BLOOD MUTANT SYSTEM.-Chapter 448: CH: HUMAN VS GRANIAN (PART 2)
[-15HP]
[Regeneration in Process]
’What a wild and reckless attack.’
As Ace healed from Granian Ace’s reckless assault, Granian Cherry and Cherry engaged in their own exchange.
The female clone, like its "brother," swung its blood blade repeatedly, releasing multiple slashes that formed sharp, versatile crescents.
Cherry, of course, dodged with ease and didn’t counter just yet. She was following her brother’s tactic—starting simple before escalating into more serious blood attacks.
Her opponent, however, had no intention of doing the same.
After its failed blade assault, the clone leaped several feet into the air and came crashing down toward Cherry. With arms wide open, it unleashed a rapid barrage of blood projectiles aimed directly at her head.
The Crimson Knight dodged all of them effortlessly and even managed to catch and throw a few projectiles back.
*SHLING* *SHLING* *SHLING*
The returned projectiles pierced through the clone’s body with ease, sending it crashing to the ground. The moment it hit, Cherry rushed forward and locked it in a chokehold. But instead of wrapping her hands around its neck, she forced her hands into its mouth and pulled its head back with all her strength.
*CRACK*
The Crimson Knight bent and snapped the clone’s head in a gruesome manner, killing it instantly.
"Well, that was easy."
Cherry smiled, but her brother yelled out a warning for her to get off its body.
But it was too late.
In less than a fraction of a second, blood spikes—each no shorter than twenty inches long—erupted from the clone’s body and impaled Cherry’s body in the blink of an eye.
While the spikes shot from its body, the clone’s shattered head and jaw regenerated as life was breathed back into its body.
’What the...what just happened?’
Because the spikes weren’t too far apart, multiple parts of Cherry’s body were impaled to the point where she looked like skewered pieces of meat.
Her right elbow, left thigh, lower back, right side of her chest, and right eye were all pierced. The longer she remained elevated, the more her weight forced her further down the spikes.
"CHERRY!!"
Ace screamed at the sight of her sister’s state and ran to her aid, but he had problems of his own.
His Granian lookalike bombarded him with several blood spike attacks that came nowhere close to hitting him.
However, the speed at which they moved made it hard for Ace to move anywhere else. The Granian clone blocked Ace’s path, preventing him from reaching his sister.
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!!"
With a single swipe, Ace unleashed a sharp crescent of blood that sliced through the incoming spikes—and through the clone itself—severing it in half.
Once his obstruction was out of the way, Ace launched himself into the air using blood tendrils. Just as he was about to get closer to Cherry, several tendrils wrapped around his waist and slammed him back into the ground.
At the same time, Granian Cherry’s regeneration was complete.
The clone stood up and faced its skewered victim, its golden reptilian eyes scanning the extent of damage it had inflicted.
"Impressive." Cherry grinned and then clenched her fist, liquifying all the blood spikes into a massive pool of blood.
Freed from her torment, Cherry’s body began to regenerate rapidly, but not as quickly as the clone’s.
Still, as soon as most of her wounds healed, the Crimson Knight prepared to return the favor.
Using all the liquified blood, she created blood clones in her image, about eight in total.
The blood that remained was turned into a blood spear with a jambia-shaped blade at its tip
The clones made the same weapon as Cherry did, and to add further confusion, her opponent, Cherry, covered her entire body in blood, making her one hundred percent indistinguishable from her clones.
"Let’s try this again."
While Cherry and her eight clones attacked Granian Cherry, the Blood Prince turned his frustration toward his own Granian clone.
Thankfully, his sister had gotten herself out of the clone’s attack. However, he grew agitated at the way the clone interrupted his attempt at playing hero.
The two Aces faced each other once more. Now that Cherry was okay, the clone had Ace’s undivided attention, all aspects of it.
The clone spread its arms apart and formed six blood tendrils on its back. Blood spears formed in its hands while the tips of its tendrils hardened.
Agitated, the Blood Prince now reconsidered whether he was going to rely on his natural strength or start using blood abilities.

An incentive had been given. Ace could now try out some of his tactics on the Granian mockery of his image.
Throwing aside the "go easy on them first" tactic, Ace opted to incorporate both his physical strength and blood abilities on the clone.
[Partial Transformation Skill: Activated]

The two Aces lunged at each other simultaneously, both with transformed arms ready to injure the other.
Granian Ace launched all six tendrils at Ace with the intention of impaling his vital organs.
The Blood Prince grabbed all the tendrils mid-air, pulled on them with all his might, and drove his foot straight into the clone’s face. The impact shattered scales and knocked out several teeth, but the clone wasn’t out yet.
Meanwhile, Ace touched the clone’s skin and activated his Blood Drain and Blood Sucker skills at once. As soon as he did, he siphoned every drop of blood from the clone’s body, turning it into a vain husk of dried skin, muscle, and bone.
[Kills: 2/25]
[All stats have been increased by one point.]
