Don't Fall For Me, CEO-Chapter 1113: Fleeing with Their Tails Between Their Legs
Although the tea had been steeping for a while, it was still very hot, and Anna felt her whole face burning.
The crucial part was that the tea had tea leaves in it, which stuck to her hair, making her look incredibly disheveled.
Even though her attendants hurriedly helped her clean up, it was to no avail.
Meanwhile, Laura Quinn, the initiator, handed the empty teacup to a servant, and while enjoying Anna’s predicament, she said nonchalantly, "Wake up! We don’t accept apologies; that’s the answer!"
"You crazy woman, how dare you treat me like this!"
The humiliation made Anna completely lose control, swearing involuntarily.
"You’re done for! I will make sure my father spares no effort in targeting your Quinn Family, and make sure you go bankrupt."
But the more she cursed, the more relentless Laura Quinn became in targeting her.
At this point, Laura Quinn simply picked up the fruit basket from the table and started throwing apples and oranges at Anna.
"Fine! Bring it on, I’d like to see how you worms continue to be arrogant."
Despite the servants trying their best to protect her, Anna still got hit several times with fruit.
Needless to say, the servants.
"Get out!" Laura Quinn also signaled to a servant sweeping leaves in the courtyard to give her the broom.
Taking the broom, she started swinging it wildly at Anna and her servants.
"Get out of here! Take your mess with you, our Quinn family is not a junkyard."
Anna was hit several times by Laura’s broom, and her once neatly done hair turned into a bird’s nest.
"Crazy woman!"
Anna was unwilling to just be driven out like that, determined to fight Laura Quinn to the death.
But seeing Laura Quinn swinging the broom, and her servants scurrying around yelping, with her going all out for her daughter, Anna backed down.
However, before leaving, she still couldn’t resist gritting her teeth and issuing a threat:
"Fine! Remember this, I will make you pay for your reckless behavior today."
The threat didn’t scare Laura Quinn into a panic, showing the embarrassed demeanor Anna most wanted to see. Instead, it provoked Laura to throw the broom at her harshly.
Seeing the broom coming, Anna was so frightened that she couldn’t move.
Thankfully, a servant pulled her, saving her from getting hit.
But she still ended up awkwardly lying on the ground.
With the outcome decided, Anna had no face to stay any longer and had to leave with her servants, no longer high and mighty, but scurrying away with their tails between their legs.
Once they left, the servants hurried to clean up the tea and fruit scattered everywhere.
And Laura Quinn, as if she had spent all her energy, suddenly slumped to the ground.
This startled July Quinn.
"Mom, are you okay? Did you get hurt anywhere?"
July Quinn quickly helped her up, not caring about crying in gratitude.
"I’m fine, honey. Mom just hasn’t exerted herself like this in a long time and feels a bit dizzy."
Compared to July, Laura Quinn was more fragile.
Moreover, she usually relied on strategy rather than physical intimidation.
Today, seeing her daughter cry was what made her lose control.
After comforting July Quinn, she then tightly embraced her.
"Honey, it’s okay. As long as you’re with mom, no one can bully you. Don’t keep any grievances to yourself, you can tell mom anything, and I will do everything I can to right the wrongs for you."
Hearing her mother’s caring words, July Quinn felt her heart filled with something overwhelming.
It was a feeling she had never experienced before, quite novel indeed.
She snuggled obediently beside Laura Quinn until a servant hurriedly came to report: "Miss, Miss July, His Excellency Kidd is here to visit."
