Chapter 1633: Chapter 1194: Pseudo-Star God’s Body
Inside the Boundary Migration Airship, Negris’s consciousness returned to his body. Impatiently, he asked, "How do we get them out? Summon Lightning, let it go insult someone."
Everything was occurring within the Consciousness Space. Whether it was shearing the God Star’s wool, or Ange’s battle with the Origin Divine Light—all of it happened in the God Star’s Consciousness Space, entirely on the consciousness level.
Although many companions had been summoned, none of them had physical forms; they were all projected here via the consciousness link between Ange and his original body, just like Ange himself had been projected earlier.
Only consciousness could be sent, and to leave the Consciousness Space, they’d need a vessel to carry them, just like the planted construct Ange had initially possessed.
But now the planted construct was meaningless to them. Giving them low-grade vessels would hinder their capabilities—it would be better to remain in the Consciousness Space or return to their original Dimensional World.
As for the others, it was fine, but Lightning absolutely needed to be summoned. Even if all it had left was just a mouth, it could still unleash its full power.
Ange raised his hand, and a cluster of Chaos Mist rapidly condensed into a White Crystal in his palm.
"You... You can create members of the Celestial Descendant Clan now?" Negris asked in shock.
Ange shook his head and continued to infuse Chaos Mist into the White Crystal. After a moment, the White Crystal unexpectedly ’melted,’ manifesting a horse face with a single horn on its forehead.
"This isn’t a Celestial Descendant Clan? Where’s the body? You didn’t just give it a mouth, right?" Negris examined it closely and couldn’t see how it differed from members of the Celestial Descendant Clan.
Ange flicked the horn and said with frustration, "Not Descendant Clan, Star God’s Body, can’t Star Shift, can bear consciousness, tough."
"Oh, it’s not a Descendant Clan. It’s just a pseudo-Star God’s Body. It can’t transfer like a true-Star God’s Body... Is it called Star Shift? That name’s pretty good. Rare for you to come up with something decent. So it can’t Star Shift, but it can bear consciousness, and it’s as tough as a true-Star God’s Body?" Negris interpreted.
Ange nodded. Members like the Star Progeny Master, South Crown, and North Corona of the Descendant Clan were offspring of the God Star—beings created by the God Star, akin to how the Dragon God created the Giant Dragon Clan.
But the Star God’s Body was merely an empty shell. The version Ange created was the primitive version, without the capability to transfer between White Crystal and body.
But did that even matter? As long as it was tough, that was enough. The strength of the Star God’s Body was at the level of Subordinate Origin. If Lightning had the strength of the Star God’s Body, no matter how foul its tongue got, no one could touch it.
My goodness, just imagining it standing there, spewing insults while others couldn’t hurt it—the scene was utterly terrifying.
"Besides, even if it can’t Star Shift, its consciousness is linked to your Consciousness World. You could just retract it back, and wouldn’t that mean it still has some transfer capability?" Negris asked.
Ange nodded.
"It’s tough and can escape—so it’s already not much different from a true-Star God’s Body. How did you suddenly learn how to condense a Star God’s Body?" Negris asked curiously.
Ange replied, "With White Crystal, I can. Now, enough Soul Strength."
Star God’s Bodies were merely derivatives of White Crystal, and Ange had mastered them long ago. It was just that his Soul Strength had previously been insufficient. Now that he had sheared off a third of the God Star’s Consciousness Energy, Ange finally had the power to condense new White Crystals.
The function of White Crystal was akin to Soul Fire. With White Crystal, consciousness could be borne, and it could serve as the core to condense a vessel.
"Alright then, why does it still only have a head? Condense its body too; otherwise, just a floating head looks kind of weird," Negris said.
Ange shook his head. "It, manifests on its own." freēwēbηovel.c૦m
"It has to manifest itself? Lightning, Lightning, how do you feel? Can you manifest it? Imagine your feet, belly, butt, neck, hooves—imagine what they used to look like. Don’t get them wrong and go crooked; otherwise, manifesting yourself with four butts would be a hassle." Negris quickly directed.
Lightning kept its eyes closed, but upon hearing that, it cursed without even opening them, "Shut up! Don’t interrupt me, or I’ll manifest as a Little Yellow Dragon and lick everyone, humiliating you."
Negris immediately shut his mouth tight. That was too vicious—it wouldn’t be able to show its face anymore. Worse, Lightning was just the type to carry out such threats.
Seeing Lightning settle back into focus, its head began to extend into a neck, Negris finally sighed in relief and whispered to Ange, "What about the others? Since you can create Star God’s Bodies now, why not get the others out too?"
Ange shook his head. "No Chaos Mist."
"You still need Chaos Mist? What a bother. I was hoping to bring out Luther. Bringing Lock Feiti wouldn’t mean much—Star God’s Bodies probably can’t utilize their skills—but Luther is weak anyway. A Star God’s Body could amplify his strength many times over; he’d probably be thrilled." Negris lamented.
Chaos Mist was a precious resource. Whether for the Primordial Body, Death Scythe, or various seeds, now even condensing Star God’s Bodies required it.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the Chaos Plane, where Chaos Mist was plentiful—the residue left behind when the original Ancient Godlight exploded. Without a God Star explosion here, there simply wasn’t enough Chaos Mist available.
"Why don’t we go to that God Star in the Dimensional Space and blow it up? It’s already harvested all the life in its space, so leaving it around serves no purpose." Negris suggested.
What a daring thought—they’d already sheared off a third of its Consciousness Energy and now wanted to blow up its ’body’ too.
Ange nodded and pulled out a White Crystal.
"What? Where did you get another White Crystal? Didn’t you say there wasn’t enough Chaos Mist to condense anything?" Negris asked in surprise.
"South Crown." Ange replied while pointing at the White Crystal, erasing the old Imprint with a surge of red light, then engraving a new one upon it.
From within the White Crystal emerged a figure, transforming into a tall, thin form of the Celestial Descendant Clan. It glanced around hesitantly and called out, "Lord? Lord Nage? Lord Anthony?"
"It’s us. Sigh, such a waste of the White Crystal—it’s a true-star White Crystal that can Star Shift." Negris lamented.
"White Crystal? What White Crystal? Lord Nage, why do I look like this? So ugly. What’s happened?" Luther asked while carefully inspecting his body.
"It is ugly, but it’s valuable. Only one is left now—if you don’t like it, I’ll swap it with something else," Negris offered.
"I want it, I want it! Don’t swap, don’t swap!" Luther exclaimed. He knew Negris’s temperament well—if he willingly offered something, it had to be valuable.
Just then, the steadily cruising airship suddenly braked sharply and gradually came to a halt.
"We’re here." Ange stated.
Negris looked out through the porthole, but it was pitch black outside, with nothing visible. As he hesitated about whether to share Ange’s vision, the airship suddenly accelerated. The helm in Ange’s hand lit up, the ship trembled violently, and it felt as though some force had launched it forward.
This was no time to hesitate. Negris immediately shared Ange’s vision, seeing a recessed area in the distance. Beside it, a middle-aged man was slicing open a Space Rift and stepping inside.
The airship fired some sort of attack, causing the entire Dimensional Wall to tremble. A ripple shot out in the direction of the middle-aged man.
Sensing the disturbance, the man looked over in shock, his face filled with disbelief, before he was struck by the ripple and sent flying back out of the Space Rift he had entered.
