He didn’t come.

It’s been two days straight since he got her message, but yet he has not reached out to her which made her question if exactly he really did get the message, from the guard or if he was avoiding her intentionally.

But he can’t do that,she knew they weren’t on good terms with each other at the moment, because of what he found out was going on between her and Micheal.

But he wouldn’t be too heartless to leave her,not when she needed human company at this moment so as to not go insane.

She had come here yesterday,and the day after yesterday and stayed more than the time she had expected him to be here,only to be heartbroken.

It was now clear to her that she didn’t matter at all to him, because if he really did care for her?Zaidem would do everything possible to look for her.

The tears cascaded down her pale skin,which she cleaned with the pad of her right hand while clutching her ticket tightly in her left hand.

Sitting in the lonely park, which held a lot of good memories she shared with him,she had eagerly hoped that upon her arrival he would be here waiting for her.

That Hope,had been what she held onto but now,she didn’t know if it was going to help in this situation.

That’s why she was leaving,she’s going to leave everything she had worked so hard for to be happy.

Honestly speaking,Arianna knew that a day like this would come but she didn’t expect it to come sooner than she expected.

The courage that was running through her veins the night she stabbed Micheal,was what she had longed for.

She knew that she would give up everything, because there is no meaning in having all this fame, attention and money but lack happiness.

She had all long thought that she made the right decision to leave Zaiden in pursuit of her dream,but that had been a mistake.

If she hasn’t left,all these won’t have happened,if only she hasn’t left,then she won’t be stuck here regretting the past years of her life.

Years of her life which had been full of pretence,but just like that says,all that glitters isn’t gold.

Many yearned to be like her,to be like Arianna Walter,to have all she had,but that’s not the same for her, because what she truly wanted was to be happy.

That’s what she craves right now,and if leaving everything would get her the happiness and peace of mind she craves for she won’t think twice of doing that.

That’s why she’s seated here,with her ticket to happiness in hand,with no one having a clue of where she was heading if she left country Z.

No one except Zaiden,who was the last person she desperately wanted to see before leaving.

She needed to let him know how grateful she was for having met him, although it was such a sad experience that they didn’t end up together,but it was worth the ride meeting him.

She was really grateful.

An exasperated sigh escaped her lips,when she looked at her watch to notice that it was time.

It’s all over.

Time to leave so as to not miss her flight,she knew by now Micheal would be getting his retribution for what he did to her.

Did she yearn to see his face?

Yeah.

She was pushed to do so,but that would bring her attention from the press which she was desperately avoiding by all means, but she knew she would get to see his face, when he would get punished for all he did to her soon enough standing in a law court.

Standing up,while taking her luggage that was beside her,she was in no mood to stay here and waste more time when the truth was out to her.

She was alone.

That’s what she knew,and Zaiden was not coming,also she didn’t want to attract stares from the passersby who were sending her looks.

Her cover won’t be blown off by desperate citizens, who needs to know more about her fucked up life,just because she was waiting for Zaiden.

Switching her phone off,she put it inside her handbag,and tugged more on her hoodie to cover up her face,but noticed that the park was now empty and devoid of any human being.

Odd!

There were tons of them earlier,who were sending her suspicious looks as if she was some serial killer that was on the run, because of the way she was dressed.

Whatever.

She was not in any way concerned about what they thought of her, because very soon she would be out of their hair,soon,it would be goodbye Country Z.

"Time to go,Anna"She mumbled to herself,taking her luggage to leave.

"Is this how you say goodbye?"Zaiden said,appearing out of the blues in front of her,as she stopped in her tracks,her luggage falling hard on the ground.

"Zai...’’Her eyes teared up while looking at him,he came.

He finally came for her.

"I must say,you really have a weird way of declaring you love me if you didn’t had it in you to tell me this on phone, rather than writing it down "He added,walking up with his hands in his pockets ,while masking the glee in his heart that he was not late after all.

She was here, waiting for him.

"Why are you running Arianna Wal...’’His statement wasn’t finished,before she pulled him into a bone crushing hug, and broke down in tears wetting his clothes which he didn’t mind at all.

That’s the least he could offer her, before she leaves for god knows where.

"I thought you w...on..t com..e"",She cried,pulling him more to her while inhaling her favourite scent which she had missed for years now.

"Why won’t I?’’Zaiden said,caressing her hair as she let out all frustration in his arms,not caring about the passersby.

It took a long while for her to be in his arms, after such a long time and she wasn’t giving up on such an opportunity because of people seeing them.

Besides,this was the last time she would ever get to be this way with him,why not enjoy the moment while it lasts?

It took awhile for her to calm down,before she pulled away from him, apologizing for wetting his shirt which he didn’t complain about.

"We need to talk,Anna"Zaiden told her,holding her arms, that she was in close proximity with him,which was what he wanted at this moment.

She needs to listen to what he has to say about her leaving,he had evidence against Micheal which was going to end all of this.

She doesn’t have to run away just like that,she still had a lot more to gain by using this evidence he got for her against Micheal.

"I’m leaving Zaid,my flight is in an hour time,and there’s nothing you are going to say that is going to change my mind,please don’t beg me to stay?"She pleaded,releasing her hands from his after remembering that he got a Fianceè.

She suddenly felt bad for hugging him all along. What if someone had taken a photo of them?She wouldn’t like the fact of his fiancee getting the wrong impression about them.

She had long given up on him, when she knew that he’s madly in love with Hazel,he deserved to be happy, and happiness is with Hazel,not with her.

Zaiden understood what she did,and slightly blamed himself for going a bit overboard with her.

"You don’t have to worry about Micheal,I uploaded some evidence that would ruin my image ,but that would surely get him the punishment he deserves,so,it’s all over"she said looking away from him,she didn’t want his pity.

"I get to be free,and happy once again,I have never been so happy than i am now for quite a long time,which is why i need to leave Zaid"She said, picking her luggage up again.

"I understand Bambi,I understand"He smiled at her,she’s all grown up.

For her to realize her mistake,and trying to be happy despite all she was going through,she’s now grown up.

"Bambi"she smiled,his endearment for her while they were still dating.

How could she ever forget?

"I have caused you more harm than good for being here Zaiden,I just want you to be happy that’s all"She admitted.

"I’m happy"He proudly declared

"Yeah,I can see that,She’s much better than me"She joked,while cleaning her tears."Seriously,what’s wrong with you Anna?"

"So,what’s your next plan? I mean,yeah you are leaving, but you are actually not telling me where you are heading to"

"Why asking? Would you come find me if i tell you?"she asked with folded arms.

Shrugging his shoulders,"Who knows".

"It was nice to know you, Mr.Zaiden Knights"She said,with outstretched hands.

"A pleasure, Miss.Arianna Walter ’’He took her hand in a handshake that lasted for some minutes,before she removed her hand from his.

"I guess,it’s goodbyes"She uttered.

"I guess so"He admitted,looking away because it felt weird all of a sudden between the both of them.

"Congrats on your wedding,it’s so bad i wouldn’t be there,but anyway,my regards to her"

"Yeah,I would do that"scratching his head,while she smiled at him,with her luggage ready to leave,"Take care"

"I will.Keep in contact,"He added,which she turned and flashed him a smile while controlling her tears.

It was hard, but she had to do it for her sake. Staying here was bringing up more memories which she didn’t want anymore,and just like she said for Zaiden.

Happiness is with Hazel,and not with Anna,so,she had to leave.

Crying as she hailed a taxi,she didn’t look back at all, because doing that might change her mind.

"Goodbye, Zaiden ’’She whispered,as the car drove away from the love of her life which was no longer her’s anymore.
