In the following evening, Leo and Lily were practicing Piano, and Anastasia was playing with Julian and Elena. Snow was busy in the kitchen because in a few days, Leo would be having his twenty sixth birthday and they wanted to spend it with him. Initially, Lily wanted to have a big party but then she said, "Baba, give everyone a bonus and that would be it. We are the Cardinals, and we don’t make high and might gestures, but we lead by example."

Leo at that morning, bowed his head and said, "Yes, Your Highness."

So, Snow had decided to polish her cooking skills and was practicing three times a day. At the moment, Leo was playing the piano and the two children were cooing as Anastasia was playing with them.

Leo could perceive what they were talking about, and shook his head. Elena said, "When I grow up, I also want to play music."

Julian replied, "I will learn to fight. Big sister is so fierce when she fights. I wonder if I would be able to beat up Baba."

Leo sensed his lips twitch at this moment, and the situation didn’t last for long, Elena said, "Brother Julian, you need to keep those thoughts in check. You know what would happen if he feels bad?"

Leo finished handling the practice and he said, "Lily, on the bridge, when you go to the third note, slide your hand and not jump. Okay? That way it would be smoother."

Lily nodded with a smile on her face. The young man went to the side, and picked up Elena in his arms as he said, "Little one, do you like playing music? Baba will teach you anything that you want to learn. Okay?"

Elena chuckled and cheered, bringing an even brighter smile to Leo’s face. Julian on the other side looked at Leo and made a few loud sounds, Anastasia chuckled and said, "Do you also want to play with your Baba?"

Leo smiled and said, "Ma, this little guy is so energetic that he might beat me up when he grows up."

At this moment, Lily said, "Hmph, Julian, you should not be a naughty child when you grow up. If you tried to trouble Baba or anyone, I will not let you off easily."

Leo scoffed internally, ’Little tyke, you want to beat me? I have an armor of love around me. Hmph.’

Leo nodded as he heeded the advice seriously. Snow came out of the kitchen and said, "The dinner is ready, let’s go."

Leo handed Elena to Snow and took Julian in his arms, and he saw that the little boy was about to throw a tantrum, and Leo said, "I will teach you how to defend yourself, but you better not harbor bad thoughts, and not bully people with your knowledge."

Lily nodded on the side, and Julian cooed, "Yes, Baba."

Julian was an infant and even if they could understand Leo, they were not too opinionated. Leo knew that these guys were curious and perceptive, and if the family nurtured them well, they would grow into kind and good hearted humans, just like Lily.

Although they are living a life far luxurious than Lily, but they had the same father. Just like Leo and Snow had kept Lily grounded and didn’t let her change after they regained their wealth, they would keep the same standards with the two younger ones.

Snow saw this and asked, "You are talking to them as if they understand you better?"

Leo smiled and shook his head and replied, "They understand all of us the same, I just understand them better."

Snow snorted and remarked, "Blowing your own trumpet are we?"

Leo shook his head again, and asked, "Why don’t you try and communicate with them?"

Snow furrowed her brows and said, "Fine you called it upon yourself."

Then she looked at Elena and smiled, "Baby, don’t Ma understand you?"

Elena cooed and babbled, and Snow smiled before she smiled and replied, "Yes, I try."

Leo shook his head and said, "Baby, did you just say, no? If Baba is right you can giggle."

Elena heard his words and then giggled. The people were shocked, and Snow took a hit on her ego. How could she, the mother be inferior then the father when it came to understand the children?

She began to talk with Elena and Julian with the two both in her arms. Leo was not even allowed to peek. After a couple of hours, her maternal instincts regained their luster and they shone brightly. She came back to Leo and then the young man smiled helplessly and said, "I concede, my love."

Snow snorted and said, "As if you even stood a chance against me. Hmph."

Leo chuckled and then Lily climbed up on his lap and hugged him tight as she whispered, "Baba, Lily will always be here for you."

Leo smiled and hugged her tightly as he said, "Thank you, my darling."

Snow saw this and smiled, she then rocked the two children to sleep as Leo sang a lullaby. The two elders moved in one room, coaxing their three children to sleep before they put them to bed. Leo came to lay beside Snow in the bedroom, and the young lady leaned over to his shoulder and said, "I have sent out the invitations. I had a guard team up with Ma and Alpha. Marian and her fiancee would be over, and so will Elvin and Cherry. However, I thought we should call over people from the work, so I have sent an invitation to the higher management and specifically, June, Percie, Ellyse, and Marcus would be coming over too. I wanted to invite some of the researchers from the center, but then I thought it would be a risk to their security so I held back."

These days, Leo was busy handling the project for the moon house, so he had no idea what was going on and whom all did Snow invite. He asked, "What do you mean, risk to their security?"

Snow sighed and replied, "Two days ago, we received a tip off from the off shore assets of the Pinnacle Security Wing, some people in the west still haven’t given up and they are aiming for the research center. Thankfully, now that the people have all been moved to one location, and they are given a round the clock security things are not very dire. However, I have noticed a few foreigners moving into the area."

Leo raised his brow and then Snow said, "The Caliba Mansion next to us was bought out by someone called Ashford. What do you think?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "Nothing, I will handle this later. For now, if there is anyone trying to make a move against us, we shall observe them and be prepared. If we find anything conclusive, then we can settle them all."

Snow nodded and replied, "Good. You handle that, also day after tomorrow, I am going back to work."

Leo hugged her tightly and asked, "Why so early?"

Snow narrowed her gaze and said, "We had a deal. You said it yourself that I can go after three months, now it is hundred days, a little over three months. This is not a joke, I am getting bored all day long. Or shall we wait until that Little Goblin calls me jobless in front of everyone else?"

Leo chuckled and said, "Fine, you can go. I will handle things at home."

Snow smiled and rubbed her nose against his chin, "You are so good to me when you allow me everything."

Leo smiled back and said, "I have three children but you are my first baby, how can I not spoil you?"

Snow pouted and said, "You can calling me a child?"

The two people frolicked around with each other before they shared a youthful night of pleasure and fell asleep in each other’s arms. Leo woke up in the middle of the night, checked on the two children and then on Lily before he came back to sleep. The sleeping pattern of the children was rather stable now, so he didn’t have to coax them for waking up in the middle of the night, but these night rounds, they were his habit now.

Just when he was heading back to the room, he saw a few flashlights moving rather quickly. He frowned and walked up to the window at the end of the corridor and peeked outside carefully and found that the light was coming from the mansion on the side. It was around five hundred meters distance between the two windows, yet they were flashing lights, this made Leo frown and suddenly it clicked to him, these were not flashlights, but they were measuring lasers, and his eyes turned cold.
