***Chapter 266 Introducing settings***
※Introducing settings
■――Settings
○ Knowledge in the year 1300s of Unified Era.
○ Magic power
A force existing since ancient times, consisting of mysterious particles that drift within the body and the atmosphere.
It reacts to the will of living beings, taking the form of a semi-physical spirit.
Although it usually floats in the atmosphere, there are times when it coalesces like a liquid, or crystallizes underground, forming what is known as magic crystals. Despite its long existence, much about its properties remains unknown. In the atmosphere, they dissipate, and in stable water or soil they often attract each other, but sometimes they also behave in the opposite way, puzzling many researchers to this day.
It seems to have the ability to interfere with, break down, or create substances, but the precise principles behind this remain unclear. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
Among researchers, some speculate that it is a force seeping from overlapping alternate worlds, while others suggest hypotheses that the world itself is shaped by mana. However, none of these conjectures have ventured beyond the realm of speculation given the nature of mana.
It is suggested that the concentration of magic in the atmosphere increases around the Celestial Poles. During the Kleinmeer era, much research was conducted, and theories were proposed suggesting that the influence of the collective unconscious affects mana, formula, and even the world itself. However, understanding of magic itself has not progressed significantly.
○ Formula Engraving
Means employed to interfere with space and matter through mana.
Known as ‘Commands to the World’ that manifest effects by engraving specific patterns, formula engraving are the basis for magician to manipulate magic and sorcery.
By engraving formula with magic, that generates mechanical kinetic energy, various effects can be realized.
Currently, the basic system of rune inscriptions consists of combining the four major runes of earth, water, fire, and air with the binary runes of static and dynamic, as discovered by the 5th generation Alberinea (who obtained the title of Alberinea due to this discovery). The original runes used by Alberinea and previous magician are only used for the construction and research of magitech.
Rune inscriptions, which theoretically allow infinite engraving and interference, were found to have a limitation known as the Formula limit. Engraving formula beyond a certain range produce uncontrollable disturbances in the formula, rendering the Origin Formula Engraving, which require extensive engraving, no longer used for large-scale use of magical power.
The magic crystal formula carved by Alberinea and the genius Elgainst who learned from her is extremely precise and minute, so it is thought that this problem has existed since that time. There are no examples of large-scale magic being used, except for the ‘Great Law of Heavenly change’, which was recorded in manuscripts throughout the continent.
Afterwards, as a result of a largescale major review, the engraving of the Four Phenomenon Two Element was discovered.
Due to the inclusion of fire as a phenomenon and the remarkable increase in efficiency when compared to the Origin Seal, Some believe that the beliefs of people who do not understand physical phenomena or magicians have influenced the laws as a collective unconscious, and the mysteries surrounding the already inexplicable energy known as magic only deepened further.
○ Origin
A hypothetical entity advocated by some scholars.
It is said that there is a huge mass of magical power deep within the world, and that the overflowing droplets from there are seeping into our world, but this has not been proven.
○ Soul
A type of faith.
It is said to be the essence of living things that leads to reincarnation and paradise, and many researchers have aimed to elucidate it. However, its existence cannot be proven, and it is considered nothing more than unscientific faith that cannot even be grasped by mana.
○ Magic Possessor
There is no living being without mana within its body, but among them, those with such a high amount of mana that it causes bodily transformation are defined as such. Basically, it refers to humans, but in a broader sense, it also includes beasts imbued with magical power.
As mentioned above, living being called magic possessor experienced body transformation, and are said to have spiritual internal organs that are powered by magical power. This organ breaks down and converts the food and waste that enters the body into magical power――as a result, their bodies undergo physical changes from normal living things, such as their inability to excrete.
Magical power has a great influence on the body, and aging is basically gradual. Their bodies often stop growing during adolescence and begin to age slowly after reaching 30. However, there are large individual differences, and it is said that there were some people whose appearance did not change even after reaching the age of 50.
In addition, many people with magical powers have stronger bodies than normal individuals, such as being less susceptible to disease and resistant to poisons and alcoholic substances. Basically, there is a strong view that they are superior creatures compared to normal individuals.
On the other hand, to compensate for this, magic possessors tend to suffer from infertility more often than those without magical powers. The birth rate of nobles, most of whom are magic possessors, tends to be low.
This tendency is weakened if one party does not possess magical power, but, among nobles In particular, magic possessors tend to have a physiological aversion to those who age quickly and need to defecate, thus such marriages are generally not preferred.
It is considered that the influence of the surrounding’s magic power concentration on the birth of magic possessors is definite, and it is clear from literature that the ratio of magical power holders has increased significantly since the establishment of the Heavenly Pole and the ‘Great Law of Heavenly Change’.
Particularly, the ratio of magic possessors born around the world tree created by the Celestial Poles is extremely high, and many scholars attribute the rise of mage supremacy――the idea of considering magic possessors as evolved humans, at the mid to late Kleinmeer period to it.
As a fact, magic possessors, except for their ability to leave offspring, possess abilities surpassing non- magic possessors, and though not loudly proclaimed, there still exist magic possessors who consider non- magic possessors to be no different from beasts.
○ Magic crystal
A crystal that closely resemble quartz, said to have crystallized mana underground.
Its physical properties are similar to quartz, but inside this crystal, magic can be manipulated like within the body. By engraving patterns called magic formulas on these crystals, various physical interferences through magic power can be made possible.
It has various uses, such as being a light source, emitting heat or cooling, and attracting water, in some cases, it can also radiate energy and burn or destroy objects. However, it is not often utilized as a weapon due to its mana efficiency.
In the past, extensive research was carried out, but military application was difficult in terms of efficiency, and currently only a small number of researchers, known as magicians, are inventing and devising new formula through personal research.
They also have a strong side as magicians who specialize in creating magic crystals for daily necessities, and nowadays magicians and magic engineer are mistaken for each other.
With the invention of technology for manipulating and acting on magical power in places other than the body or magic crystals――‘magic’, its value has declined relatively, but rven today, it is often used for engraving magical formula of recording medium, and large, highly pure magic crystals are traded at high prices.
Although there are artificial magic crystals with high purity, they cannot be mass-produced and the price increases depending on the size, so large magic crystals are often a natural mined products.
○ Alberinea
A magic engraver who is said to be a primordial magician――the ancestor of magicians.
Elgainst Ramil discovered the existence of magic from the various magic crystals she left behind, researched it, and used the skills to establish the thousand years of stability on the continent.
In Kleinmeer, Alberinea is the symbol of a great magician and it was due to her great achievements in the history of magic, that the name Alberinea remained. During the Kleinmeer era, the name itself did not hold any inherent power, but it was customary to show respect to Alberinea as the pinnacle of all magicians, often resulting in them occupying high positions.
Now, after the collapse of Kleinmeer, Alberinea is the pinnacle of the magic academy, a title given to the best magician of the era.
○ Magician
A general term for those who manipulate magical power.
The Magic Academy adopts the classification from Kleinmeer and calls people who demonstrate a certain level of ability certified by the Magic Academy a magician. In the past, there was a distinction between magicians and magic engineer who could perform magic formula engravings rather than using magic crystals, but with the widespread adoption of magic formula engravings, both are now simply referred to as magicians.
Those who have the ability to teach and guide them are called Doushi, and among the Doushi, those who have enough ability to influence the power balance between the nation are called Grand Magicians The magician is the pinnacle of this, and is given along with the title of Alberinea.
The ranking of the Mage Academy is often based on the number of instructors and Grand Magicians. Currently, the Albeneria Mage Academy is recognized by the Union as the highest-ranking Mage Academy, allowing a significant number of instructors and Grand Magicians to be enrolled simultaneously.
○ Imaginary Muscle
A type of magic that can be used by magic possessors.
Also known as physical strengthening, it indicates the enhancement of physical abilities through magical power.
It is a technique that allows you to manipulate your body, amplify your muscular strength, and acquire high physical abilities by constructing a spiritual body that overlaps with your physical body. This itself is not a very advanced technique, as magic possessors may use it unconsciously. However, the more one consciously try to master this, the more concentration and mental stability would be needed, and the more difficult it becomes.
Depending on the situation, one may not be able to control the high physical ability, and the recoil could become a double-edged sword, causing them to injure themself. Especially in the extreme situation of battle, it is difficult even for an experienced magic possessors to manipulate it freely, and it is no exaggeration to say that the skill with which it is used determines one's value as a magic possessor.
Those possessing magical power who stand on the battlefield often train their bodies and wear muscular armor, but the majority of the reason for this is to absorb this reaction and control excessive power. Sometimes, in order to maintain stability, they often wear armor that is too heavy for a normal person to wear, but many warriors believe that these efforts are actually taking them away from their ideals.
Currently, it is not so mainstream as a form of primitive magic, and in addition to learning it as a basis for manipulating magic, it is only learned by some magic users as a means of self-defense.
○ Magical Beast
Beast magic possessor.
Most are born with magical powers, and generally, they are larger than the creatures from which they originated, with a tendency for their body color to have a bluish hue.
Without exception, they are skilled at manipulating magical power, and their physical abilities combined with their physiques are incomparable to human magic possessor. Magical beasts are often feared around the world as beings of fear or as indigenous gods.
It is unknown why humans with magical powers do not grow in size, but some researchers believe that human’s will might have influenced their magical powers and suppressed it unconsciously, and this view is considered to be relatively common.
Magical beasts are thought to have long lives as usual, but this has not been verified due to the danger.
There are many magical beasts that live in mountains and forests, such as tigers, wolves, hawks, and wild boars, but there are other examples as well, and magical beasts can be born from all kinds of animals.
There are also accidents on sea routes caused by magical beasts, and many maritime nations are focusing their efforts on countermeasures.
○ Fantasy World
One of the worlds talked about in folk religion.
Reine's heaven is also a type of this and is said to be a different world from this world. It's basically fictional, and no one believes it actually exists.
○ Dragons
Also sometimes called Ancient Dragon or Holy Spirit.
It is a wise beast that is said to have once ruled the world, and its most notable features are its enormous magical power and gigantic size. It has a body that resembles a fortress and scales like stone, and its magical power is said to be incomparable to that of magical beasts, and old records say that the dragon's roar can change the terrain.
It is said that a turf war between dragons occurred in the distant past――during the Dragon War, countless dragons went on a rampage, and many civilizations were destroyed as a result of it. The name of the Rusheran Empire, which was once at its peak of prosperity but was destroyed by the dragon's wrath, was famous.
However, for the past several hundred years, there have been no records of people seeing dragons flying through the sky, so anecdotes about dragons are often seen as mere fables. In some regions they are still considered objects of faith. Some people have doubts about its existence and abilities.
It is said that strong power dwells in its flesh and blood, and there are many legends that say that the humans who ate it gained strong power, and its body is treated as a kind of elixir.
Two of them were hunted down by Kleinmeer's dragon hunters, but the damage caused by the subsequent counterattack was enormous, once again showing the terror of dragons.
Most of the blood and flesh of the hunted dragons was turned into magical power and dispersed, and some of it was magically stored and used for research into immortality, but many died in the process, and the research was not successful. The sixth generation Alberinea’s, who was said to have achieved immortality, secret formula was lost when she was assassinated by the dragon fanatics, the Holy Spirit Cult.
The fourth generation, Alberinea, who possessed tremendous power, lost their life easily in front of Kushenaras thirty years after taking office, and the fifth generation, Alberinea, who discovered the formula of Four Phenomenon Two elements, also died in less than 50 years as a result, and became a great man. After losing two Alberinea’s in quick succession, the magicians became afraid of anything to do with dragons, and became a little reluctant to research them.
Later, aiming for immortality through research on magical beasts, which are believed to have no finite lifespan like them, which eventually created sub-humans.
――Be careful as the following contains major spoilers.
● According to Bery’s Mental Memo.
●Magic power
Something that arises from an energy called the Origin.
Splashes of roots irregularly swaying across multiple dimensions. The material world is seen to have been created by this, and it is thought that the physical space-time and material world were created as a result of various coincidences caused by droplets irregularly produced by the Origin over what could be called eternity.
Although it is a coincidence like miracle after miracle, it can become inevitable if one try for an infinite number of times as long as it was possible. Pretty close to the truth.
The world was created from the droplets of the Origin, and magic is the droplets of the Origin.
That's why, if you think of magic as the power to travel through all dimensions and transform everything, it makes a lot of sense.
Magic itself, if drawn together too closely, explodes apart, and besides that, there are no particular laws. Even if physical time were to stop, it would not be possible to put it into a complete state of statis without cutting off the influence from the world of Origin.
Its trajectory, generally considered inexplicable, is due to the attraction and repulsion between the magic of the world of Origin, not the unconscious influence or the material world. Understanding its laws completely is impossible without being able to observe the world of Origin――this is why magicians struggle.
● Formula Engraving
Letter of Law for altering the world using magical power.
It is a formula that inserts and rewrites the world formed by magical power, and theoretically can change anything.
Due to the invention and subsequent development of magic that does not rely on magic crystals, and the problem of dragon hunting, there is no doubt that humanity will develop this at an accelerated pace in the future. Due to the fear that it would lead to the planet's collapse, it was decided to introduce simplified formula engraving based on the theory of the four elemental principles, which were advocated by some magicians at the time.
It rewrites the entire world and sets a limit on the magical inscriptions, causing disturbances in the surgical techniques and suppressing large-scale descriptions that exceed a certain range.
By constructing an automatic simplification mechanism ‘Fuyopita’ (a name typical of Krische-sama, it sounds cute) that complements efficient space and substance interference from the essence world through specific engraving, it can control the formula engraving. At the same time, dimensional interference that reaches the Origin is blocked in advance.
At present, the "Peaceful to the End of the World Fuyopita Network Plan" is ongoing so that even if there are bad aliens there would be no horm, there are many virtual brains, automatically proliferating and expanding the Fuyopita network.
It was probably because of something she had mentioned a long time ago ‘if there are aliens then’. She realized once again that she shouldn't recklessly say too much in front of Krische-sama.
● Origin
A huge magic mass that exists in an area called the root world.
While it's unclear how it came into being, the origin itself is believed to be a part of an even larger origin――splashes of the "Origin of Beginnings" or its fragments.
The details of how the Origin of Beginnings came to be are still unknown and probably will remain that way, and that's fine.
The "Peaceful to the End of the World Fuyopita Network Plan" has confirmed the existence of the Origin, as well as its size and condition. It seems they are connected to celestial bodies like the moon and sun in the material world, but as someone who only understands the logic of the material world, the structure and laws of the origin world are difficult for her to comprehend.
Those who exist inside on paper could only understand things that exist on paper. It's very complex, and perhaps only Krische-sama and Kreschenta-sama could understand it.
In any case, the Fuyopita net is reportedly stretching beyond the Origin World today, replenishing magic from various origins to achieve its colossal purpose.
● Soul
The essence of living things.
Like coincidentally creating Jarea Gashea after a tremendous amount of trial, what was born from the splashes of the Origin after a tremendous amount of trial was soul.
Some of them ooze into the material world, shaping the living beings, or perhaps entering living beings, evolving through predation and self-replication while establishing a "cycle of souls" between the origin and the material world, ultimately giving rise to humans――is what she thinks, however, the details are unclear.
At least the reason that creatures can handle and operate the magical power freely may have evolved on the premise of the existence of the soul generated in the Origin world.
Basically, it exists in a state of overlapping with the material vessel, and especially in magic wielders with a high ratio of magical energy in their bodies. It seems that the soul may be the main control of the consciousness and thinking, not the brain.
Upon physical death, they are drawn back to the origin and merge. While generally unstable without a vessel, depending on the strength of their will, they may be expelled as a splash of the origin, leading to what's called "reincarnation."
However, they've decided not to delve into the mechanics of this, as it's better left mysterious.
Discovering the unknown is enjoyable, but it doesn't necessarily outweigh the folly and ignorance of that enjoyment.
● Magic Possessor
A creature that is considered to be born when the ratio of spiritual substance outweighs that of normal matter in living being. his includes magical beasts, and in realms with high magic concentrations like the fantasy realm, they are quite common.
It seems that the density and size of the soul itself are also affected, but as mentioned above, it has not been elucidated.
Due to their high spiritual substance, they have a strong affinity with magic, and theoretically, through complete mastery of magical control over their bodies, they could live indefinitely without aging. My remark about my current body potentially not aging if I had survived using draconic blood drew Ojou-sama anger. I felt that was a little unreasonable.
My current body is simply one with a complete predominance of spiritual substance, not too different from before. Thanks to Krische-sama’s, I still have desires as before, feel heat and cold, and my senses are intact. My daily life remains unchanged.
While it could be possible for me to have a body without the need for sleep or to dispel drowsiness, seeing Kreschenta-sama still complain grumpily in the mornings, I can't help but smile, realizing that they cherish their daily life with its inconveniences.
They who can freely do anything have surely found happiness within those inconveniences.
● Magic Crystal
Stable crystalline formations where magic binds gently without repulsion.
Due to the interfering nature of magic influenced by human will, they are often formed in lands and underground areas far from human habitation. They can also crystallize from the residual magic of immense magical events like the roar of a dragon.
While they don't grow around the estate due to magic disturbances, they are highly crystalline and abundant in the fantasy realm――or rather they literally grow from the ground. Ojou-sama frequent construction of cabins and villas led to increased duties of checking underneath the floors periodically.
This chapter is updat𝓮d by freēnovelkiss.com.
It seems Gururun enjoys magical crystals, treating them like snacks, crunching them with delight. It doesn't have taste, but can it be used for as food?
● Alberinea
Krische-sama. Heavenly Sword――It originally mean warrior, but it seems to be the honorary title of the magician now.
As far as Midyliarize’s story talked about, it's a kind of god-like evaluation for magicians, which makes sense in Krishce-sama’s case.
At present, the greatest person in schools bearing the title Alberinea is learning magic formulas and magic peacefully, in Magic Academy. It's a very good thing.
● Magician
At present, it should be a generic term for manipulating magic. In a broad sense, it seems that the magic possessor themself sometimes called a magician.
Narrowly, it refers to those who can engrave magic formulas onto magic crystals, the lowest-ranking of the class. If one can manipulate magic, they are called spellcasters, and exceptionally skilled ones are referred to as sorcerers.
There seem to be various terms depending on the region or locality, but I haven't looked into it much.
Magic grants individuals tremendous power, as imagined in ancient times.
Thus, large magical academies like the Albeneria Magic Academy are not owned by a single nation but by a continental alliance. They gather talented magicians from various countries, educate them, and disperse them, maintaining the balance of power between nations. The current equilibrium seems to be well-maintained by this system.
Though we've decided to remain disinterested and uninvolved, peace is much better than conflict.
Competition is inherent to humans. Conflict may never disappear in the future.
However, I always hope such efforts for peace will continue for a long time.
● Imaginary Muscles
They've become part of the body, and I often forget I'm using them.
● Magical Beast
Beings born from the unconscious of magic wielders and beast.
Whether they are products of human imagination or not, dragons broadly fit into this category.
While dragons may be the largest on land, there are also sea creatures the size of islands, and deep -sea sightseeing trips are one of the pleasures because you can see strange creatures.
In terms of intelligence, they are generally smarter than their counterparts. Some can even communicate simple intentions through telepathy. However, most operate on instinct, with their giant size primarily driven by self-defense and predation instincts.
It seems humans don't grow giant-sized, as speculated from past discussions. However, warriors with magical abilities tend to be large in stature, it was perhaps influenced by this phenomenon.
Gururun here, who seems to understand the language while pretending not to, stopped growing abruptly after being told that they would reducing its food.
After all, it is interesting to think that the elements of the will are very large.
Perhaps there was a part of the reason why I and Krische-sama stopped growing up very young. I who wanted to be a little sister who can be spoiled by my sister, and Krische-sama likely wanted the same. Perhaps even Kreschenta-sama.
Despite reaching for the stars, there's some part they don’t want to surpass human in.
Considering such a thing, I can imagine various circumstances in various things and it is a little fun.
● Fantasy world
A world created in a different phase from the material world.
One could liken it to the reverse side of a coin or the inner side of a coin. Or perhaps it's like perceiving a golden coin as blue, or a world veiled over a painting. Its relationship with the material world is such that it exists in the gaps.
Though closer to the Origin, it remains a material world. Simply put, its magical density is much higher than the material world, making it more susceptible to magical influences.
Though everyone is accustomed to this body now, the semi-spirit bodies that achieve immortality are not stable as physical bodies. They require soul control, and thus, this world was created with dense magic and strong influence of will. It was conceived as a place for us to learn the art of completely controlling the body with magic, similar to Krische-sama and Kreschenta-sama.
I remember Krische-sama worrying about the body for the first few years. After getting used to it, there were no major issues, and we could even venture into the material world.
Perhaps due to existing in a different phase, we go unnoticed unless acknowledged. Even if we greet someone, they might feel the greeting, but they won't remember the impression or the person.
It's akin to the inhabitants of a dream world.
Though everyone moves aside when Gururun walks through the streets pulling a cart, nobody seems to consciously acknowledge its presence, despite its enormous size.
However, some keen animals and individuals near death or in extreme mental states seem to be able to notice us. Sometimes we encounter such individuals when traveling to mountain peaks, sea surfaces, or deserts. They are usually lost travelers or ascetics and often treat them like gods or something similar, which is discomforting but convenient. In fact, Krische-sama and Kreschenta are close to such beings.
Only magical beasts seemed to enter the fantasy realm, but there was an acquaintance of Krische-sama who visited once. He was the person who after the Alberan Kingdom――created what is now known as the Thousand Year Empire, which was surprising.
According to Krische-sama, it seems he simply wanted to meet Krische-sama again and receive praise, but here is not a place you can go just because you want to.
I'm sure he had various feelings as well. However, he seemed genuinely happy from what I heard, so perhaps that small interaction was enough for him.
His grave where he rests still exists near the estate.
● Dragon
Probably, created in the same way as spirits and some demon beasts, their immense power could be why they are considered as gods.
It seemed that it was too far beyond that frame as a living thing, and it seemed that the awe of nature, which caused a catastrophe, was shaped with a large droplet. Even if it is not a person, the fear of death is common to the beast.
When asked, I answered that, but there was no response, and the next time I came, I was told another story, but about thirty years later, I was suddenly allowed to use their true names, saying it wasn’t a bad answer.
Their sense of time is still somewhat unclear, but they seemed satisfied with the answer.
The instant thought speed itself is surprisingly not that different from a person's, and it can be said that the significant difference is in their outstanding memories just like Krische-sama and Kreschenta-sama.
They remember even the slightest details, making it challenging to keep up when they continued talks from three hundred years ago as if they happened yesterday (Although it was not spoken from the throat), I couldn't follow up.
Unlike Krische-sama and Kreschenta-sama, who are faithful to their current desires (sometimes resembling dogs), dragons lack animalistic desires (they don't even sleep when they close their eyes), which might blur the line between past and present for them.
Their whimsical thoughts likely stem from their heightened memory, which isn't particularly problematic among dragons and is considered normal.
Due to this, they often take their time with board games, engaging in lengthy contemplation. While Linasera-sama takes exceptionally long, I've come to accept it as part of the game and find it somewhat relaxing.
However, it's a bit unfair when they try to win by creating a new complex game after she had thought and come up numerous tactics.
But, the more complex the game, the shorter their daily thought time, and they seem oblivious to the fact they're digging their own grave. If I can lead them to a disadvantage by making the game more complex, I might eventually win the final match that who knows will come when.
While the process is important, winning feels good.
↓ Questions about strength, so comparison table appropriately. If you are the type to not like it, you may not want to see it.
■ Strength comparison
This is a somewhat rough and fuzzy guide.
Assuming intent to kill. First encounter. Distance of 20 ken (~36 m). No cover. Fully armed. Excluding magic. No escape. Grandpa's adrenaline present.
XXX > XXX is about 6: 4.
First, if the rank is different, they cannot win one-on-one.
However, if they're the same rank, chance of winning is not zero no matter how far apart they are (winning based on the atmosphere).

6. Proud of their skill (Magic Possessor who have not been trained)
Light infantry> Elvena (amateur magic possessor with a knack for it) >> General soldiers of kingdom> Pel? other country general soldiers> Midyliarize (Amateur magic possessor without any knack for it)
※ Skill, experience, and thinking ability, particularly adept at killing at first encounter.
Even those with superior overall abilities can be lured into complacency and lose, but of course, there are differences in strength.
If it's a first encounter at the same rank, they’re generally at an advantage, but types who never let their guard down (like Meow Meow) are even in strength. However, such individuals are rare.
Bery, who trained seriously for a while to kill Roland, is quite strong (assassin Berry).
Grunmeld, Nakils, Elkar, and others are specialized in group combat, so they're rated a bit disadvantageously due to the conditions. Lightly armored individuals are generally at a disadvantage.
The strength of Suiko lies in its ability to ambush using the stealth and speed of a wild animal, and can also hunt those in monster class normally, but its core ability lies around here.
Generally, people in Group 3 are either individuals with rare qualities or those who have accumulated vast experience due to good luck.
Normally people make bloodshed effort to enter the 4th groups. The people who enter here, as a military person are quite amazing (even a general who had climbed up from a mere soldier is here), but for the convenience of the story, there are quite a few named characters in Groups 2 and 3.
Guess you could say this is a narrative bias.
