"Oh, this is very interesting." Axir blinked. "Try to get cards that buff projectiles in any way. You can also do some creative thinking and use resources in a Card Constructor to create a synergizing neutral card for it."

A passive card that gives you a stack of something or creates an additional card of Witchcraft Shadow whenever your Twilight Bolt and other cards of your deck hit someone. And the effect of Witchcraft Shadows? Temporarily evolving a card of your deck based on the stacks you use on it. Or increasing the projectile speed of the next card, or adding a random debuff. But leave it to the game and see what it gives you first."

"Anyway, there’s no end to creativity." Axir grinned.

"Wow." Aunt Kira was dumbstruck. "That’s a really good idea. I’m gonna use it."

"Yep. You should." Axir grinned and stood up. "I also have to do some thinking and generate more cards for my deck now, so I’ll be meditating now. I don’t know what’s gonna happen when those Abyss Gates’ countdown hits zero, so I’ll have to prepare."

"I still want to just lie down and rest, so I’ll do that. But I am also hungry. You got any food here?"

"Yep." Axir took out a bunch of food from his Inventory and put it on the table.

Axir closed his eyes and also began brainstorming.

He wanted a deck-mechanism card as his deck’s third card first.

Deck-mechanism card was basically a passive card that can do ’something’ to boost one or multiple cards of the deck in ’some’ way.

’I have one card that generates gears. And another one that allows me to drift away no matter my present condition.’

Ananta Sunborn Forge | Prime 4-star. Librated Drift | Prime 4-star.

Both were godly cards.

One produced crazy weapons, each with a distinct flame core. It allowed him to generate another weapon with a specific flame core he had already discovered if his weapons were destroyed. However, he had prevented all of his weapons from being destroyed so far, thanks to the Weapon Enchanter deck that could easily restore durability.

Librated Drift was ultmate movement-type card. No matter his situation, whether he was bound by rope or by another card’s restrictive effect. He would be liberated from that and drift away.

’Now, how to make this deck more broken...’ Axir brainstormed.

’Ultimate attack. What if weapons could expend 99% of their durability for one ultimate attack? The restriction will grant me better ultimate. And I can just restore durability with the Weapon Enchanter deck’s card.’

’So the third card will be....Ultimate Call. A passive card that can generate one Ultimate Call if...if, if, if, if....yes. If I can reduce my current target’s health by 50% in 2 seconds. Perfect.’

Card Quality: Prime 8-star.

Effect:

—> By sacrificing a weapon, you can summon a Sunborn Spirit based on the weapon’s Flame Core.

—> Sunborn Spirits can last for 1 minute and come with a quest. If you complete the quest within 1 minute, the Sunborn Spirit can become permanent and will take a slot in the Armory.

’Interesting. Some changes, but I like this.’

He moved to Option 2.

Option 2.

[Ultimate Judgement]

Card Type: Passive.

Card Quality: Prime 8-star.

Effect:

—> If a target you attack loses 50% of its vitality within 2 seconds, you gain a special card, Ultimate Judgement. Ultimate Judgement can stack to evolve.

—> 1 card effect: Can be applied to an attack card and grants it an effect of inflicting -100% Defense Debuff for 3 seconds.

—> 5 card effect: can be applied to an attack card. Increase its damage by 1000%.

—> 10 card effect: can be applied to a projectile-based attack card. Multiply its projectiles by 10 and increase their damage by 100%.

’Tasty!’ Axir grinned. This card was straight and simple. And could scale crazy damage because he already had a setup for it.

Violent Sunbow Deluge. That card could already shoot 500 arrows easily with 50% mana cost. Multiply it by 10, and that’s insane: 5000 arrows, each one with 100% damage boost. Add the other two effects, and it’s over.

Axir was almost tempted to just choose it, but he held it in and looked at the third option.

Option 3.

[Liberated Forge Protocol]

Card Quality: Prime 9-star.

Effect:

—> Whenever you use Liberated Drift, automatically generate a phantom weapon card: Upon use, summons a random weapon with a random Flame Core that lasts for 5 seconds. This phantom weapon attacks the nearest enemy independently or a target you command it to once summoned.

—> If you drift 3 times within 5 seconds, the next weapon card created gains "Drifting Edge" effect: attacks phase through defenses and cannot be blocked or parried.

—> You can store up to 100 Phantom Weapon cards at a time.

’Interesting.’ Axir blinked. ’I can use Librated Drift 11 times within 5 seconds at my current stats, so that’s 11 weapons. Hmm, just a bit of increase in Agility, and I should be able to drift 12 times within 5 seconds. So three weapons will have Drifting Edge property.’

Axir looked at all three options.

’What should I choose? Tomorrow, Abyss Gates will open. The Infinite Breaker Online might turn it into an Event with some kind of rewards. With such changes already, I don’t know what else it will do in this run.’

Axir sighed as the annoying feeling returned.

This was it. When all options are good, and you can only choose one. The depressing thing being he could see absurd potential in all of them.
