Sera woke up with a mind-splitting headache. Her groggy eyes opened to a dark blue ceiling, with a wooden fan spinning at a fairly low speed. She tried sitting up, but her head spun even faster than the fan.

She fell back on the couch, which served as her bed. Only now did she notice the blanket covering her body, which lay naked.

"What the fuck happened?" she said with a deep, exhausted sigh. This wasn't the first time she woke up naked on a random piece of furniture, but usually she remembered the regrets of yesterday.

She couldn't recall anything after drinking the Angel Spit, but judging by the unknown surroundings and lack of clothing, she'll most certainly have regrets.

Soon a light chuckle drew Sera's attention. Her golden-green eyes moved across the room slowly, and through her blurred vision, she saw an interesting figure seated behind a wide carved desk.

A feminine man with long dark curly hair wearing a bright purple robe. On his head rested a strange crown-like object made of leaves. The wreath even had a few clusters of grapes growing among the leaves.

The man smiled at Sera, like a predator at its newly caught prey. His lustful eyes moved across the length of her body, which she kept tightly under the blanket.

"Good morning, Lady Seraphine! I hope you slept well after how much trouble you caused with your girlfriend!"

Realization struck Sera at once, but she kept her cool façade. Her heart pumped with fear since Bea was nowhere to be seen. However, she soon felt a familiar necklace made of vines and flowers around her neck, resting right above her breasts.

A breath of relief escaped through Sera's nostrils as she touched the necklace and felt Bea's soul inside. She was still asleep, though, leaving Sera alone in this predicament... Well, she wasn't ever truly alone...

"What happened? Who did we kill? Should I pay reparations?" she acted nonchalant, but deep down, she already planned the death of this man.

Somehow, his sheer existence pissed Sera off. Maybe it was the lustful gaze, or the shit-eating grin, or that stupid wreath atop his head. Either way, Sera wanted him dead.

"Should I summarize the damages and main events?" he asked while continuing to smile. The man then lifted a piece of paper, which must've contained everything Sera and Bea had done during the night.

"Let's see, you drank through the entire bar, and vomited on multiple parts of the floor, walls, ceiling, lights, DJ booth and many guests. You and your girlfriend danced with such ferocity that many people got whiplash and concussions from your rapid movements...

"You broke multiple bones of a group of Valkyrie, when you two tried involving them in a group dance. At some point, you decided to create your own light show, which ended up blinding a few dozen guests. Should I continue?"

He grinned again, and before Sera could've shut him up, he continued reading.

"Your girlfriend broke the sprinkler system when she covered all the pipes with vines. You cracked every single surface when landing roughly on them. Oh, and my personal favorite...

"About halfway through the night, you and your girlfriend decided to kiss and grope each other for close to an hour, while flying above the partying crowds... That's where you lost your clothes by the way..."

The man leaned back in his armchair. The leather surface creaked gently as he waited to see the shame grow on Sera's face. However, to his utter disappointment, the Angel didn't look the least bit disturbed.

"That's it? I didn't even kill anyone or knock people out? That's what you call wild? You must be a loner at parties!"

While she watched with a cunning smirk as the man's head became bright red with veins popping out, inside her mind Sera was screaming... She kissed Bea, but she couldn't remember it! What a horrible twist of fate!

"I'm not a loner!" harrumphed the pervert. "I'm actually the heart of every party, because I'm none other than—"

Before he could've finished, Sera cut in...

"You look like someone I wouldn't let touch my drink, in fear of getting drugged. In fact, I'm certain you've raped many young women, maybe even men, because I'm pretty sure Greek gods don't care about gender. They use everyone to satisfy their fucked-up desires!"

The primordial god acted hurt, but he didn't deny anything Sera had accused him of. Instead, while she talked, his eyes continued moving across her body, further decreasing Sera's opinion about this creature people used to worship.

After a few seconds, he stood up and spread his hairy arms. A light chuckle echoed from his lips as he said, "Fine! You've got me, Last Angel! I live for my passions! The desires of a god! I can do anything I want! I can rape, murder, destroy, and even create whenever I desire!"

A shiver ran down Sera's spine upon hearing the word create. He probably wasn't building anything or creating art, and his seeds went everywhere, except into the ground!

The so-called god took a few steps closer until only a couple of meters separated him and Sera. From this close, she could smell the alcohol on the pervert.

Her breathing and face stayed in perfect calmness, not revealing the hatred and disgust she felt. She wanted to punch him in the face, but instead she awaited his next words, letting him dig his own grave.

"Don't try using your powers, Last Angel. I'm the alcohol supplier of this cozy establishment, and I made sure to lace your drink with something special. You should already feel its effects, the disconnect between you and your Essence!"

Indeed, Sera felt the awful sensation of being cut off from her powers. It was even worse than Harold's, which was a shame, since she had already developed immunity to that drug.

"So why didn't you do unspeakable things to me while I slept? Don't tell me you wanted to hear my screams of pain and horror! Will you be disappointed when I stay silent? Or better yet, do you even have the strength to rape me? I doubt you could lay a finger on my body without dying!"

The man smiled wickedly, then shook his head...

"While I love when my partners are a bit feisty and I also enjoy their screams, I didn't plan on doing anything unspeakable to your body. Instead, I came here to strike an accord with you, Lady Seraphine."

This outcome surprised Sera. She already decided about the man's fate, but she might as well hear him out. It could provide snippets of usable information!

"I heard you're planning on eliminating the entire Greek Pantheon. The others think they'll win against you, but I don't like taking chances. I, Dionysus, the God of Wine, Festivities and Ecstasy, hereby offer my help against the Greek Pantheon, but only if you'll spare me in the upcoming war!"

Sera couldn't hold in her laughter upon hearing Dionysus's request. She expected something ridiculous, but asking to be spared didn't cross Sera's mind.

The primordial god furrowed his eyebrows as his face became red once more.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to refuse. I don't need your help, and I find it insulting that you would suggest something so stupid! Also, I already promised your death to someone, and she's an amazing cook who I quite like and would never betray."

The Angel pulled her leg below herself and sat up on the couch, while keeping her entire body covered with the blanket. She felt a slight vibration moving across the necklace, which meant Bea was also awake.

Dionysus sighed and shook his head, ignoring all the warnings and signs of danger Sera threw in his direction. He didn't notice how confident and comfortable Sera looked even without having her Essence under control.

"Well, that's a shame. I guess I'll need to kill you. Get rid of the problem once and for all... Don't worry, I'll make it quick, since I've an appointment in a few minutes."

Before he could take a step or attack, Sera burst into laughter. With slow, deliberate movements, she climbed to her feet, still keeping the blanket cover over the front of her body.

"Make it quick, eh? I agree. I've a lot to do, and Odin will probably be pissed off I we're late... Anyway, let's get this over with. Faith, you know what to do!"

Sera let go of the blanket, which made Dionysus's eyes widen. However, before he got a glimpse of the Angel's perfect body, a dark, shadowy layer appeared around her skin, everywhere except her face.

The primordial god's eyes went wide as he recognized the darkness covering Sera's skin.

"You have a Shadow?!" cried out Dionysus, just as a painful pressure began growing in his body.

He felt as if sharp fingers were poking around his belly and lungs. The purple robes covering his body began dripping with blood as the fingers pushed through his skin.

However, his pains only just begun as the fingers dug deeper through his body. He felt them moving from his stomach, into the shoulders, arms, waist, legs, and even into the instrument he caused so much misery with between his legs.

The skin lifted off his muscles as screams of agony escaped his mouth. They continued crawling up, reaching his head. They avoided his vocal cords, so the screams could continue, and his brain, so the torment wouldn't end.

Shadowy appendages pierced his eyes and cut open his mouth, creating a smile, which connected both ears. His jaw detached and fell onto the ground, next to pieces of skin and flesh.

Organs rained from his chest, and soon the sound of cracking filled the air, as the shadows broke and pulverized all 206 bones in his body, one-by-one.

Faith didn't just kill the primordial god. He didn't deserve such light treatment, and she knew her Lady wouldn't bless him with mercy.

Sera stood nearby, watching with emotionless eyes as the darkness devoured Dionysus.
