10x Cashback: Your Wealth Is Mine-Chapter 90 New Plans For You
90 New Plans For You
There's only one thing better than winning.
Rubbing it in someone's face.
Maybe that's why the Regera felt more powerful as I drove down the road. I was on my way to say 'I told you so' and I was sure the thrill in my bones was being passed into this car.
Or maybe it's all just my imagination. It probably was.
I began humming a nice tune to myself when the phone attached to my dashboard buzzed. I raised a brow at the name of the caller and picked it, pressing the hands-free button.
"Justin." I greeted, recognizing the number immediately. I had been expecting his calls, after all, I followed through on my words. The words I made in his office.
"Nico!" Justin's voice was lively. "First, congratulations on your acquisition of Walk Shop. I must say, you move fast."
I grinned, with that happiness infecting my voice. "Thanks, Justin. You know me. I don't waste time."
"Well, it is with great pleasure that I announce that your speed has paid off."
The moment I heard that, my grin somehow grew bigger. I knew what was coming.
"The board has decided in favor of Sunset Inn's personalized guest experience system. Eidolon is officially backing your project."
I clenched the steering wheel tighter, laughing at the good news. "That's incredible, Justin. Thanks for letting me know."
"No, thank you." Justin replied. "Your presentation was stellar and your ability to anticipate our needs is unmatched. Adding your acquisition of Walk Shop to the equation only sealed a deal that was already closed. I'll be in touch soon about next steps."
We ended the call and I began playing music in the car, singing along as I drove down the road.
Not only did I have Walk Shop in one hand but I also had Sunset Inn with Eidolon's support in the other. Those were two pillars in my empire. One to enter the tech market and the other to bring in the wealthy.
Things were looking up.
I finally got to my destination, parking outside. The moment I stepped out of the car, there was an assistant there, waiting to greet me. After that, he quickly escorted me inside.
I looked around the Walk Shop building, enjoying the view. This was my first time here but it was as the owner. Perfect.
As I passed, I could feel the eyes of the employees on me. They whispered among themselves about the man who had acquired their company overnight.
And also because they knew changes were coming and wondered what it meant for them.
The assistant led me up to the boardroom. I entered to see the board members already sitting around a polished table. Dressed in their suits, they looked the same way they felt. Curious yet apprehensive.
They stood as I entered and I waved them to sit, taking my place at the head of the table.
"Good afternoon, everyone." I said, looking around the table. "My name is Nicholas Voss and as you're all aware, Walk Shop has officially come under new ownership. Mine."
They said nothing, giving me their undivided attention.
"And with this new management comes change. Strategic, transformative change."
I nodded to the assistant who pressed a remote and the screen behind me lit up, displaying the logo of my newly established holding company.
Imperium Holdings.
The image was of a stylized throne with the letter H imprinted on the back of the throne and the letter I sitting in the middle of it. Topping it off was a small crown at the top of the throne.
"Effective immediately," I continued, gesturing toward the logo, "Walk Shop will become a part of Imperium Holdings, the umbrella under which all my ventures will operate."
Murmurs filled the room as some of the board members began leaning toward each other to exchange whispers. I gave them a moment to get it all out before continuing.
"Imperium Holdings represents more than just consolidation. It represents a vision. A unified force for innovation and leadership across multiple industries."
"This means that Walk Shop is not losing its identity. Instead, it's gaining all it needs to reach its fullest potential."
I paused, studying their reaction. It was a bit mixed but I still had more to say.
"One thing we all can't deny is that Walk Shop has incredible potential and I intend to unlock it fully." I said and they braced themselves for my next words. "However, to do that, some changes are necessary."

"First and foremost, PathFinder AI will be integrated into the Sunset Inn project along with the Adaptive AI." I announced.
"The idea this company was previously pursuing has merit but needs to be tested at a smaller scale before being rolled out to the public."
"With this technology, Sunset Inn won't just be creating personalized guest experiences but also setting new standards in hospitality."
I could see the board members exchanging glances. Even if they had objections, there was nothing they could do about it.
"But that's just the beginning." I continued.
"Walk Shop will also pivot to AI as a Service. PathFinder will evolve into a subscription-based platform that businesses can integrate for personalized customer experiences."
"This way, we're not the one offering the services to customers directly but the businesses are. If anything goes wrong, they take the blame, shielding us from the same scandal that the company was previously involved in."
"Whether it's e-commerce, healthcare or education, PathFinder will become indispensable to these industries."
I met the gaze of the gathered board members. "I believe that Walk Shop has a very solid foundation and now, it will be given the resources and vision to achieve more than it has ever done."
I grinned and began outlining the specifics of my plan. When I was done, I stood.
"I understand this is a lot to take in but I'm confident that together, we can take Walk Shop to greater heights. Thank you for your time."
The board members applauded politely as I stepped out of the ballroom but my mind was already on where I was going next.
