Broken Story: Reborn as a Villainess Author-Chapter 47: You both can bare me a child?
Slash!
Slash!
The head of an A-rank orc rolled across the ground as its body dropped with a loud thud.
Nieves flung her blade back and forth, shaking off the green blood before returning it to its sheath.
Around her, Skye and Lukene had finished up with the remaining of the horde. Eilette laid on a smooth, cozy bed she had made and slept all the way through.
Unlike the nobles’ team, Nieves and her mates had been slaughtering monsters as soon as they stepped into the dungeon.
Wave after wave, they progressed without any issue.
Chiara returned from surveying the path ahead of them. "Good work, everyone... From here on out to the boss room is clear—no monsters."
"Finally!" Skye pulled out his katana from the heart of a huge goblin. "It was starting to get boring with these weaklings."
"You always look bored..." Lukene said.
"I guess it’s because I am always surrounded by weaklings... Sighs."
Chiara ignored their bickering and glanced at Nieves, who stayed silent and continued slaying the small monsters.
Unlike the others, Nieves was a new student who had barely any battle experience... She was the only young one and the weakest of them by a huge margin.
’She has spirit... That’s nice,’ Chiara thought as she signaled for them to follow her.
Lukene went over to where Eilette lazed about. While the others fought, she simply cast a spell to attract the monsters to her and kill them when they entered ten feet of her barrier.
Then she dozed off.
Lukene passed through a ton of dead bodies before finally reaching her and carrying her like a baby. "Come on... Let’s go."
They all began to walk down a linear path. There was no ice in sight; there was at the beginning before their dungeon path was sealed.
Ever since then, they felt constant heat. For a place called Winter of the Sky, the dungeon had two paths.
One for extreme cold and one for extreme heat.
Skye constantly used his Arcana energy to cool his team off, allowing them to fight without issue.
Nieves looked at him as they walked. He didn’t pant or show any sign of stress or fatigue. That alone was impressive considering they had been in the dungeon for over three hours.
They continued walking until they reached the foot of a massive door to what seemed like the end.
It was at least two hundred feet tall; the top was barely visible. On both sides of the door stood two strange-looking statues, carved like guardians wielding large swords.
Chiara inspected the door closely, her fingers feeling the texture and contours of its surface.
"This is it..." She said in a low tone. "The boss room."
Skye let out a wicked smile filled with joy as he cracked his neck. "Let’s get this over with!"
Chiara placed both hands on the door and pushed. Despite its size, it was really light and easy to open.
It groaned loudly as it slowly swung open. On the other side was nothing but complete darkness.
The group exchanged glances behind Chiara, then stepped in.
The moment they all crossed the entrance, the door slammed behind them, making a loud sound.
Boom!
Lights came on in alignment at both sides of the room. It had a massive distance that went in deep. The ceiling was very high with chandeliers hanging that shone light from above.
At the far end of the room, a pale-looking figure sat on a throne.
He had the shape of a human with long dark hair that glided down his shoulders. A single horn was visible on his head; it had two sharp edges like a knight’s sword.
He sat slouched on his throne, his chin resting on one hand. He was asleep.
Chiara and her team walked slowly toward him, not making a single sound.
They stopped a few hundred feet away from the stairs that led to the throne, and Chiara drew her weapon.
"Are you the dungeon boss!" she said loudly enough to disturb the sleep of the being on the throne.
"..."
For a moment there was silence.
The horned demon didn’t move or even look at them.
Chiara let out a breath and opened her mouth to speak again, however she was interrupted before she could finish the first word.
"Yes, yes... I am, now please leave me alone... Let me sleep!" He said, shifting the position of his chin to the other arm.
Chiara held her sword tighter and said to her team: "Prepare for battle!"
They all cloaked their blades in Arcana energy and readied their stances. All of their expressions became serious and focused.
Chiara jumped forward with explosive speed as she closed the distance between her and the horned demon in an instant. Her sword aimed for his head from above, targeting the top of his horn.
"..."
Then everything paused. Time stopped.
Chiara stayed in the air, frozen in her position, her blade inches from reaching the demon.
Behind her, Skye, Lukene, Eilette, and Nieves were all frozen in their movements, halted in their actions.
The horned demon stood up from his throne; he was at least seven feet tall. "They never learn... Although..." He sighed.
He inspected Chiara’s body, touching her proportions and measuring her.
’This one can beat my children...’ He nodded and reached out and grabbed Chiara by the waist. With a flick of his wrist, her robe burned down to ashes, leaving her in nothing but her plain long undergarments.
He pulled her onto his lap and sat back on the throne.
Snap! 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
He snapped his fingers, causing time to resume at its normal pace.
"..."
For Chiara and the others, it was like a scene change in reality. One moment, she was in the air; the next she was in plain clothes sitting on the lap of the demon.
In front of her, the sword she held was in ashes, alongside her actual clothes.
"What the hel—?!" She tried to move, but his arm was wrapped around her waist, holding her firmly in place.
"Calm down, human..." The demon said, finally opening his eyes. They were pitch black with red pupils. He looked more like a devil than a demon with them open.
"I am not going to hurt you... I need you for something else."
Chiara’s face turned red with both embarrassment and fury. "Let go of me!"
She struggled with all her might... But it was futile. The demon was at least a hundred times—if not more—stronger than her.
The demon ignored her and closed his eyes back to sleep.
Skye, on sight, vanished alongside Lukene. The distance was covered in no time.
"Let go of our captain!" Skye threw Arcana energy in solid form shaped as a blade toward the horned demon.
Lukene, on the other hand, went in for close combat after being boosted with a lot of enchantments from Eilette.
Nieves was far behind as she wasn’t as fast as the rest of them, but she drew her sword and charged it.
Rage burned in all their eyes.
The demon opened his eyes again. "What’s all this noise?"
With just a simple narrowing of his eyes, Skye and Lukene were slammed to the floor in an instant.
A demonic pressure held them down with absolute dominance, shattering their bones slowly.
Nieves had already gotten to the stairs. With a single step, her sword was inches away from reaching his eyes.
The horned demon smiled.
As it neared, he wasn’t even focused on it... He was focused on her body.
’Hmm, she has the same proportions... Even better than this human.’ He thought as he vanished to her back, examining her waist with one hand.
Nieves’ face turned red with shock as she swung her sword backward.
"Don’t touch me!" The sword hit the horned demon.
However, it did not affect or injure him in any way. He was still not even focused on that.
"You can bear my children too... Hmmm," he said bluntly.
Nieves saw her sword did not do anything even after being embedded with Arcana energy.
She tried to go backward to create some distance, but she was caught by the demon by the waist and pulled in the way Chiara was.
Eilette tried to cast a spell to aid her mates.
With one glance from the demon, she was rendered unconscious.
’Tsk! The hell is this dominance!’ Skye thought, trying to force his way to overcome the pressure, but it was too strong still.
Chiara and Nieves continued their struggle, moving back and forth to escape the tight grip.
"Stop moving," the demon said, looking down at them.
However, they even increased their intensity.
"Sighs... I always liked humans when they were unconscious anyway..." He hit both their heads together just enough to make them lose consciousness.
Then he glanced at Lukene and Skye; they fell unconscious as well.
Finally, the room was silent again.
The demon walked to the side of his throne. A door opened and he stepped in, leaving the others to die as he summoned low-level monsters to kill them.
