All attendees, including Theo who received an invitation from Maya, were present at Mary’s dinner gathering in the grand Welsh mansion. Amy ensured that Mitch, Dave, and Ava were also invited, as they are not only her employees but also among her closest friends.

Without any prior knowledge of the purpose behind Mary’s dinner party, she refrained from inquiring about it, following Henry’s suggestion to wait for the announcement rather than seeking information proactively.

Arriving ahead of schedule at the Welsh mansion, Mary and Anton took charge of preparing the dining area with a glam and glitz theme. They decorated the room with lavish decorations featuring golden-colored items, rhinestones, glitter, and sparkly decor.

Furthermore, Mary had specifically instructed all guests to dress in their most extravagant party attire, emphasizing the theme of a flashy and extravagant atmosphere.

The workers in the mansion were filled with excitement upon witnessing the magnificent transformation of the decor, despite the fact that the party was intended for a small gathering of fewer than twenty individuals. However, Mary extended her invitation beyond the guests and urged everyone in the mansion to participate, noting that she had an important announcement to share with all.

The day seemed to fly by as everyone was engrossed in the preparations for the party, and before they knew it, the appointed time had arrived, and all the guests promptly showed up.

Amy chose to wear a captivating gold sequined halter mini skirt that featured an alluring open back, while Henry opted for a classic combination of black shirt and slacks, complemented by a stylish black and gold brocade jacket. Similarly, the ladies in attendance followed suit by adorning themselves in alluring and sparkling outfits, contributing to the overall atmosphere of sensuality and glamour.

With everyone in attendance, the evening commenced with a lavish dinner that Mary had personally selected for the chef to prepare. The meal began with a delectable appetizer—a green apple, pecan, and gorgonzola salad, accompanied by a side serving of tangy green apple vinaigrette. The servers also attended to the guests by offering glasses of refreshing strawberry orange sangria to complement the flavors of the appetizer.

It was followed by the first course that consisted of tantalizing goat cheese ravioli accompanied by grilled zucchini, citrus notes, and a delectable herb-infused brown butter sauce. For the main entree, the chef skillfully prepared seared grouper, accompanied by a tangy lime butter sauce, a flavorful tomato basil relish, a side of caviar rice, and tender broccolini.

Undoubtedly, the highlight of the meal was the indulgent dessert—a delightful combination of strawberry brownie skewers accompanied by a luscious peppermint cheesecake dip. This sweet finale brought immense joy to everyone present, showcasing their shared penchant for delectable treats and confirming that each individual possesses a sweet tooth in their own unique way.

"I believe I won’t be able to eat anything until tomorrow," exclaimed Amy, resting her hands on her noticeably full stomach. "I ate a lot in just one sitting, and everything was absolutely delicious," she added, expressing her satisfaction with the scrumptious meal.

"That’s a valid point, Mary. Your selection of dishes is truly outstanding. However, if I may ask, what is the reason behind this gathering that led to my invitation as well?" Theo mustered the courage to ask the question that had been on everyone’s mind.

Mary glanced at Anton, who shared her uncertainty about the impending announcement. With a chuckle, she suggested, "Shall we wait for Rei to return? It’s important to make sure that everyone is here before we continue." Mary noticed that Rei had not yet returned from the restroom, prompting her to suggest a brief delay.

Everyone agreed to wait and chat with people around them while waiting.

"Ahem, ahem. Can I have everyone’s attention please," Rei cleared his throat as he stand at the end of the long table together with Charles who was holding a guitar. The sight of the two made everyone stare at them in confusion.

Rei looked at each person in the room to see if he has their attention before his gaze landed on Sandra. He lifted the wireless microphone that he was holding before started singing his song as Charles strums on his guitar.

"𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘥," Rei then started to walk towards Sandra who was shocked at how good his voice is.

"𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶," Rei took a velvet box from his jacket’s pocket and kneel with one knee in front of Sandra, making her gasp and covered her mouth with both hands and her eyes welled up.

"𝘖𝘩 𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘰 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦, 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶..." Rei’s tears fell down, beating Sandra to it.

"Please, please, make my dreams come true and make me the happiest man on Earth. Sandra, I love you so much and I can no longer live without you by my side. Will you marry me?" Rei said after opening the velvet and presenting Sandra with the diamond ring inside it.

Sandra cried and everyone watching wiped their tears of joy for the couple. But when the answer that everyone is waiting for, especially Rei, is taking longer than expected, Maya couldn’t help but shout at her sister playfully.

"Just how long are you going to make us all wait? Just say yes already!" Maya cheerfully exclaimed and everyone laughed.

Sandra wiped her tears then Rei’s, "Of course, I will marry you!"

Rei exhaled loudly, it was only then that he noticed that he was holding his breath as he wait for Sandra’s answer. He hurriedly picks up the diamond ring with his trembling hands making the velvet box tumble down the floor, making everyone laugh again including him.

"Relax man, she already said yes," Theo who was behind him jested as he help him look for the ring.

"Here..." Sandra said while giving Rei the ring that rolled under her chair, "You can now put it on me," Sandra then handed over her hand and Rei placed the ring on her finger.

Everyone cheered and screamed in joy as soon as the diamond right was securely placed on Sandra’s finger, as they congratulated the now-engaged couple.
