By Seeing Beasts' Training Paths, My Beast Became Invincible-Chapter 55: My beast is that ape
"I-Impossible. My sister always told me—"
However, her voice caught in her throat as she tried to find a reason to deny Rocky’s sharp explanation.
Her mind was completely blank at that moment.
Rocky sighed and stepped closer, gently patting her head. He could somewhat understand her situation.
Her sister had concealed her talent by making her use an unsuitable weapon. Alina possessed huge potential in swordsmanship, not even needing any skills from her beast — a terrifying talent that even made Rocky feel jealous.
So her sister had discovered it and made sure she would never grow it — a cruel method from her own sibling.
But who was he to talk about her family? He wouldn’t advise her anything. She had to resolve her own business with her own hands.
Rocky intended to withdraw his hand, yet Diana groaned weakly.
"I-I want it... for a bit."
Rocky blinked for a moment and smirked. He continued to rub her head as if an older brother were comforting his younger sister.
(She makes me miss Nicole.)
Fifteen minutes later.
Rocky stood beside Alina, who was sitting there quietly. Her eyes were hollow as she stared into nothing.
However, Rocky thought she had enough time to collect herself, so he cleared his throat.
"So, what will you do next?"
She blinked a few times, snapping out of her foggy state, and said,
"I must survive... to ask her. Why did she do that to me?"
Rocky nodded to himself and said,
"Good spirit. Keep that rapier. It’s my gift."
Alina looked at the obsidian rapier. Its shiny blade reflected her flawless face, especially her jet-black eyes, which gleamed sharply.
"Thank you. I owe you."

At this time, Rocky decided to choose another hunting ground—somewhere that could satisfy his desire to earn more points before the sun went down.
They walked leisurely across the uneven land, small rocks scattered everywhere. Sometimes they spotted lone monsters, but they chose to ignore them and kept moving forward.
Their goal was a horde of monsters that could meet their needs.
At some point, Rocky and Alina frowned as a deafening yell mixed with sobbing rang out from somewhere nearby.
’’M-Mercy!... Aaaaahhhhh!’’
Rocky exchanged a nod with Alina before the two of them headed toward the source of the pained screams.
After five minutes of searching, Rocky and Alina finally found it. Their pupils widened in shock as they witnessed the scene ahead.
A gigantic ape clad in jet-black armor was mercilessly slaughtering a group of beast tamers.
"You killed my beast! You must die!" a male elf roared, his eyes bloodshot. He dashed toward the gigantic ape with a sword in his hand. But the ape just chuckled, as if mocking the elf’s stupidity.
That was right. Once beast tamers lost their beasts, they were nothing more than ordinary beings.
The gigantic ape summoned a nodachi, an oversized katana. His eyes sparked with killing intent as he slowly walked past the elf.
The elf staggered several times before collapsing, his head severed from his body. His eyes still held that same expression—the expression of hatred, without a hint of agony. It seemed that slash was executed with masterful swordsmanship; the ape cut the elf down as easily as slicing sugarcane.
A man with a tense face asked his fellows,
"Hey, have you found its master?"
A pale-faced man groaned helplessly.
"No. We don’t see any beast tamer within a 200-meter radius except us. It looks like that ape is a freed beast."
The man’s face twisted in disbelief as he roared,
"Nonsense!"
"You’re telling me that beast is killing us just because it hates us?.. I’m sure its master is hiding around here, commanding it."
One of the group complained,
"So, what do we do now? At this rate, we’re going to die."
The man clenched his teeth and fists helplessly before yelling,
"Do we have any other choice? Kill that beast!"
All of them screamed and rushed at the gigantic ape.
However... They stood no chance against it.
The deafening screams echoed eerily as time passed, until not a single beast tamer was left alive.
The gigantic ape slaughtered all their beasts and cut them into pieces. Their organs were scattered everywhere, blood soaking the ground crimson.
The ape dismissed the nodachi and glanced around lazily before picking up the corpses of humans and elves.
He tossed them into an oversized sack as if they were nothing more than common trash. In the end, he slung the sack over his shoulder and headed off to another place.
Alina’s head was spinning after witnessing the brutal scene. The moment she landed on her feet, tears overflowed from her eyes as she bent over and vomited.
Rocky shook his head slightly and rubbed her back.
(Perhaps she has never killed an elf before.)
Two minutes later.
She glanced at Rocky, her eyes still wet and red from before.
Don’t go near that beast. I’m sure about it. That ape is the one who’d kill you’’
She added weakly,
"To possess such a cruel beast, its master must be the same kind of person. A merciless, brutal bastard."
Rocky scratched the back of his head in confusion. He hesitated for a moment and said,
’’Actually, there’s one thing I still haven’t told you.’’
He added,
’’Have you seen my beast yet?’’
Alina frowned and suddenly remembered what she had overlooked from the very beginning. She hadn’t seen Rocky’s beast.
She had unconsciously ignored such a basic thing since Rocky himself had shown overwhelming power without any support.
Rocky himself was already strong enough to fight any horde of monsters. He didn’t even need a beast to support him. But thinking about it—if his beast was always by his side, just how strong would he be?
She could only imagine what that moment would look like.
(Right... How could I miss something so basic? To have such destructive power, his beast must come from a red zone with a calamity rank.)
Yet Rocky’s next words completely crushed her thoughts.
’’My beast is that ape.’’
