defeated the Chaos Witch! Having just beaten such a formidable foe, a bit of pride is justified, isn't it?

Though pride they had, their seasoned adventurer skills ensured they wouldn't perish like some amateur.

"First, the Lighting Technique; it's quite dark in there. Everyone should have at least one floating light source for illumination."
