It was almost as if from the moment he was born that hand had always been there beside him, and only now could he see it. Only now could Rowan see the Hand of Death.

 The Singularity swallowed the Supreme Circle, and what blasted out of it was no longer a whisper, at this point, Rowan’s defenses had been worn thin and the voice came to him as a roar,

 A silence seemed to descend on the entire universe and everything went still, even the vibrations of atoms and molecules, and then, every star went out, every light in the universe was extinguished, and every life passed away. Rowan became the only life remaining in this place.
 There was only darkness, and the Hand of Death on Rowan’s shoulder suddenly blazed with green flames brighter than the sun, its light shone on the entirety of the universe, and this light was old.
 Rowan, who had returned to his feet, collapsed fully to both knees as his strength vanished from his frame, the flames blazing on his shoulder spread across his entire body in mere moments, and his dimensional flesh began to collapse.

 The ever-burning Hand of Death did not leave his shoulder, his body continued to crumble, and even his jaws collapsed, but Rowan’s laughter still rang out, strong and endless.

 It had been a long time since Rowan compared himself to an immortal. At this point, it was almost silly to do such a thing. However, Death was treating him like an average immortal, he did not know what was more insulting, the fact that the Death that was here was not the true concept of Death, just one of its many branches that was spread across all of reality or the fact that it felt it wanted to seize his lifespan using such a small portion of itself.
