Chapter 296: The rescue - II

Evelyn gasped.

The third man unveiled himself and she almost fainted on the spot. The sick smile he sent her was sickening. Even from afar, his intentions were very clear not that he bothered hiding them at all.

"A Hundred million, gentlemen." the emcee announced. "Do we have a hundred and ten million?" no one answered him and Evelyn almost begged the crowd to counter with something. Anything was better than him. Anything.

"A hundred million going once, Going twice," he raised something in the air, "and sold!" he hit something On the podium that he was standing on, Evelyn flinched at the sound.

"Take her!" The emcee roared at someone.

Evelyn felt a hand over her arm which dragged her behind the curtain.

"Let go!" She yelled at the top of her lungs and pulled her back only for the man that was pulling her to stop and slap her.

Gripping her chin, he tilted her head up and sneered into her face. "I ain’t here to deal with your bitchy attitude, understand?"

He squeezed her cheeks harder. " next time you try to pull your head out of my grip, I will put your fucking come out of your socket." With the last squeeze on her cheeks, he let Evelyn go before taking her hand and pulling her forward with renewed force.

At this moment, she could only hope that Gia was going to keep her promise. Otherwise, Evelyn was done for.

After this, she would surely be handed to that man.

Maintaining his unrelenting grip on her hand, he came to stop in front of a door before pulling out a bunch of keys in his pocket. He unlocked the door and pushed her inside before locking it again.

A single bulb lit the entire room. But that was more than what she could ask for. At least she was not in a completely dark room.

Her legs shook continuously. She palmed her cheeks before exhaling loudly. What is she going to help her? Where was Gia?!

This was the window that she could possibly use before getting her out. If Gia let this one go, then how the hell was she supposed to rescue her after she had been given to that man?

The door opened and the same man.. No. Evelyn realized it was not the same man.

"You!" she hissed and pointed her finger at the man. "How dare you-"

"Start Learning darling Evelyn." he sighed and leaned against the wall to the door. "It would pain me to see your bruised face."

"If you think that you can get me out of here, you are mistaken." with renewed strength, she sneered at him. "Salvatore will kill you."

"If he could," he started to walk towards her, "then I dont think I would have been able to buy his wife."

Raising his hand, he trailed it down her cheek and to her neck only for her to push him away. He tsked. "You will learn not to push me away."

"Fuck off."

He chuckled. "Aye, what a wonderful mouth." within a second his smile was gone and her his hand was in her hair, pulling them from her scalp and making her yelp. "This is going to be your new life, Ms. Bianchi, and my advice would be to do as I say. Otherwise," he glanced at her belly, "the youngest Alessandro might not make it into the world."

Her blood ran cold and all the thrashing around stopped momentarily. He knew? Matt had told him. Shit.

That was the biggest upper hand he could have in this situation.

"If you behave, I might let you raise him in my house." he chuckled. "Would you like that or would you like to raise my child?" 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

Evelyn scoffed, the pain not yet forgotten. "I would kill before you touch me-Ah!" she was turned around and in an instant was pushed over his knee with her stomach dangerously close to his knee.

"One push, Evelyn," he warned, "one push and this baby would be dead and that would be on you."

A silent gasp left her mouth. Slowly, she looked down to find his knee dangerously close to her womb. If he pressed her hard, she might end the losing the baby.

"No," the word left her mouth, "please, no, please," she begged.

She heard his laugh and was pulled back up by her hair. He stared at her face and Evelyn did not bother hiding her dimmed expression and diminished hopes.

He had the leverage and he wa not average to use it.

His hand left her hair and she stepped back. "This is going to be fun. I’ll be back to take you to your new home."

******

Where was Gia? Evelyn windered from where she sat in the room as her legs were no longer holding her. How much she be so fucking stupid to let an offer of $100 million go?!

Her head whipped around at the sound of keys juggling and then the lock clicking. Shit! This soon?

The door opened a little and Gia’s head popped in. "Found you," she closed her eyes for a brief second before coming in.

"Come with me," she closed the door and came in. Gia pulled a knife out of somewhere. She cut the rope that was binding Evelyn’s hands and hid the knife underneath her jacket. "Come, we don’t have much time."

Gia went out first and with a thorough look in the hallway, she waved Evelyn out. Gia was in the front and Evelyn followed her from behind. Her shaking hands gripped the cut ropes in them. What was she carrying them for? She had absolutely no idea. But since she held them tightly in her hands, the shaking seized.

How big was this place? It did not end! They had to get out before he returned.

"Okay," Gia nodded and turned to look at Evelyn. The tension was visible on her face too and the fear as well. "Now, I have a car outside. When we reach there, you hide under the backseat and cover yourself with the blanket. Okay?"

Evelyn nodded frantically. "Yes, I-"

Her voice was muffled from the multiple sounds off..

"Gunshots." Gia gasped.
