100X Return System: My Talent Awakening Becomes a God-Level Cheat-Chapter 20: The Awaited Battle
Hearing the words come out from Chrome’s lips, Nyra and the others were taken aback.
It was already crazy that the majority of the initial numbers of Farmer had reduced, all because of the challenge.
And now the only way to survive the challenge, had given them more to worry about.
Is this the end?
Are we going to die after all?
Does it mean that our numbers shouldn’t have reduced?
Various questions popped into the heads of the Farmers but the entire place was silent.
Their gaze was empty, no life in them. In their hearts, their life had left them, so what was the point of going on?
Nyra stood, staring at Chrome, puzzled. She didn’t know what she was going to do, and their time was running out.
Then, a thought came to her, and she asked.
"Are you certain that’s the number we need?"
As the words left her lips, many of the Farmers turned their gaze towards her, hoping that she had found a solution to the problem.
"I mean, I can’t say for certain. It could be more, or it could be less, I don’t know. This is only a rough estimate."
Nyra nodded her head as she heard these words.
Since it was only a rough estimate and not the actual number, that is, it could either be more or less. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
Nyra chose the latter, as she didn’t want to die in a very sad and ugly place where her name wouldn’t be remembered.
’If it’s just a rough estimate then, there is hope.’ she thought, inwardly.
At this moment, in this critical time, Nyra began thinking of the best solution.
It was already known that their current number was barely over one hundred, and that isn’t even half of what they needed for an estimate.
However, there was still hope. Although the number wasn’t favorable, there was still one thing to use, their ranks.
It wasn’t everyone who was in the same rank, but your rank determines your level of mana reserves.
"By now almost everyone should have recovered their mana to a certain point." Nyra mumbled, her finger at her lips.
Chrome gazed at her, as she was deep in thoughts.
He was also thinking of a solution, but as he ran the possibilities of success and found them to be unfavorable, he dismissed the ideas.
But for someone like Nyra, when she has an idea, doesn’t need to do too many calculations.
Once her mind was set on that thing, she would make sure it was executed to the end.
The thing about the ranks of the Farmers was this; most of them were of E-rank and D-rank, but they also had their stages.
And it’s already known that a higher stage is greater than the lower.
Now, those who were in E-rank top stage surely had more mana reserves than those who were in E-rank middle stage and low stage.
And just the same with the D-rank, a Farmer who was in D-rank middle stage would have more mana reserves then one in low stage.
This way, the higher the stages, the higher the mana reserves, and the higher the mana reserves, the higher their chances of succeeding even with less numbers.
’I am D-rank Top stage,’ Nyra turned to Sinon. ’And Sinon is a D-rank middle stage.’
’If we can find more Farmers with higher stages we could have a chance.’
Knowing this fact, a bright expression appeared on Nyra’s face, and Chrome, who was still staring at her, noticed it.
"Do..."
"Do you have an idea?" Sinon immediately asked, cutting Chrome.
As she had also been watching Nyra also.
Nyra faced Sinon and then nodded.
Seeing this, a smile played on Sinon’s face with a heart of absolutely zero doubt. ’I knew you would.’ she said in her heart.
Nyra face the four Farmers who had taken the task of informing the other groups, and then she spoke:
"I would like you guys to go and inform the others as fast as you can. Tell them we are in need of them as soon as possible."
Of course, there was no reason they had to lay much emphasis when it had already been decided much earlier.
But no one can know what will happen in the future.
The four Farmers nodded their heads and in the next second sprinted in four different directions of east, west, southeast and northwest.
After they had gone, Nyra turned to the rest of the Farmers and shared the plan with them.
She spoke of how the upper stage of each ranks have more mana reserves than the lower stage, and those who were in the top stages of their ranks, would be of the most helpful.
Sinon had listened carefully as Nyra explained, and was marvelled by how well she had come up with the plan.
Infact, it wasn’t only her, all the Farmers as they heard her plan, felt inspired and filled with awe.
If this was a challenge of finding the next successor to a certain throne or kingdom, Nyra was the best candidate and would be chosen without doubt.
It turns out that in Nyra’s group, the majority of Farmers, although all E-rank, were E-rank middle stage and top stage.
There were only a few low stages, but the numbers were enough to lift the spirits of everyone around.
With this knowledge, Nyra had hoped it was the same for the other groups, and it would help if they had a couple of D-rank low stages as well.
Since she was already the highest in rank among all of them, there was no real reason to expect a rank above her.
However, there was one fellow, a single Farmer, who perhaps could change the tide of the situation.
Nyra shook her head, as the thought of Ageon; ’No, no, no... he’s already fighting our battle for us. The best we can do is this.’
Taking the thought away from her head, she turned to Chrome and asked:
"So, how do we make this thing work?"
Just then, a bell sound echoed and every head looked up
(03:59:59)
They had already spent two hours, and were down for two hours.
The surroundings, although not too much, were still bright, and it was difficult to tell between day and night in this place.
That was if this place obeyed the law of day and night in the first place.
Nyra placed her head down, and looked at Chrome immediately, giving him the expression that said, he should go on.

In the middle of a cold and snowy field, stood two different races.
One was a horde of monsters, a family with a large elder sibling, while the other race was a single human; standing and facing the elder sibling.
Aegon was staring at the massive monster, as it had just walked to the front of the other monsters.
"So you have come to join the fight? Interesting..."
The words left his lips, and as though he was heard; the massive monster vanished before his eyes.
"What?"
And under a breath of time, the monster appeared before him, a single limb moving at an incredible speed to tear off Ageon’s head.
However, with a keen sight Aegon was able to react and used the skill [Warp Fist] on the limb.
Upon collision, the monster vanished again and appeared at its original spot.
Aegon looked forward to it, and noticed there was no scratch on the monster.
His heart sank.
