In the end, Han Baiwei was able to silence his mother and he quickly bowed to everyone as an apology and left. His back was not standing straight and looked very dejected. The young man wasn’t even able to have a private conversation with Han Suwen because he must leave.

Han Baiwei knew that there’s a big possibility that they won’t be able to talk again after what happened. Aside from that, he also didn’t know how to. He feels so ashamed not just for all the wrong doings that he did but from what their— no, his family did.

Han Suwen was never treated as one. If it were in the past, he would arrogantly say that he doesn’t deserve being in the Han family, but right now the truth completely slaps him.

It was them who did not deserve to be his family.

And maybe this is what really should have been in the first place.

Meanwhile back to the training room, after all the eliminated trainees left, the remaining ten were called to the lounge area for an announcement.

Now sitting in the large area that used to be crowded and noisy, the trainees that were left suddenly felt a pang of emptiness around them. Even though ten is still a quiet plenty, there was an indescribable silence that is too different from where it used to be.

The trainees were also still at loss from the goodbyes earlier so they were a little down. Fortunately, Jiang Su, Lin Yu and Xi Xinyi came and stood in front of them.

"Hello trainees," Jiang Su greeted them with a smile. "I know the elimination is still fresh but right now, there’s an important announcement for the next round of competition."

"The next round will contain the last performances that you will do before the final line up for the debut night of this competition. Which means after this performance and voting, the final seven members will officially debut as a group." Jiang Su was straight forward and announced the important facts to them.

"!!!" The trainees were stunned. A grandfinal? So that means that any time from now on, the final stage that they’ve been waiting for will come?!

Nervousness quickly spread among them but Jiang Su was not finished.

"For the next and last round, you will perform three sets of live stage performances."

They were even more astonished. Three?! Is that too much?!

"The first set will be divided into two groups which will be the vocal and dance team. This will be personally led by the main mentors Lin Yu and Xu Xinyi. The second one is a stage group performance with all of the remaining trainees." Jiang Su paused. "And what you will be performing will be the OST ’Galaxy With You’ for our Lucky99 competition."

Jiang Su smiled a bit when he remembered the past first performance of these trainees when they did the OST challenge too. He’s anticipated to see how much they changed from that start to this end.

"For the last and third stage, you will be performing individually with a one-minute show off." But he was also more excited about the individual performance which will really emphasize their individuality. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

Another small commotion was once again built up from the continuous announcement. This is the last and the hardest challenge. How will they squeeze each for the given short period? Three performances in one night, will they go crazy for that intensity?

The company is truly ruthless this time.

"Next, we will now divide the group into two." A box was delivered by a robot on Jiang Su’s side. "The group will be arranged through simple luck. Please pick a paper inside the box according to the latest ranking and line up horizontally."

They quickly did what he instructed and virtual words for VOCAL and DANCE appeared, with vocals on Lin Yu’s side and Xu Xinyi on the dance team.

"Classmate Xing Ren, please open your paper and go towards your designated team." Xing Ren was ranked tenth and the first one to move.

"Vocal," the young man softly smiled and immediately went to Lin Yu’s side. Others also seconded until the final two groups were formed.

Lin Yu’s vocal team consists; Xing Ren, Sheng Yan, Chen Wei, Gu Yijin and Qin An.

Then to Xi Xinyi’s dance team were Shen Lou, He Yan, Han Suwen, Nan Moyi and Lu Nanxiao.

"For the group performance, I will be your mentor." Jiang Su smiles at them. "As for the individual performance, we will give you a special day to think creatively and discuss with Director Qian about your plans."

He also informed that there will be a specific given day to practice all three performances so they won’t be too overwhelmed. Since the company decided to give them a full two weeks of preparation, the trainees can focus on one thing to another.

"There will be a live global voting for the last performance that day so I hope each will do all their best to prove themselves worthy to survive until today and ready to debut. Best of luck, trainees!"

After the announcement, the two divided groups quickly went to their respective training room for a meeting.

"Hello, everyone." Lin Yu greets them with the usual smile on his face. "It feels good seeing all of you here again with me."

Lin Yu looked at the five members of the vocal group and a hint of interest grew inside him. The members here have a strong quality for their vocals, however they have their own variety of styles.

Sheng Yan and Xing Ren definitely have a gentle and soothing style whereas the remaining three were full of sharpness and explosiveness on stage. Although they can now adapt to different genres, vocals are really too hard to express.

"For your last performance in the vocal team, I prepared a special song for everyone." Lin Yu paused a bit. "It’s a self-composed song," he saw the surprise on their faces. "And I hope that this song brings something special to your performance on stage."

Lin Yu wrote a song entitled White Chamomile. It’s basically a song about a rebirth from everyone— emotional, slow and soothing. Completely different from the usual genres that they usually perform on stage.

As he said, only the two have actually the most suitable temperaments to perform this while others need a thorough adaptability. These three were like full of spikes and fierceness to prove themselves on stage, can they also put that down to express their softness?
