God-Tier Fishing System-Chapter 709
"However, the last person from the Moonfall Clan who was this confident has already turned to ash."
"I believe you should recognize these?"
Two tokens appeared in front of Ethan as he finished speaking. The identity tokens looted from Werner and Erna.
Seeing the tokens, Lucien’s gaze sharpened instantly.
He wasn’t alone. Every member of the Moonfall Clan revealed expressions of utter bewilderment, then absolute burning hatred flooded their faces.
One token was the insignia of a Moonfall Clan Elder. The other was the insignia of a top-tier Shadow Guard. This peak Upper Supreme who had suddenly appeared was the murderer who killed their Seventh Elder, Werner, and the shadow guard, Erna.
"Clan Head. That is Seventh Elder’s token." Wilford pointed at Ethan, the first to speak.
"That kid is the Star of Calamity the High Priestess spoke of. He’s the one who killed Seventh Elder and Erna."
"I didn’t expect him to arrive so soon. But this is excellent."
Glacien clenched his fists and laughed heartily, his expression savage.
"Lucien, I leave this person to you."
"Sever his limbs, cripple his cultivation, and bring him back to the clan. I will make him suffer the agony of ten thousand insects devouring his heart," Glacien ordered.
"Understood."
Lucien stared darkly at Ethan. "Kid, I truly didn’t expect you to be my Moonfall Clan’s Star of Calamity."
"A mere Upper Supreme like you doesn’t have the capability."
"Call out the person backing you. If you wait too long, you won’t get another chance." His expression was icy. The killing intent in his eyes practically overflowed.
"Is there any possibility that those two from your Moonfall Clan were actually killed by me, a mere Upper Supreme?" Ethan’s lips curled slightly, a playful smile on his face.
"Trash, such shameless boasting."
"Today, I will show you what a true expert is. You will regret offending my Moonfall Clan."
Lucien snorted coldly. His terrifying aura skyrocketed to the limit.
Icy divine power permeated the air and condensed into a massive Ice Dragon spiritual body behind his back.
Roar.
The Ice Dragon’s blood-red eyes locked onto Ethan. It opened its colossal maw and roared furiously. A terrifying breath of frost surged outward. Wherever it passed, the air froze solid. The momentum felt as if it could freeze the entire world.
"I’ll regret offending your Moonfall Clan?"
"You are not qualified to say such words."
Ethan fully unleashed the Celestial Jade Physique Scripture as Lucien charged. Star power rapidly circulated within him, divine power pushed to the absolute limit.
A tyrannical aura shot straight into the clouds, completely matching Lucien’s.
Cyan lightning materialized and danced wildly like frenzied serpents around Ethan, illuminating half the night sky.
Though only at the peak of the Upper Supreme realm, the intensity of his aura and the strength of his divine power were not the slightest bit weaker than a Perfect Supreme’s.
His divine power was scorchingly hot, vaporizing the Ice Dragon’s freezing breath into steam. The killing intent rushing from Lucien melted away the moment it entered a thirty-foot radius around Ethan.
Before the two even truly exchanged blows, the shockwaves from their auras had already destroyed the rolling hills and forests below, trees toppled, ice and snow melted, deep ravines split the trembling earth.
Everyone watching was utterly shocked.
Originally, all of them believed the Riverborn Clan was doomed. No one expected top-tier experts to appear one after another.
First the young man with two Perfect Supremes. Then the peerlessly beautiful woman, also a Perfect Supreme, and now this young man.
A peak Upper Supreme. Anywhere else he could establish a sect and rule as a local king. But in the White North Ice Field, compared to the Ancient Clans, it was somewhat insufficient.
What was truly unbelievable was that his imposing aura wasn’t losing out in the slightest. He vaguely showed the capacity to contend head-on with a Perfect Supreme.
This was their first time seeing someone capable of fighting across two major realms. Even Lucien, hailed as a monstrous talent rarely seen in a ten thousand years, could not compare to a Perfect Supreme back when he was at the peak Upper Supreme realm.
"Quick, fall back further," someone shouted.
The onlookers retreated once more to avoid collateral damage.
Watching from afar, the Silvermere Clan’s Great Elder wore a grave expression, eyes filled with shock.
He had roamed the world his entire life, yet this was his first time seeing someone so ferociously powerful. This performance was even more monstrous than Lucien.
"Great Elder, what is this guy’s background?"
"An Upper Supreme actually possesses such a terrifying aura, and he isn’t the least bit afraid of the Moonfall Clan’s Holy Son," the woman beside him asked.
"I have no idea either."
"But this man possesses strength sufficient to rival a Perfect Supreme. That means the Riverborn Clan’s side now effectively has three more Perfect Supremes. With this, the Riverborn Clan should survive this calamity."
"The Riverborn Clan escaping disaster is a good thing for all factions in the White North Ice Field," the woman let out a long sigh of relief.
"Exactly, fate dictates the Riverborn Clan should not perish."
"That woman’s background is also not small."
"The golden light on her body should be the Power of Destiny. To have such terrifying destiny reinforcing her, she is likely from the Great Verdant Lantern Empire’s Imperial Family." The Great Elder looked toward Liora, his tone solemn.
"Someone from the Great Verdant Lantern Imperial Family? What are they doing in the White North Ice Field?" the woman asked.
"The window for the Demon Caverns is approaching. They are likely here for the treasures within."
"There should only be one woman from that family with such powerful talent and strength. The Eldest Princess of the Great Verdant Lantern, Princess Liora."
"Recently, there have been rumors that the Great Verdant Emperor intends to pass the throne to her. If she truly inherits it, she will become the first Empress since the founding of the Great Verdant."
"Truly a woman who does not concede to men," the Silvermere Clan’s Great Elder praised.
"It’s starting," the woman reminded him.
The Great Elder looked up. High in the night sky, Ethan and Lucien clashed.
Boom.
With a muffled explosion, the world changed color.
