For a moment, Rocky’s heart almost tightened as he looked at the ranking board. He slightly rubbed his left chest while stammering,
’’It’s really fucking unfair.’’
At that moment, he could tell one thing for sure.
He would never reach the top 500—even 1000—if he was still stuck in this low-tier area.
(I think I shouldn’t summon the ranking board again until I find a way to escape this trashy place, at least.)
Obviously, he could imagine that with each passing day, the gap between him and the candidates in the higher-tier areas would only grow—even to a point where the distance would shock even him.
It would just destroy his motivation if he looked at it again next time.
But when looking at the top 1 player, who even stood above Scarlett, Rocky felt curious. It seemed that the player was related to Alina.
Rocky asked.
’’Do you know the top 1 player? Doran Hill. He’s an elf too?’’
Alina’s expression froze and turned pale for a moment when she heard that name. She lowered her head, completely ignoring Rocky’s question.
It looked like she did know him, but their relationship wasn’t as good as he had thought. Well, he would ask her about that player later.
Rocky let out a long breath before standing up. He said,
’’Let’s go. We’re going to earn some points.’’

’’Rocky... I have an omen about you.’’ Alina held her head in pain while groaning.
Rocky turned his attention to her and stepped closer. He was ready to hear it. It might be a clue for him. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
Alina frowned, struggling to recall the vision she had seen.
’’I saw you being killed by an ape wearing jet-black armor.’’
Rocky’s pupils widened for a moment.
An ape wearing jet-black armor? He could tell that ape was Bobby 100%, but Bobby would kill him?
What nonsense!
He scratched his head in confusion. This information was really strange and absurd. However, he was a rational person. He appreciated this omen, even if it was negative.
It had to be true, and he would find the reason why his beast attacked him.
Three hours later.
Rocky and Alina were killing crabs as usual.

Rocky brandished his longsword several times before glancing at Alina, who was fighting the crabs alongside her raven.
Her combat skills were average — not good, not bad. However, it wasn’t enough for her to earn more points to survive in this area. Especially when she used that blade. Her movements weren’t flexible since the blade was quite heavy.
After killing one or two crabs, her breathing began to grow ragged and uneven.
"Ahhh!" Diana stumbled forward when a crab attacked from her blind spot. She barely managed to keep her footing, breathless. Sweat ran down her beautiful face.
At some point, a dozen crabs surrounded her, leaving no way to escape.
Her raven swiftly stood in front of her, spreading its wings to protect its master. Yet the feathers on its wings were quite sparse, so it wasn’t nearly dangerous enough to threaten the crabs.
It looked like an old penguin trying to scare off aggressive predators.
Rocky summoned a longbow and shot a series of arrows, killing a batch of crabs. Soon, no crabs dared to approach Diana.
Rocky sighed and walked over to her. It seemed he couldn’t head to another place to hunt monsters if Diana still couldn’t handle this one.
Diana struggled to stand upright and lifted her blade. Her eyes gleamed stubbornly as she said,
"Don’t protect me. It makes me feel like a burden."
Rocky shrugged his shoulders.
"I’m not protecting you. I’m just stealing your points."
Then the next moment, he asked,
"Why don’t you use a lighter sword? I don’t think that blade is proper for you."
Diana hesitated for a while, then shook her head.
"I won’t... My sister told me this one suits me."
Rocky rubbed his chin in confusion. Even if his swordsmanship came from Bobby’s skill, his eyes were sharp enough to tell that blade didn’t fit her at all.
He summoned a rapier and threw it to her.
"Let’s give it a try. You don’t have the right to refuse. You’re dragging me down if you’re still at this level."
Rocky made his voice heavier to threaten her.
"I’m just trying to help you. Don’t be stubborn."
Instinctively, Diana lowered her head again and accepted Rocky’s demand. She groaned in annoyance.
"Y-You’re bullying me."
Rocky shrugged indifferently, trying to hide his smirk.
(It’s fun for me.)
Diana tightened her grip on the rapier and headed toward a nearby horde of crabs. She gritted her teeth, glaring at the monsters as if they were her number one enemy.
She seemed ready to pour all her rage onto them.
The first clash began.
Surprisingly, she completely overpowered the monsters. Her movements were slippery and flexible. She danced across the battlefield, nonstop finishing her enemies off.
Her blows weren’t powerful like Rocky’s, yet once an enemy was struck, it would die. The tip of the rapier simply pierced through the gaps in their carapaces and into their organs.
She performed with ease, as if she were a natural — something Rocky could rarely do.
With her slender body, she slid across the crabs and killed them in single strikes, barely damaging their carapaces, as if they were just sleeping on the sandy beach.
After slaughtering them like a delicate cook — unlike Rocky’s brutal style — she slowly landed on her feet.
Her breathing was rapid and uneven.
Glancing at Rocky, who was approaching her, she snarled in irritation.
"Y-You see? It doesn’t suit me."
The side of Rocky’s face twitched for a moment.
"Tch. I can tell one thing... Your sister is a blind bitch."
