Chapter 758: Some Business

Before long, several small mountains of sinister items piled up in front of Darian. All the cultivators fixed their gaze on him, wanting to feel his purification technique.

He moved calmly and used a large amount of white power, mixing it with Yang all at once. In just a few minutes, everything was completely purified.

He turned to the people and waved his hand toward the piles.

"Go ahead, see and feel them with your own hands. Tell me if there’s anything contaminated left in these things."

Hearing that, the cultivators actually stepped forward and carefully examined everything. Of course, there had been many spatial rings filled with evil techniques and other things before. Those were all destroyed immediately.

The only things left were Indigo Jades, equipment, and some types of artifacts... things that were terrifyingly rare and expensive throughout the universe.

After a while, Nyndra spoke calmly. "Everything is perfect. Lord Darian, we insist that you keep everything. As for that matter from before..."

"Don’t worry. The Sect Leader will make sure nothing that happened here spreads, right, Master?" Darian turned to Gildor.

He immediately nodded. "Yes. All the Palace Masters are honorable people and understand the consequences of their words. I guarantee nothing will leak."

Nyndra and the others nodded. They would certainly spread the "rumor" that they had discovered some inconsistencies within the Healers of Heaven Sect, so they joined forces to deal with it.

Without delay, Gildor and the others stored everything. Then everyone left that small world.

Outside, Nyndra snorted and attacked once.

A brilliant spatial slash surged forward with boundless force and struck the entrance. Inside, space began collapsing and exploding, making everything disappear forever.

The entire planet they were on was still surrounded by the original inscription. No one could leave or enter without Gildor’s consent. There were still people scattered around the planet, including some disciples of that sect.

Without hesitation, Nyndra gave the order, and all the others spread out, hunting those survivors.

Meanwhile, Darian, Gildor, and Nyndra moved toward a secret place far away from where the center of that sect had been.

Darian knew exactly where it was. Hidden underground was a secret hall protected by a powerful inscription. Fortunately, that inscription had endured the earthquakes and impacts because it was so far away.

Nyndra attacked again, gracefully cutting through space toward the door.

Everything shattered open easily, and they all entered.

It was a small hall with only a few jade slips. The supreme Healing Technique of that sect was certainly hidden there, along with a few other secret things.

As she examined the jade slips, Nyndra’s expression turned dark. Darian noticed this and snorted.

Many sects had risen and disappeared throughout the history of this universe. Many of them vanished without anyone ever knowing how or why. In other cases, people were sure it had something to do with Evil Path cultivators.

Only the names of their inheritances and sects remained in records. Everything else about them had never been found anywhere. Many incredible things had simply vanished suddenly.

Now, dozens of those inheritances were there, all perfectly preserved.

"If you want, you can select a few of these things and take them to your sect. I don’t mind," Darian said lightly to that Fey.

She turned to him and gave a faint smile. "Thank you, but my sect does not lack techniques. We’ll be happy if you take everything. That way, the universe will be able to use them again."

Darian nodded. "Great. I’ll make good use of these things."

The only sound in that place was Gildor’s heart beating wildly. Darian didn’t bother saying anything else and moved forward, collecting all the jade slips.

---

Hours later, everything was finished. Darian said goodbye to Nyndra in a friendly way.

"Sir, come visit my sect in the future. You’ll always be welcome," she said with a small smile, then turned and left.

As for Gildor and the people from his sect, they hurried away quickly, afraid that the other cultivators might attack them.

Before long, Darian was back at the Golden Crow Sect.

Right at the entrance, Emina was waiting for him with shining eyes. Darian quickly handed her dozens of spatial rings, all filled with the purified equipment.

"Find good blacksmiths. These weapons used to be top-tier. If they’re reforged properly, I believe half of them can return to the top. But even if only a third of them are truly restored, the profits will already be astronomical."

Darian said this, and Emina’s hands trembled as she held those rings.

Gildor was stunned when he saw Darian hand all that to a mere young woman. He almost said something, but Darian looked straight at him.

"She’s my merchant, and I trust her completely. Changing the subject, I promised you one third of everything, but I won’t count the inheritances."

Gildor was shocked. He couldn’t afford to lose those things, and he was ready to give up everything just to get a share of those inheritances.

"W-wait—"

Darian cut him off. "I’m not finished. I don’t need those things, so they’ll all stay in the sect. There are exactly 33 different inheritances. Many of them aren’t compatible with the average cultivators of this sect. So start working and evaluate them one by one, running lots of tests. You’re the sect leader, so you decide how to incorporate them—but I suggest creating new Palaces, each specialized in one of those inheritances. New disciples who are only compatible with those should be recruited. Our sect can’t depend only on the Golden Crow bloodline and techniques. If everything is done properly, in just a few generations the sect will have countless specialties and will rise through the universe very quickly."

Gildor listened without reacting.

Darian continued, "As for that Healing Technique, it’s probably the only inheritance the current cultivators of the sect can immediately benefit from. It uses pure Yang, so there should be many who’ll be able to use it soon. That way, the sect can spread the news across the universe and start receiving people to be healed."

Gildor snapped out of his stupor and clenched his fists, filled with excitement. If many people could actually use that, the sect’s rise would begin immediately.

"Oh, right, as I said, I won’t charge that one-third for the inheritances. Emina, one third of everything you recover—don’t sell it. Give it to the sect leader. The rest you can sell and we’ll split the profits." Darian said, turning to her.

"Yes!"

She practically roared and, without even glancing at Gildor, rushed off full of energy. She was going to start immediately, finding blacksmiths and getting to work.

***

A month passed slowly. During that time, Darian stayed inside the Golden Celestial Lake cultivating day and night.

Using the pills he kept receiving, he reached the second level of the Celestial King Realm.

Another two months passed even faster. That day, Darian opened his eyes and sighed.

"Fourth level of the Celestial King Realm... the pills aren’t working as well anymore, and the next level costs twenty times more than the previous one. At this pace... it’ll take me several years to reach the Celestial Sovereign Realm."

At that moment, Darian received a message from Gildor.

"Darian, the Bakunawa Abyssal Triarchy sent a message saying the opportunity to hunt the Demonic Sea Orc is very close."

Darian’s eyes lit up.

If that enemy was killed, the Abyss Lake inside the Bakunawa Abyssal Triarchy would become available. That lake was just as good as the Golden Celestial Lake, but it was aligned with the water element.

There, Darian could do the same thing and create the third level of the Heavenly Elemental Body. Once that level was formed, he could definitely rise several cultivation levels very quickly inside that place, just like before.

That was because his body would become more adaptable to the element, allowing him to absorb it along with Celestial power and raise his cultivation rapidly. Of course, that only worked at the beginning; eventually, he would hit a limit where the body could no longer absorb the element.

It was like taking pills: the first had a huge effect, then the benefits gradually weakened.

"This should help for now. But..." he murmured.

Then he took another communication crystal and sent a message.

He waited for a moment. Three minutes later, a reply came.

"Master, yes, I managed to get the recipe for the *Yin Sacred Dew Pill*." Limdiss’s voice echoed, full of pride.

She had been fully dedicating herself to pill crafting inside the Hellfire Pill Sect as Darian’s disciple. That place contained every kind of pill imaginable, but for some of them, someone of her status had to pass tests to obtain the formulas.

Darian replied, "I’ll get the Sacred Life Crystals. Focus on studying the refining method; I’ll call you soon."

The Yin Sacred Dew Pill was one of the most difficult high-level pills known. Its effect was to help cultivators specialized in the Yin element improve their affinity. And if the cultivator had access to a place with a large concentration of Yin and Celestial power, it would greatly increase their cultivation speed.

Unfortunately, more than a thousand years ago, this type of pill had completely disappeared from the market. Even the people in the Hellfire Pill Sect couldn’t make it, because the main ingredient: *Sacred Life Crystals*, could no longer be found for purchase.

The reason was simple: those crystals only formed in a single place in the entire universe.

Precisely inside the territories of the Bakunawa Abyssal Triarchy.

Besides being used in the pill, those crystals could also restore a person’s life energy. So it didn’t take a genius to understand what had happened.

Veyra had completely banned the sale of those crystals so she could use everything found in those territories, extending the lifespan of her granddaughter.

After sending the message to Limdiss, Darian responded to Gildor.

"I’ll go with you to the Bakunawa Abyssal Triarchy. I have some business to do with those Queens."
