Game Invasion Era: Rise from Binding the Goblin King!-Chapter 126: Hidden Realm, Obsidian Wraith
Ares stepped forward, his tone not friendly. "This is my Human Federation guy. Don’t even think about touching him."
"Ha ha, do I look like that kind of guy?" Orion smiled. He already knew George was an SS-tier Frost Mage. His class rank wasn’t as high, but he still looked down on him.
"Hmph." Ares let out a cold snort. He clearly didn’t like the guy. "I can’t stay long. Are you ready?"
"Ready long ago. Let’s go. It’s just outside the city." Orion didn’t care. He led the two of them out of the city.
As soon as they left, George felt a slight heat on his forehead. The demon mark had activated. Someone had definitely spotted him.
Roar!
A series of loud roars echoed from the forest. A group of monsters emerged from the hills. They were small, with dark green skin, sharp teeth, and ugly faces.
Mudling?
George recognized the monster’s stats. Their level wasn’t high - just over 30.
Mudlings were a unique monster in this area. He had never seen them before.
"Huh, why are these guys going wild?" Orion was confused. Normally, these weak monsters wouldn’t dare to bother a War God.
"Quick and clean." Ares knew exactly what was going on. He immediately summoned his flying sword. The blade was cold and sharp, and it flew straight toward the attacking Mudlings.
Orion wasn’t backing down either. He called out his weapon - two War Hammers. There was lightning crackling around them. He moved in an instant, smashing into the crowd of Mudlings.
Boom!
A loud explosion followed, and lightning rained down from the sky. The ground was blasted into a deep pit. Lightning flashed, and many Mudlings were killed or injured.
Powerful!
George was shocked. Orion’s strength was just as strong as Ares.
With two strong warriors protecting him, no monster could get close. George had no chance to fight at all.
The three of them moved quickly through the forest. Ares and Orion were quietly competing, leaving destruction in their wake. Many Mudlings were killed.
"Strangely, is there a beast swarm here?" Orion looked at the new waves of Mudlings coming, their fearless charge confusing him.
It looked just like a beast swarm.
Ares was worried. These monsters were clearly drawn to George’s demon mark.
But what kind of monsters were in that hidden realm? Could George handle them?
"Stop thinking about it. Don’t worry, you can send people to clear them out later. Just get to that hidden realm first," Ares reminded, increasing his killing speed. The Mudlings kept falling in large numbers.
"Okay," Orion nodded and sped up as well.
The three of them ran through the mountain forest. George frowned slightly. His forehead mark was hurting again. That meant a demon race powerhouse was coming.
But the pain quickly went away. It seemed the demon had realized Ares and Orion were strong and left.
"Huh, is there really a beast swarm? I just felt the aura of a demon boss," Orion said, looking into the deep forest, frowning.
But he didn’t dwell on it. Soon, they stopped at a hill. There were four young men there - three boys and a girl.
"Orion, sir," the four said quickly, bowing.
Orion gave a small nod. He looked at the girl with red wavy hair and said, "Mira, you’re leading this time. Don’t get too ahead. If there’s danger, get out immediately."
"Yes," the girl named Mira said respectfully.
George now knew that these four were also entering the hidden realm with him.
It seemed the distribution wasn’t bad. He had a 50% chance to get the Crafted Relic, so he was actually winning.
"Kid," a smug young man looked at him and said, "you know how the loot works, right? We each keep our own loot, but whatever you get, you have to give us half."
"Uh?" George frowned. His good mood just disappeared.
"We have no problem with that," Ares said calmly. He wasn’t happy, but it was already agreed before.
"Wait a second. I have something to tell you," he pulled George aside and whispered, "Kid, do you know what to do once you go in?"
"Raid and kill?" George asked in a low voice.
"Damn, you’re really cold-blooded," Ares was a bit shocked, but he didn’t scold him. He looked at the others and said in a low voice, "First, make sure you’re safe. Don’t show off your power too early. Try not to go too far."
His words were basically a sign of approval.
George nodded. He also knew this was Frost Alliance’s territory. If he acted, he couldn’t leave any clues.
"I have two more things for you," Ares pulled out a jade token and a scroll and gave them to George. He said, "This is a life-saving jade token. It can block one killing attack. And this is a random teleport scroll. It will send you away when used, but it’s not safe. Only use it when you have no choice."
George took them, feeling grateful. Both items were very valuable.
"Don’t worry, sir. I’ll be fine," he said. He had some ways to save himself.
As long as no monster over level 60 or a stage SS-tier boss showed up in this realm, he could easily protect himself.
Roar!
At this moment, more roars came from the surrounding forest. A bunch of monsters appeared. All of them were drawn by George’s demon mark.
Ares didn’t care. He said, "Go in. I’ll wait here for you."
George nodded and accepted Mira’s party invitation.
He also saw the four people’s info.
Mira, SSR-tier Infernal Lord mage, level 50.
Raiden, SSR-tier Crazy Warrior, level 50.
Finn, SSR-tier Arcane Archer, level 50.
Lionel, SSR-tier Dragonlord, level 50.
All four were strong SSR-tier warriors, and all at level 50.
George, an SS-tier Frost Mage, was actually the weakest.
What surprised him the most was that the arrogant guy was a Dragonlord.
Dragonlords were mysterious and powerful. They could control dragons, even stronger than the Blazing Angel, a class that was favored by gods.
But he didn’t see the dragon. It was probably a pet that could be summoned.
"Everyone ready? Let’s go," Mira said, pulled out the hidden realm pass and activated it.
Space strength fluctuated. The scene changed quickly. The next moment, George appeared in a long, dark tunnel.
[You entered the Blackstone Realm]
A message flashed. George stayed alert, looking around. This place looked like an ancient building. Not like the Underworld. It might be a maze.
Good thing, his demon mark didn’t react. That meant no monsters were around.
"Come this way," Mira checked the direction and walked toward the other end of the tunnel.
She seemed very familiar with this place.
"Kid, don’t say I didn’t warn you. If you get in trouble, we won’t save you," said Lionel, the Dragonlord, looking at George with disdain.
"Take care of yourself," George didn’t even bother to respond. He followed Mira into the tunnel.
"Hmph. You’ll regret this," Lionel bit his lip and followed them.
Soon, the group passed through the long tunnel. The view opened up, revealing a wide open field. Several huge black Stone Giants roamed around.
Not demons.
George’s demon mark didn’t react at all. These monsters weren’t from the demon race.
He checked their stats.
[Obsidian Wraith, Level 45, HP 50,000]
Just regular 45-level monsters. They could handle them easily.
Roar!
A loud cry echoed. The Obsidian Wraiths nearby noticed the group and roared, charging forward.
"Quick and clean," Mira said, raising her staff. A fire snake shot out with a hiss.
Boom!
The fire snake hit the Obsidian Wraith and exploded, pushing the giant back.
This attack made the monster even angrier. It glared at them and charged forward.
"I got this!" Raiden stepped forward, his aura rising. He didn’t back down from the charging stone giant.
Pang!
His sword hit the giant’s arm. Both of them were pushed back.
At that moment, several arrows flew through the air, followed by a deep roar. A huge black dragon appeared.
It was Finn and Lionel attacking.
SS-tier black dragon.
George noticed the dragon’s stats. It wasn’t low-level, but he couldn’t see the exact level.
He wasn’t idle either. His staff appeared in hand, and a few ice spells shot out.
The ice froze the three Obsidian Wraiths that were rushing in.
"Got some skills," Finn looked at George in surprise.
They had fought the Obsidian Wraiths before. They were strong.
All of them were top-tier warriors with lots of experience. They used the freeze to launch a strong attack.
Arrows flew, spells raged, and dragon fire covered the area.
The three Obsidian Wraiths were shattered in seconds.
[Killed 45-level Obsidian Wraith, gained 900 experience points]
The message flashed. The experience was split among the five of them. It wasn’t much.
"George, can you control more?" Raiden stood at the front, seeing five more Obsidian Wraiths charging in. He looked a bit uneasy.
"Sure," George didn’t say anything else. He cast another ice spell, easily freezing the incoming Wraiths.
"Move fast. I can’t hold them long," he told them quickly. The ice was already cracking.
The others acted fast, using all kinds of strong skills.
George used the ice spell twice before killing all five Obsidian Wraiths.
Roar, roar!
The growls kept coming. More Obsidian Wraiths were attracted from the surroundings.
"Back to the tunnel. Raiden, Lionel, you two hold them. George, freeze as many as you can," Mira realized they were in big trouble if surrounded. She ordered the group to retreat toward the tunnel behind them.
The tunnel was narrow. The Obsidian Wraiths could barely pass through. Two people could easily block them.
