Destroying My Own World-Chapter 280 EnigmatiChapter
"How far have you found out about Mykel's power?" Elena asked as she looked at Amaryllis and the others.
Everyone looked at each other and they were all confused because their brains couldn't comprehend the fundamentals of Mykel's power. Even though they had been discussing it, they were all troubled to digest the flood of information that Amaryllis, The Lord, and Nal's explanation.
"Do you know what a singularity means?" Nal looked at Elena with her eyebrows raised and arms crossed.
"No, I don't," Elena shook her head.
"Well, if that's the case. Can you bring that thing here again, Shelly? I'll explain it to you guys once more so you can grasp what we are dealing with," Nal requested as she walked to the middle while everyone decided to move to the sides, surrounding her.
Shelly created a small black hole, as small as a basketball, but the sucking ability was enough to devour Earth in an instant. Nal who stood right next to it was fine, and she could handle such sucking force.
"You know what this thing is right? This is a black hole. But, do you know how a black hole works?" Nal asked as she pointed at the black hole with her thumb. "This thing defies dimensions and you can't tell which is the front, the top, the bottom, or the back even though its shape isn't like a ball," she continued.
"Now. The reason why this thing has such a powerful force to devour everything is because of its density," Nal pointed out and looked at the black hole. "It's the same reason why Earth is rotating the sun, but this thing has an almost infinite amount of density which creates such powerful force to suck everything in. Not only that, it can stretch everything infinitely until they're close to nonexistent because of its density," she explained.
Elena hummed and grasped the explanation since she had experienced it firsthand when she fought Mykel. She repeated what she heard to Nal to make sure she was on the right track.
"That's correct, and this density with its infinite power where everything bent to its will inside the black hole, that's the singularity. The core of the black hole itself," Nal explained. "But remember, this is just an example. Now that you know the basics, imagine what kind of power Mykel possesses," she looked at Elena.
"He's the center of all creations. Unaffected by anything and live independently. Even so, his ability to devour everything isn't infinite," Nal added. "The method we are using right now is right, but the problem is that it might take forever," she continued.
Elena turned around and looked at the cube and the life energy that bathed Mykel. She knew and everyone else knew that the method they were using wasn't the most efficient way.
"What options do we have?" Elena asked and kept staring at the cube.
"Rather than satiate Mykel's hunger, we remove his stomach or at least make his stomach shrink until he can't feel hungry anymore, which means we have to get rid of the source of his power," Amaryllis answered as she looked at Elena.
"How are we going to do that?" Elena turned around to look at Amaryllis.
Amaryllis walked toward the black hole and then she put her left arm inside. Everyone could see her arm stretch until it became so thin that their eyes couldn't see it anymore.
"We have to get in there, find the singularity, the density of the black hole. Once we reached its core, we blow it up, create an energy that's powerful enough to weaken the density," Amaryllis explained as she pulled her arm from the black hole and it was almost invisible because of how thin it had become.
"So you're saying it's possible to bring Mykel back if we do that?" Elena asked.
"Yes, but it's impossible to do because we actually have no idea how strong his power is. We also have to get inside his body through the abyss that could take forever as well to reach the core," Odin answered and nodded his head in agreement. "Also, I don't think nobody can do it and even if they can, they will die once they did their job," he pointed out.
Elena was considering using that method and believed she could handle it. When she was about to tell them that she would try it, Amaryllis shook her head.
"If you die, we can't bring you back to life. You're more unique than any of us. You're just like Mykel so we don't want to sacrifice you to bring him back," Amaryllis said with a serious expression.
Everyone nodded their heads in agreement and it would be pointless if they used that method.
"Then what other method that you have?" Elena asked.
"The string theory," Amaryllis answered.
"What's that?" Elena asked with her eyebrows furrowed.
"A theory where the string is the fundamental of nature and force itself. Whenever it creates vibration and creates various frequencies, that's how the universe works. The vibration is basically the will, and the string is the body which is basically the universe itself," Amaryllis explained. "Based on what Mykel said about him as the center of everything, an independent entity that makes all things move around him, we believe this might be the case," she added.
"So Mykel is a string?" Elena raised her eyebrows with a confused look on her face.
"No, he's a Singularity, and the string theory is basically one the causes of a Singularity. He's above the string, something more powerful than the string itself," Amaryllis shook her head. "With that being said, we can use that string theory and learn how it works. Once we know how it actually works, we can solve the Singularity problem. But it won't end there because as I said earlier the string theory is one of the causes of a Singularity," she explained. Read latest stories on novelbuddy

Elena couldn't get a grasp on the overflowing information that she had just heard. She looked at the others and realized why they were so confused back there when she asked about progress. She didn't blame them since none of them had that much of a brain compared to Amaryllis, Nal, Odin, and The Lord himself since they had been living for billions of years.
"What about you? You're supposed to know about the universe. So you should know about this kind of theory," Elena looked at The Lord who had been silently observing.
"Mykel isn't a black hole, his existence is beyond that. His existence is more mysterious than my own, so if you think I know everything, then I'm not. I barely scrape the surface just like Amaryllis. To find the truth, it would be close to impossible because Mykel is the most enigmatic being," The Lord explained. "Everything that you just heard, it was nothing but speculation. We don't know if that's really the case since a Singularity can be whatever it wants," he continued.
"So you don't agree with all the solutions that Amy presented?" Elena asked and she was thinking the same thing as him.
"I'm not saying I disagree, in fact, there's one theory that I believe is the best way to find out about what Mykel really is," The Lord answered. "The second method, I believe it's the best one to solve the problem. The method where we have to embrace Mykel's abyss and find the truth from inside," he continued.
Everyone started to understand why The Lord said that, and they found his reasons made sense.
"I agree," Elena nodded her head as she looked at Amaryllis.
"Wait a minute. You know what would happen if we go in there and nobody can survive his ominous power. Even if our body can somehow withstand the density of Mykel's power, we will be corrupted by his power as well. It's a suicide," Amaryllis stopped those two. "It will take forever, and this is close to impossible," she added.
"No, it's not going to take forever," Elena answered as she looked at the life energy that bathed Mykel's body. "A small part of my life is inside his body right now, and not only does my life energy survive, but it also weakens him. So if I go inside his body, I will be fine," she pointed out.
"It's not that simple. You shouldn't underestimate his power," The Lord said. "You're one of the keys that can stop Mykel. You shouldn't be the one who goes in there," he continued.
"Nobody else can survive in there," Elena responded.
"I can, as long as your life energy can protect me," The Lord said. "I will know what to do when I see it since I can understand the universe more than anyone here. I can be more useful and even if I die, it won't be a problem," he continued.
Elena looked at Amaryllis, Jeanne, and Aurea, and then they all raised their eyebrows as they nodded their heads slightly.
"Okay, we will protect you," Elena responded.
