Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 229: Papa - II
"This, this, this and this..." Arabella then seemed to debate between a Pikachu and a jigglypuff stuffy, "um..both?"
Evelyn could not control the last that burst out of mouth.
Her two foot and three inches tall daughter had her arms filled with stuffies that will now too much for her to carry and the falling down on the floor.
"Do you want me to get a cart?" Evelyn offered barely able to control her laugh and suppress her smile. "It might help you carry all of it."
"Please, Mummy." Came the small voice of a daughter behind the giant wall of stuffies.
Evelyn turned around to get the court as she had told her daughter only to be held by the guard as another one brought the cart towards them.
"Here, baby," she pulled the cart closer to her daughter, "dump them all in."
That was exactly what her daughter did but needed the help of her mother to be pulled up so that she could throw everything in the cart.
"Wow," she gasped at the sight of her toys. Her head whipped what’s the direction of her mother and with a giant smile, she pointed to the cart, "can I keep them all, mummy?"
"Yes," her answer was immediate, "even more of you like."
Her eyes remained on her daughter as she watched the toddler put everything into the cart that attracted her attention.
Saying no to her daughter would break her heart after depriving her off so many things for the past two years because they had to constantly move.
Today watching her feel the cart satisfied her to her heart’s content. Her little feat waddled across the floor as her eyes moved across the miles to find the toys that she would later put on the cart which Evelyn was moving behind her so that she would not have to come back for it.
It was after half an hour at least and with a full cart, that they now made their way to the cashier.
"Do you think I should put some back?" Arabella played with her fingers as she looked down at them and not at Evelyn. "Where will we keep them?"
Aww, bless her heart.
She placed a loud kiss on her daughter’s cheek. "Wherever you want them to."
The guards took the shopping bags from the cashier and one of them went back to the car to keep them.
"Now, where?"
"Hmmm," Evelyn wondered loudly. "What do you think about buying some pretty dresses for you?" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
"Noo," Arabella sang the word with a point on her face.
"Why?"
"Umm," she bit her lip before saying, "we have no money."
Evelyn burst out laughing at that. "Oh, love," she shook her head, "nevermind that."

"And this?" Arabella twirled around in the dress to show Alexis. "What do you think?"
Alexis hummed and gave her a thumbs up. "You look like a princess!"
"Yes!" With her small fist punched into the air, Arabella yelled, "Princess rule!"
"Yes!" Alessia nodded and turned to her mum Bella, "I like her. Keep her?"
Bella sputtered for a reply, "We cannot keep someone. However she is now your cousin and you will see her everyday if you want." Bella certainly gave her daughter a look that definitely said ’we would talk about it later’. Thankfully Alessia did not stress on it much and left it there and then before running off with Arabella.
"She is so cute," Alexis sighed and if possible she had heart shaped eyes. "I wished for a nice daughter like her and ended up with this one."
Something told Evelyn that Bella Rosa was more devious than what she seemed at this age. For a moment she was scared of letting her daughter near Alessia.
"Hey," Bella was quick to defend herself, "I am a very good daughter just so you know."
"Yes I’m sure," Alexis agreed but then ended up shaking her head to herself. Turning to Evelyn, Alexis handed her the dresses she had in her hands, "she is a beautiful child, Evelyn. I am very happy that you made the decision of adopting her."
Smiling, Evelyn thanked her.
Even though it hurt a little too think about how her child was being called adopted that was the reality because she had not given birth to her Bella.
"I know right," Bella Rosa chuckled, "the kid is such a rare gem. My kid would have definitely through the place upside down—"
The moment Bella said the word down they all heard a loud crash making them jump on their spot before they heard,
"Umm, Mummy?"
Evelyn’s heart dropped.
"I think Alecia did something bad." Arabella’s hesitant voice rang out in the store along with the terrible pronunciation of the word s.
"SNITCH!"
"AHBHH!" Arabllea yelled and Evelyn darted across to her. "Mummy, she is throwing water at me!"
"Alessia stop!" Bella Rosa picked her up and turned her away before snatching the water gun away. "Why did you get this from? How did you sneak it past the nanny?’
"Snitches die!" Alessia roared before lunging at Arabella who was now in the arms of her mother.
Arabella, on the other hand, was bawling her eyes out at the outrageous and constant threats by her cousin she had shoved her face in her mother’s neck.
"Baby," Evelyn cooed, "it’s okay. Mummy is here." All she heard her cries of her daughter who was too scared to even look up and had clung onto her mother.
"SNIT—"
"That’s it," Evelyn snapped, "Bella Rosa control your child!"
A thick blanket of silence descended on all of them and for a moment even Alessia stopped. Everyone in the store and the young Donna who was holding on to her crying child.
"Next time I see her," she pointed to Alessia, "I expect an apology for the behaviour. Yes?"
"Yes, Donna." Bella Rosa gulped and nodded.
Not waiting around to allow her daughter to be more traumatised, Evelyn turned around and left. Mall day, her ass.
