{Chapter: 242 Transformed T Cells I}
Odin gazed solemnly at William, who lay unconscious and unmoving upon the stone floor. His cape shifted gently in the breeze, but his expression remained unreadable. "It's over," he declared in a grave voice. "The battle has ended. Yet, what a tragic waste... The Glossary of Flow Pill is lost to us now. The alchemist who created it lies dead, and with his death, the knowledge required to craft such a miracle may be gone forever. What a terrible pity."
At those words, murmurs rippled through the assembled warriors, some of them exchanging uneasy glances.
Sif stood silently among them, her gaze fixed on the motionless figure of William. A strange expression flickered across her usually resolute face. She had expected to feel triumphant—to revel in this moment. And yet... there was no satisfaction in her heart. No joy. Instead, there was an unfamiliar weight, a vague sense of sorrow that she couldn't quite name. Why? she asked herself. Why am I not relieved that he's dead?
Suddenly, a voice rang out above the silence: "Long live Asgard! Long live the All-Father!"
The cheer caught like wildfire, and soon the air was filled with triumphant shouts and raised weapons. "Long live Asgard! Long live Asgard!"
The chant echoed across the golden spires and celestial bridges of the realm.
With a stern gesture, Odin raised a single hand. The crowd obeyed instantly, silencing their cries in reverence for their king.
"Bring me the body of the mortal," Odin commanded, his voice firm but controlled. "Though he lies still, his corpse remains intact. That alone means the essence of the Glossary of Flow Pill has not yet been fully expelled. The power may still reside within his flesh. Extract it at once."
"Yes, Your Majesty!" a group of elite warriors clad in gleaming armor responded. They stepped forward without hesitation, heading toward William's prone form with both urgency and caution.
But within William's body, a phenomenon unseen to the outside world was already in motion—a transformation that defied all conventional understanding.
Deep inside his cells, a storm of activity raged. Intense cellular movement coursed through every fiber of his being as golden energy surged violently through his bloodstream and marrow. It was no longer merely a power—it had become a living force, flowing like molten gold through his veins.
This golden energy began to intermingle with his T-cells and meta-cells, each cell type distinct in nature and origin. The T-cells, brilliant in their elemental cores, met with the metamorphic meta-cells in a chaotic convergence. It was as though two rival schools of fish had been cast into the same river, darting and colliding, each seeking escape, yet trapped within a common current.
The golden energy acted like an irresistible tide, forcing the two schools to merge. Despite their resistance, despite their efforts to remain apart, the cells were pressed together, compressed into unnatural unions.
What followed was a cellular revolution. The golden energy, potent and unrelenting, began to pierce the protective membranes of each cell. The meta-cells and T-cells resisted as best they could, attempting to expel the foreign force—but there was too much of it. No matter how much was pushed out, more surged back in, flooding their defenses.
From the outside, nothing changed. William lay there, inert. But inside, evolution was taking place.
The color of the cells began to change. The once silver hue of the meta-cells turned to radiant gold. The deep purple T-cells shimmered, then shifted, becoming gold as well. Their identities became indistinguishable—merged by the relentless golden tide. But while the outer appearances melded into one, the core of each cell remained unique. The meta-cells still housed their signature deformed element nuclei, while the T-cells contained their five-pronged elemental signatures: wind, fire, water, earth, and ice.
Then, as if driven by some hidden directive, the fused cells began to rotate. Faster and faster, they spun, blending together in a cyclone of golden brilliance. It was as though they had been cast into a celestial blender, reshaped by chaos.
When the motion ceased, a new type of cell emerged—larger, denser, and pulsing with energy. These cells were nearly three times the size of the originals. They bore traits of both T-cells and meta-cells, yet they were something new entirely.
No longer separate, no longer in conflict. A fusion of power and potential. A new kind of life.
Perhaps, the All-Father might one day say, they should be called Morphic T-cells.
And still, the warriors approached, unaware that William was no longer the same man who had collapsed moments ago. The Glossary of Flow Pill had not been wasted—it had merely begun its work.
The newly-formed morphed T-cells had already dispersed throughout William's body, flowing seamlessly from his blood and bones into every nerve, muscle, and organ. These cells pulsed with golden energy, their luminous brilliance weaving through his veins like molten sunlight. Every corner of his body now pulsed with power—controlled, refined, and yet terrifying in its potential.
Three Asgardian warriors approached his seemingly lifeless form with caution. Their armor clinked softly with each step, and their expressions were focused but alert. One warrior reached down to grab William by the ankle, while another bent to seize his wrist. The third stood ready to help lift the human's body, fully intent on hauling it away for further examination.
They hadn't expected what came next.
"Trying to study my body? I'm flattered, but I don't swing that way," came a casual voice that rang out loud and clear.
The words were spoken in jest, but their source was a miracle. Every warrior nearby froze, eyes snapping wide open, jaws dropping in disbelief.
"H-He's alive?!"
All heads turned toward the source of the voice. William's eyes had opened—burning with a fierce golden light that blazed like miniature suns. His once-dark pupils had turned completely golden, glowing with raw, otherworldly power. Then, with no warning, an invisible surge of telekinetic force exploded outward from his body, aimed directly at the three warriors.
"AAAGH—!" they screamed in unison as the force smashed into them like a battering ram. Blood sprayed from their mouths as their bodies were flung backward. But they didn't land. Mid-air, they exploded—reduced to clouds of blood and chunks of flesh that rained down in a gory spectacle.
