Black Online-Chapter 156: Kiss
Fang Raon’s eyes were blank and lifeless—he wasn’t moving—but then he blinked once and twice.
"Haah..."
He let out a long breath, and then he opened his eyes, but his eyes seemed unfamiliar and distant, as if it had been a long time since he had seen the world.
"Dear?"
Evelyn whispered with hope.
"...You are?"
Rickard asked with a frown.
He didn’t recognize her, and he didn’t quite understand why she was calling him "dear" when he hadn’t seen her ever before.
"It’s me... Evelyn!"
She said with a smile.
"Evelyn... My Evelyn?"
Rickard asked in shock, and Evelyn smiled with tears flowing down her eyes, and she nodded with a teary look.
She might look different, but there was no way he wouldn’t be able to recognize his wife’s manner of speech.
They slowly approached each other and hugged each other tightly—they seemed like they were almost melting into each other’s arms—a very lovely moment.
"Dear..."
"Evelyn..."
They looked at each other with tears in their eyes, and then their lips inched closer—the lips met in a soft, gentle kiss.
It was like the entire world around them froze in time.
At that moment, Evelyn and Rickard started glowing. Their ghosts vanished into the light. And the cemetery turned dark again.
"Mmh~"
Softly fluttering her eyes, Della opened her eyes, feeling something strange in her lips, and then she looked truly shocked.
She was looking straight into Fang Raon’s face. Their lips were locked in a passionate kiss.
"Mhm?"
Similarly, Fang Raon opened his eyes and came across Della’s surprised expression—he was equally surprised.
It was his first kiss, and the sensation of Della’s lips was unlike anything he had ever experienced before.
They were really soft and even felt like they were tingling with electricity.
Della’s expression seemingly melted as she relaxed into the moment, deepening the kiss, and her arms wrapped around his neck.
He couldn’t move away from the kiss anymore, and instead of doing that, he wrapped his arms around her waist.
Soft, damp smacks and gentle pops filled the air as they continued to kiss.
Humm~ Humm~ Humm~
At that moment.
They heard something humming near them, and Della was able to see the camera floating above them in the air.
"?!?!?!"
She quickly panicked and pulled out of the kiss—she was panting roughly—and she looked really flushed.
"T-The camera..."
She whispered.
"Oh no..."
Fang Raon pulled out the chat window and was afraid of what he would see there but then noticed something odd.
The chat was unusually calm.
[EnglishBee: Why can’t we see anything? Did the stream die?] 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
[Roudini: It just keeps showing this gold light. What is going on? What happened to Della? We want to see!]
"It... looks like the stream died?"
Fang Raon said.
"Did... that ghost use my spells against you? Light skill in particular?"
Della asked with a flushed look.
She couldn’t help but turn her gaze back to Fang Raon’s lips, and her chest grew tight with anticipation.
"Yes... she did."
Fang Raon said.
"That explains it... I never use that skill whenever I stream because it somehow messes up the stream. The stream looks to have crashed a while back."
Della said with a sigh of relief.
If they had seen that very passionate kiss just now, she would’ve most likely died out of embarrassment.
"Oh..."
Fang Raon let out a breath of relief.
Della then pulled out the chat window, thanked everyone in the chat for watching the stream, and said to them that the ghost was vanquished.
They were wondering why and were asking questions about how that happened, as the last thing they saw was Evelyn beating up Fang Raon.
She didn’t feel like asking every question that the chat had right now, and thus, she closed the chat window.
She wasn’t going to continue streaming for today.
"Thank you..."
Della then whispered, moving her hair over her ear, and looked at Fang Raon shyly—the memory of their kiss still occupying her mind.
"What for?"
Fang Raon asked.
"I saw it all. You gave away your body to save me. You went that far to save me, and I won’t forget it."
Della said with a smile.
"Oh... Haha, it’s not a big deal. I was gambling, but I know one thing about spirits—they linger at the world of mortals if they have some regrets.
"I thought that if she gets to meet her husband one last time, she will pass away into the afterlife."
Fang Raon said with a wry smile.
"Very clever."
Della said with a smile.
She also knew that Fang Raon was just downplaying it, but knew that he wasn’t saying the full truth.
The whole truth was that he just jumped into a small chance that Evelyn might actually give Della her body back.
A very small chance.
He didn’t think twice before jumping into that chance.
"This was supposed to be a fun event, but we ended up discovering a murder mystery and getting possessed by spirits.
"I am not sure about you, but I’d like to return back to the 15th floor~"
Della giggled.
"Mmh, I’d like that."
Fang Raon approached her and stood really close to her—she looked at him with her heart pounding in her chest—and she then hugged him.
They had to stand close, as she was planning to use Tower Pearl to return back to the 15th floor.
However, it wasn’t actually required to stand this close...
Fang Raon looked at her. The smile on her face melted his heart. She looked really lovely in the soft moonlight.
She then pulled out the Tower Pearl and activated it.
The mist engulfed them and took them away from the cemetery, leaving the crimson moon alone in the sky.
...
15th floor, the snow path between the Snowberry Village and the Rose Records Mansion.
"...Let’s keep it secret... What happened there... Okay?"
Della asked shyly.
"Of course."
Fang Raon said with a smile.
There was no way he would tell about this to anybody because Rock might find out, and he would actually kill him.
Their boots crunched on the snow under their feet. They were making their way down the short snow road. The snowflakes gently falling around them.
Rose Records Mansion was already visible in the distance.
"Guild master!"
At that moment, they heard a panicky cry and saw one of the Rose Records members running from over the mansion.
"Is everything alright?"
Della frowned.
She saw the panic in the person’s face and thought that something serious must’ve happened.
"We have visitors... A powerful guild from one of the higher floors... They are here to meet you and him."
The person said and also looked at Fang Raon, as he was the "him" whom he was talking about.
"A powerful guild? Who?"
Della asked with a serious look.
"Anna’s Angels!"
