After Alister killed Delia, his "60 seconds of power" hasn't run out yet. So, he glared at Takahashi Ken and Nikui Noroi and was about to kill them.

Seeing through Alister's intention, Brandyn yelled, "Chaos Hero, wait!"

Despite Brandyn's yelling, Alister didn't stop and he used the mana pressure of his chaos mana to kill Takahashi Ken and Nikui Noroi. His chaos mana not only destroyed their body, but it also wiped out their soul from existence.

"Sir Brandyn, leaving those two trashes alive will only harm us heroes and even the world. With how those two colluded with a demon general, they can no longer be trusted."

Hearing Alister's explanation, the rest of the heroes agreed.

As heroes, they were tasked to defeat the Demon King so the rest of the heroes weren't naive enough to forgive Takahashi Ken and Nikui Noroi who betrayed humanity and colluded with a demon general.

Like Alister and the rest of the heroes, Brandyn didn't forgive the Sword Hero and the Curse Hero since they betrayed humanity and colluded with the demons. However, Brandyn knew that humanity wasn't united and the king and the pope were involved in a political war.

They would likely make a big deal out of this and put the blame on either him or Alister and that's what Brandyn wanted to prevent.

Before Brandyn could explain his side on this matter, Alister interjected, "I know what you mean. If the king and the pope dared to make a big deal out of this matter, I'll let you know that I still have 4o seconds of my power."

As if to prove his words, Alister deactivated his so-called "trump card" before his 60-second time had run out.

Brandyn asked in confusion after witnessing Alister deactivate his trump card, "Didn't you say you can only use this trump card of yours once per day?"

Hearing Brandyn's question, Alister replied, "Yes, I can only use it once per day with a duration of 60 seconds. But I didn't say I can't deactivate and use my 60 seconds of power whenever I want."

"You only need to know that my power works just because I want it to work. If I want to deactivate my 60-second Grand Mage power and use it later, I can."

Alister explained the absurdity of his power as the Chaos Hero.

Hearing Alister's reply, Brandyn was no longer worried since, in this world, power was what mattered the most.

There were only two grand-level powerhouses in the human race but that was excluding the ancient human powerhouses who were currently in slumber under the holy church. Of course, Brandyn was unaware of those ancient human powerhouses but on the bright side, there were only two grand-level powerhouses.

So with Alister's temporary Grand Mage power, even the king and the pope wouldn't want to mess with Alister unless those two had screws loose in their heads.

After Alister showed off his power, not only Brandyn but even the hero party recognized Alister's power. They felt that it was quite assuring to have a powerful teammate on their side.

'It seems that I don't have to eliminate all of the heroes. Only the Curse Hero and the Sword Hero were the ones who had led the rest of the heroes astray.'

'Especially Toshokan Hondana, that introvert had already valued me as his only friend so even if I betrayed the kingdom or even humanity, that guy would undoubtedly join my side.'

Having that thought in mind, Alister no longer planned to kill the rest of the heroes but instead, he planned to lure them to his side.

Although those heroes aside from himself were under the control of Fantasia, Alister was still confident that he could negate the control of Fantasia over those heroes as long as he became a god.

Furthermore, as long as he unblocked the path of godhood in this world, he could have the heroes either follow him to the god realm or assist Zanna in managing this world.

Whichever plan he had in mind for those heroes, sparing the lives of the heroes would bring him more benefits than downright killing them.

With that in mind, Alister, Brandyn, and the hero party left Nikui Noroi's room.

Due to the incident of Nikui Noroi and Takahashi Ken's betrayal, the training was canceled and Brandyn left in a hurry to report the incident to the king.

On the other hand, the heroes were pretty much free so they went to explore the kingdom. They were already given pocket money by the king so all of the heroes headed to the capital city of Henea Kingdom.

Alister led the heroes to the city since he was familiar with everything within it. So even when the king had suggested bringing a guide with them, Alister had insisted that they didn't need a guide.

Not only Alister, but the smarter ones among the heroes knew that the so-called guide was just a spy used by the king to report what they'd been doing.

Alister had used the same excuse of his Unpredictable Chaos Authority that allowed him to know what he wanted to know so the king couldn't insist on letting them explore the city with a guide.

Although, that didn't prevent the king from having someone secretly spy on them from far away. However, Alister and the rest of the heroes knew that they couldn't deal with the spy unless they wanted to go against the kingdom. Because of that, they turned a blind eye to it and focused more on enjoying their tour around the capital city of Henea Kingdom.

With their tour around the capital city, the heroes discovered the corruption and slavery within the kingdom which disgusted them. It was going all according to Alister's plan and the heroes weren't docile towards the kingdom anymore.
