X-ray Eyes Little Wild Doctor-Chapter 134 - 129: The Great Battle Underneath the Group’s Building
Chapter 134: Chapter 129: The Great Battle Underneath the Group’s Building
It’s just a few small companies that lend money at high interest rates and a couple of small bars. I couldn’t care less about that petty cash, but I’ve got the score etched in my brain.
"Wang Qian, you damn bastard, you just wait, I, Wang Bingbing, will make you regret this!" Wang Bingbing raged uncontrollably.
Her eyes were filled with menacing fury.
Before, Wang Qian dared not openly declare war; he only attempted a few assassinations, all of which she dodged. Now he had the nerve to confront her directly. If she didn’t get her revenge, she, the Ice Snow Queen, would have been making a name for herself for nothing.
As the Infiniti hurried towards Dihao Building, the Hungry Wolf’s SUV was also speeding along.
"The headquarters of the Fire Virtue Gang are in Dongcheng District."
The Hungry Wolf spoke as he drove the SUV onto the expressway, speeding at 100 miles an hour. free𝑤ebnovel.com
"Then let’s head to the Dongcheng District," a devilish gleam flashed in Ye Tian’s eyes.
Ye Tian didn’t care about whatever relationship the Fire Virtue Gang had with the King of Hell; since they dared to target him, there was no room for negotiation, they had to be eradicated.
Judging from the courier’s skills, the strength of the Fire Virtue Gang was not weak. Ye Tian estimated that there must be a top-level expert in the gang. Such an organization could make small disturbances in Jiangcheng City, but challenging him, the King of the Night, was simply overestimating themselves.
Not to mention a top-level expert, even the very best would have to bow down before Ye Tian.
"How much longer until we arrive?" Ye Tian asked.
"At most half an hour," the Hungry Wolf replied respectfully.
The Hungry Wolf had already figured out the location of the Fire Virtue Gang’s headquarters, which was situated in the Dongcheng District. They rarely ventured into the city center, but this time, for some inexplicable reason, they had appeared at Dihao Building to attempt the assassination of Ye Tian, which was practically suicide.
The Hungry Wolf knew Ye Tian was fuming, so he didn’t dare to delay. He drove very quickly, and in less than thirty minutes, they arrived at the headquarters of the Fire Virtue Gang.
It was a European-style villa located in the upper-class neighborhoods of Dongcheng District.
Normally, the brothers of the Fire Virtue Gang would come and go from the villa; the area in front of and behind the villa was always filled with thugs. However, when Ye Tian and the Hungry Wolf arrived, it was eerily quiet, not even a ghost in sight.
"Search!" commanded Ye Tian with a wave of his hand, and his men turned into shadows, commencing a comprehensive search of the villa.
The Hungry Wolf was no idle bystander either, scouring every inch of the villa’s front and back, almost up to digging three feet into the ground.
"No one!"
"Not a single person!"
After a brief search, Ye Tian was somewhat astonished.
The villa was deserted, not even a pet dog in sight.
There was no need for further questions; clearly, the others had caught wind of their arrival and retreated before Ye Tian got there.
"Damn it!" Ye Tian’s frown deepened as he silently pondered.
The Fire Virtue Gang was but a rising faction, certainly not powerful enough to be aware of his movements. Their premature evacuation meant that someone must have tipped them off.
"It must have been the King of Hell," Ye Tian narrowed his eyes: "The old fox, he must not have waited to hear the good news from the courier, deducing the man was already killed by me, and thus he informed the Fire Virtue Gang."
"Master is wise," the Hungry Wolf said respectfully, something he hadn’t thought of himself.
"Stop kissing up to me. Now that we’re here, we can’t leave without making our mark, or they’ll think we’re to be trifled with." As Ye Tian spoke, he walked into the villa’s garage. When he came out, he was holding a can of gasoline.
"You mean to..." the Hungry Wolf immediately gave a thumbs-up with a sly grin.
Both being top-notch masters, they were skilled at foul play; the gasoline was quickly used up. Standing in front of the grand villa, Ye Tian shook his head and sighed, "What a pity, what a pity. A fine house, gone just like that."
Having done what they came for, Ye Tian got into the SUV. The vehicle roared to life and performed a Dragon’s Tail Swing, elegantly and effortlessly righting the direction before charging onto the broad road.
Glancing at the inferno reflected in the rearview mirror, Ye Tian smiled indifferently, "Looks like I’ve got to hassle the firemen. My apologies."
The SUV, like a black panther, dodged left and right on the highway. Even the bold Hungry Wolf couldn’t help but grip the safety handle tightly, thinking the boss’s driving was the real deal; his little stunts were nothing in comparison.
"Master, where are we heading now?" the Hungry Wolf inquired.
"Back to the corporation, of course. I haven’t clocked out yet," Ye Tian said as if it were nothing.
At this moment, Ye Tian had no idea that Yun Corporation had welcomed a group of unwelcome guests.
Over a dozen Infinitis were parked in the underground garage of the Dihao Building. Surrounded by tattooed and fierce-looking henchmen, Wang Bingbing escorted Mr. Hungry Tiger to the Yun Corporation.
Glancing at the logo on the cultural wall of the Yun Corporation, a mocking smile appeared on Wang Bingbing’s lips. The henchmen behind her, all dressed in black suits, arrogantly looked down on others through their nostrils.
Mr. Hungry Tiger, clad in a simple Tang suit, stood quietly to one side. His demeanor clashed with the gangster-like style of the black-suited henchmen, yet he exuded an overwhelming and unstoppable presence.
"May I ask who you are looking for? Do you have an appointment?" The receptionist asked, suppressing the panic in her heart and with politeness.
"An appointment?" Wang Bingbing laughed out loud then said coldly, "I don’t want to waste words with you. Tell Ye Tian to roll out here, or else I’ll destroy your company!"
"Please wait, Ye Tian might not be here; let me make a call to check."
Wang Bingbing sneered, "If I don’t see Ye Tian in ten minutes, you can go die!"
The receptionist had never seen such an imposing group. These people were clearly looking for trouble, and she, shivering in fear, picked up the phone and dialed the security department.
She whispered into the phone, "Hello, this is the lobby downstairs. There’s trouble here, yes, yes, yes. They’ve got a lot of people. Hurry over, or I’m afraid I won’t be able to control it."
The person on the other end of the call was Minister Xiao Feng. Hearing there was trouble downstairs, he immediately rushed down with the security guards. How dare someone come to the corporate headquarters to make trouble—it was like flipping heaven on its head.
Mr. Hungry Tiger gave a detached smile and approached the receptionist, "Little girl, lying is not a good habit. I hope you’ll remember this lesson."
"What, what are you talking about?" The receptionist stammered. Could he have heard her conversation? But that shouldn’t be possible; she had spoken very softly, so how could he have heard her? She didn’t have Sharp-Hearing Ear.
"I don’t kill women, so you’re very lucky." Mr. Hungry Tiger smirked and then gave Wang Bingbing a few instructions. She promptly walked up to the receptionist and, without saying a word, slapped her.
Wang Bingbing spat contemptuously and cursed, "I told you to snitch, believe it or not, I’ll mess up your face?"
The receptionist’s cheek swelled from the slap and she didn’t dare say another word. These people were clearly bandits and there was no reasoning with them.
"What the hell are you doing? Why are you hitting people? You dare to make trouble in our corporation; do you know the consequences?" Xiao Feng charged over.
He had taken his men downstairs after receiving the call, arriving just in time to see the receptionist, Miss Zhang, being slapped. The assailants were many, all dressed in black suits, clearly from some underground organization.
The security guards of the Yun Corporation, all in their twenties and powerfully built, stood behind Minister Xiao Feng. Each was equipped with rubber batons and stun guns. Despite the imposing and fierce appearance of the other party, if a fight really broke out, it was still uncertain who would suffer.
Wang Bingbing glanced at the few pathetic security guards and mocked, "You few think you can play the hero? Ridiculous!"
"It was you who slapped her, wasn’t it? Don’t say I didn’t tell you, apologize nicely to our Miss Zhang, or else don’t blame me for being rude," Xiao Feng said.
Seeing the other party’s arrogance, Minister Xiao Feng naturally wanted to assert his authority. He was a smart man and knew an opportunity to assert his dominance had come. If he could handle this group, his status among the guards would skyrocket, and he wouldn’t be afraid of being undermined by Ye Tian anymore.
"Rude with me? I really want to see what you can do." Wang Bingbing sneered and gave a signal to the people behind her.
The men in black immediately understood that their queen was signaling the start of the battle. What else to wait for? Just freaking do it.
"Dare to talk to our sister like that, you’re fucking tired of living, damn it!"
The men in black pulled out switchblades from their pockets and swarmed forward.
The security guards of Yun Corporation were not to be messed with either. The fight had come to their doorstep, and if they didn’t teach the other party a lesson, they might as well quit being security guards and go home to babysit.
The two groups engaged in a brawl in the lobby, where grey security uniforms tangled with black suits. Some faces were cracked open by rubber batons, some bodies convulsed from electric shocks, and some legs were lacerated by switchblades—it was a chaotic scene.
The receptionist never expected the situation to escalate so much. She didn’t dare join the fight and hid behind the desk, too scared to even watch, crying loudly as someone’s blood splattered on her face.
Though Xiao Feng acted tough on a normal day, when it came to a real fight, he was a coward; he was knocked to the floor by two punches and couldn’t get up again.
On the other hand, Gu Lei, usually quiet and well-behaved, was extraordinarily fierce in a fight. He was like a ferocious tiger, causing bloody havoc wherever he charged, taking down five or six men by himself.
The security guards of the Yun Corporation weren’t pushovers. Apart from the ordinary ones, most were ex-servicemen and outstanding graduates from martial arts schools.
These men had good relationships and sparred with each other in their free time. Now in a fight, their cooperation was seamless.
In contrast, most of Wang Bingbing’s subordinates were paper tigers, long hollowed out by indulgence. They might intimidate others, but in a real fight, they were nothing.
In about ten minutes or so, the outcome of the melee was clear. Besides the howling Minister Xiao Feng on the ground, the Yun Corporation had virtually no casualties, while the other side was beaten to a mess, in a sorry state.
Mr. Hungry Tiger looked relaxed as he stepped out and said, "Heh, so this is Yun Corporation’s security, quite capable. My apologies for underestimating you earlier."
As he stepped out, the men in black instantly respected him, obediently standing behind him.
Wang Bingbing’s eyes lit up, thinking, "Mr. Hungry Tiger is finally going to take action!"
