CHAPTER 306

Eu-Meh was one daring soul and Rong Bolin already knew where this was going to end.

Not that he minded one bit. In fact, he was happy to get relief from the work he had buried his head in the entire day.

Still, they were cooking and the smell he got from the pot boiling away was enough to make his stomach grumble in protest.

Regardless it was difficult for him to make a decision. He was torn between a rock and a hard place.

Choose one to quench the desires of his heart and loins or choose the other and pick the other to quench the desires of his stomach.

Even though filling his stomach seemed good for his health, it was not the first time he was without food.

Besides, the dish standing close to him and sexily hooked her feet around his leg was more tasty and pleasant in his eyes.

"What are you waiting for cowboy?" Eu-Meh dared.

"Weighing my options properly."

"And?" her voice trailed off as did her finger which danced away on his shoulder. "Which is more favourable?"

"I do not know. Both seem satisfying enough if you ask me."

"Nah. I cannot believe I am matched equally with a meal," she guessed spot on.

"Haha haha, then do not think baby. Of course, you should know which is more satisfying."

"Are you sure?"

"Very."

He let go of the knife he had been holding on to and pulled her body closer to his while his hands rubbed her back.

"I pick you."

Without further ado, he leaned in and pressed his lips on hers, silencing her properly while he poured his heart for her into the kiss.

Eu-Meh did not fight back nor did she resist him. Relatively, she pushed her head forward, meeting his kiss with hers eagerly.

Seconds passed and they finally broke off the kiss and smiled at each other. His eyes searched hers, loving everything he saw there.

He could see her needs and wants.

All of her hidden and dark desires were carefully tucked at the back of her mind while she acted cutely before him.

She was just as guilty as he was.

Her breathing raged, her eyes fluttering ever so slowly as her gaze dropped to his lips once more, imagining how they once felt on her skin.

She lifted her eyes again and this time he saw her restraints break free. All her pleasures arose as her arousal assaulted his nostrils.

His nose flared; his breathing hitched. He was reacting to her need.

He wasted not another second and captured her lips again as he stood up slowly. Without fixing things, he made his decision with precision and was ready for whatever it brought.

She did as well. Loving the way his tongue flickered over hers as his hands ravished her body.

Just as they began getting deep into the rhythm, the sound of the bell going off resonated in the entire house, breaking their concentration on the task at hand.

Their eyes opened as they tried to catch their breath, swallowing hard.

"You expecting anyone?" Eu-Meh asked, breaking the silence.

"No."

"Then who could it be?"

"I do not know nor do I care. They can get out."

Saying that he leaned in again, ready to take her lips and continue from where they had stopped.

Sadly, though he wanted this, Eu-Meh was not on the same page as him.

She placed her middle finger in front of his lips and tilted her head back, away from his reach.

"Baby."

"No. go and see who is at the door. Who knows it may be important," she advised.

"But…"

"No buts."

"They could have called my line if it was so important."

"And says who they didn't? Or do you have your phone with you?"

He opened his mouth to counter her words when realization dawned on him. He had not taken his phone with him when he left his room.

He let out a sigh in defeat before nodding his head. "I understand you."

"Thanks. While you do that, I can get back to cooking. My chicken would be overly cooked now, thanks to a certain someone."

"No. Hell no. You are not cooking."

"But you said if I told you, you would let me."

"I never gave an answer. I only said hmm."

Her lips and eyes opened at his logic. As much as she wished to complain, she couldn't.

She was the one who assumed. She let her emotions cloud her reasoning and he won.

Shaking her head at her defeat, Eu-Meh stepped away from him and straightened her clothes.

"Then," she cleared her throat. "I better get going."

Taking a turn, she walked briskly out of the kitchen. During the time they spent talking, the bell rang out twice more.

She was sure whoever it was that was at the door, had grown impatient and would probably be leaving.

Hastening things up would prove to be in her very best interest.

In no time she arrived at the door and unlocked it. She pulled the hair net from her head, letting her ponytail fall behind her.

"Hmm, this should do it," she muttered encouragingly before opening the door.

The very second she did, her eyes landed on three different people. The same ones she would never believe she would be seeing so soon.

Standing in front of her were Rong Bolin's friends. Oftentimes, he told her during their next gathering he was going to take her along with him to introduce her to his friends.

Sadly, that gathering did not come as Liu Xueyi had avoided it for some time.

And deep down, Rong Bolin knew the reason why. First, he was busy with work as a CEO and as an actor.

Secondly, he had his girlfriend to eat up whatever time he could muster up.

Third, was the one unspoken event that they knew all too well — the night of the encounter.

"Hello, good afternoon."

She blinked severally when the deep baritone voice of the one and only CEO of the Liu Corporation spoke to her.

It was no news the kind of pull he had in the business industry and furthermore, when it came to the fashion world, he was on a whole new level.

Even the once-trending top fashion house's CEO did not hold a candle to his handsomeness.

At his side was his vice, Xu Fang, another one of Rong Bolin's friends.

Finally, her ardent gaze came to rest on the last visitor. The only lady present with these two handsome men.

If not for the fact that she knew a thing or two about Liu Xueyi, she would not have been able to place Andromeda.

However, she was sure she had seen this same face recently.

"Hello?" Xu Fang chipped in with a snap of his finger, seeing how lost she was in thought.

"Oh, yes. Sorry," Eu-Meh shook her head and apologized.

"It is okay," Liu Xueyi smiled. "Yes, is Bolin in, please?"

"Yes. Sure. Please, come in."

She took a step to the side, opening the door wider for them to pass through. Once everyone was in, she shut the door and locked it before moving in front of them.

"Have your seats, please. I would call him."

No sooner had she given her directive than they all heard his voice call out from inside the house.

"Babe, who is at the door?"

Her cheeks puffed off, smiling at his loud voice. "You'd never believe it," she yelled back, keeping her smile on her face.

Without further ado, she clasped both hands in front of her and winked at them.

"Where is he?" Xu Fang inquired.

He took a sharp sniff of the air as his eyes widened in realization. He did not utter any words to her and instead glanced at Liu Xueyi.

Both of them returned each other's stare as a knowing smile formed on their face.

"He is in the kitchen," Eu-Meh revealed, biting on her lower lip.

She could not tell what was going through their minds at that point. All she could say was that they were communicating in code.

Wanting to know if she was the only one lost, she averted her gaze to Andromeda.

To her surprise, Andromeda like them seemed to understand the silent communication they were having.

She lifted a brow at her and was about to question her when Rong Bolin's voice rang out again.

"Babe, I don't do guesses. Tell me already." 𝘧r𝘦𝗲w𝘦𝚋𝐧o𝘷𝘦𝙡.co𝑚

From the loudness in his voice, everyone could tell he was coming out already.

Both men straightened and Liu Xueyi went ahead to place a hand on the small of Andromeda's back.

"Well, I guess this should be fun," Eu-Meh announced in a low tone.

"Babe, you said…" His words were immediately cut off as soon as he stepped foot into the living room and his eyes landed on his guests.

"You have got to be kidding me."
