Game's Extra: Starting With SSS-Ranked 1000-Death Talent-Chapter 56: Attribute
’I don’t want to get slimy,’ Noa mused.
The very thought of a jizz-like liquid that could burn his skin and bones touching him made him shudder.
He wanted to avoid them at all costs.
Of course, it wasn’t like walking through the park, demanding full concentration from him.
But the more Noa ducked the shots, the less awkward his motion became.
The experiences he managed to accumulate since transmigration guided his progress and allowed him to learn the core of his abilities.
It didn’t end there.
His attribute increase aided him as well, but Noa strived for more.
He ducked the spit that the green slime shot at him—its aim greater than his would ever be.
One after another, the colorful slimes took their shot.
They didn’t allow Noa to close the gap.
Yet he didn’t give up, changing his jumping patterns to swift sidesteps so he would lose the least amount of momentum.
Slowly, he neared them.
Each step made his task harder, but Noa prevailed.
Soon, he was upon the first slime, his hands moving like a machine.
No amount of pressure from the slimes could last against his sword.
The almost dull sword still cut through the slimy texture, separating the body into two halves.

In an instant, the system rang in his head.
Without halting his movements, Noa kept going.
His momentum was unaffected, and moving between the missed acid shots, he delivered more attacks.
As he sliced soft creatures and the system’s robotic voice rang in his head, Noa felt that something was amiss.
The back of his head tickled.
A new entry showed up somewhere around him, and it was way more dangerous than the slimes.
But Noa couldn’t see it.
Only his instincts, honed by the death battles, were triggered.
Yet his senses saw nothing unusual.
He should have turned around and played his cards safely.
The uncertainty was a risk not everyone could handle.
However, the new challenge and the appearance of a new monster thrilled Noa.
At most, he would lose one or two echoes.
He was confident in handling everything and didn’t fear his life for its absolute demise.
And the triggered instinct screamed only for a bit, as if telling him to stay.
So he didn’t escape from the battle, meeting the slimes head-on.

One after another, he cut through them.
The dead slimes glowed before shrinking, only some of them leaving parts of their remains.
Controlling his greed because of the orbs, Noa finished the last slime before the second wave appeared.
"I can’t catch a break, can I?" he mused, grinning.
After that, he repeated the same tactic.
On paper, the routine should have bored him.
But every battle fed his excitement.
Especially when something would strike him at any second.
Noa didn’t have to waste too much of his time.
While he was busy disassembling the slimes, his heart was pierced from nowhere.
Noa flinched.
"What the?" he exclaimed, looking down at his chest.
It was in perfect condition, but the image still lingered in his head.
The moment of his death, the pain, and the feel of the warm blood persisted.
’Mind attack,’ Noa recognized it immediately.
But he was surprised as well. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Even though he didn’t lose his footing because of the sudden attack, the fact that his Intelligence stat wasn’t enough to nullify it confused him.
Amidst his dancing thoughts, Noa had to confront the slimes.
It wasn’t like he could just stop himself.
Suddenly, the same thing happened.
There was no indication or premonition he could depend on, as he was beheaded in his vision.
It lasted only for a moment.
But it was as real as the reality itself.
"Interesting," Noa muttered, massaging his neck.
His fighting spirit was ignited, burning with determination.
He butchered one more wave when even the bigger one showed up.
The vast garden of the castle offered him enough room to roam.
Yet the mind attacks tried to scare him with their fury of assaults.
At most, it impeded Noa’s movements.
But he always had a choice to escape.
"The death doesn’t scare me," he said, remembering the Doom God.
Nevertheless, the two sides wounded him.
The spit managed to graze his legs.
Quickly after, his fingers were charred as well.
The next one was his shoulders and his back, slowing his rampage.
Noa leveled up twice in this match, but it only helped his speed.
Soon, the final touch came when the slimes shot their acid all over his body, and the image of his broken bones flashed through his eyes.
The stinging sensation overwhelmed his being as he succumbed to the pain.
[ You died ]
It happened.
Noa lost his life just like he wanted, resetting his level.
Death was all too familiar to him.
Regardless of what awaited him beyond the white nothingness, it didn’t matter.
He took a quick but deep breath before activating the skill.
Closing his eyes, Noa embraced the new life.
[ Echo: 783/1000 ]
The pain brought back his sense of self, bringing a smile to his face.
Every revival was peaceful...
At least for a second before reality slaps him away and demands he get his shit together.
Noa swiftly took his almost molten sword.
He was created anew and shot with a freshly constructed body.
The slimes didn’t know that he had come back.
Not even the unknown monster seemed to notice his presence, allowing Noa to swiftly control the pace.
Each kill netted him a level.
Until one specific system message sounded like pleasant music in his head.
[ Your Agility Attribute is 50 ]
[ You have reached Evolved limits ]
[ Going beyond is impossible ]
[ Please choose a different attribute ]
Just like that, Noa maxed out yet another attribute, nearing the absolute limits of Evolved capabilities.
Before he chose the next stat to focus on, slimes started scattering like rats—their unexplainable fear predicting something just as bizarre.
The same abomination that played mind tricks on Noa stood above the tower.
