Chapter 86: Chapter 86: Holding the Back of Her Head and Kissing Her

"Give them back to her?" The man stood up, walked in front of Natalie Morgan, and stared down at her. "What do you think company documents are? Toys for your amusement?"

She kept backing away until the small of her back pressed against his massive desk. "Mr. Grant, you really have a talent for twisting people’s words."

He scoffed.

He had such captivating, amorous eyes, yet when they fell on her, their coldness sent a chill straight to her soul.

He grabbed her by the waist and leaned in to kiss her.

She dodged him.

His lips brushed against her earlobe, landing in her hair instead.

He didn’t press the issue. Instead, he turned and took his jacket from the coat rack. "I’ve invited some renowned figures from the art world today. You’re an expert in the field, so you’ll accompany me."

"Is that all?"

He arched a brow. "There are still some minor details in the collaboration with Byron Quincy that need to be hammered out. Things will go more smoothly if you’re there."

’Hah.’

’He was only making her go because Byron Quincy would be there.’

’Theodore Grant always exploited people to their absolute limit.’

’And she, of course, was no exception.’

Natalie Morgan felt a wave of revulsion. "It’s still working hours."

"Accompanying me is part of your job." He gave her no chance to refuse, pressing the intercom button on his desk. "Noelle Bell, bring the revised supplementary contract and wait for me in the garage."

Natalie Morgan couldn’t refuse.

She followed Theodore Grant downstairs.

In the car, they sat on opposite sides of the backseat.

He glanced at her several times. Perhaps sensing his overly bold gaze, she turned her face slightly away.

PING.

Natalie Morgan’s phone chimed.

She pulled out her phone. Just as she unlocked the screen, before the message could fully display, Theodore Grant snatched it from her grasp.

It was a message from Felix Finch.

It read: *Has Theodore been giving you a hard time?*

The message sent Theodore into a rage. He immediately threw the phone.

"You..." Natalie Morgan bent down to pick up the phone, but he grabbed her by the nape of the neck and pulled her in front of him.

He snatched the phone from her hand again, forced her into a kiss by holding the back of her head, and snapped a photo with a CLICK.

Then, he shoved her roughly aside and sent the photo to Felix Finch.

Natalie Morgan got her phone back and tried to retract the message, but it was too late.

"You’re insane."

"And he’s not? I think you’re both out of your goddamn minds! Am I dead to you?!" Theodore roared.

She was too furious to even respond.

Just then, Noelle Bell opened the car door and slid into the passenger seat. "Mr. Grant, are we leaving now?"

"No, we’re going to spend the night in the garage." 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Secretary Bell was speechless.

’Did Natalie Morgan provoke him again?’ she wondered.

The drive took an hour and a half.

They arrived at a beachside resort villa, a picturesque scene of blue sea, azure sky, and flowing white canopies.

A soft, romantic ambiance filled the air.

The venue had been chosen for one simple reason: it was exactly the kind of vibe these artistic types loved.

Some of the guests had already arrived.

Guests mingled and chatted animatedly, the air filled with laughter and the clinking of glasses.

Byron Quincy had arrived early.

Theodore Grant had told him Natalie Morgan would be coming, so he had postponed important work specifically to see her.

The relaxing environment made him feel at ease. He was dressed casually, which made him seem very approachable.

"Mr. Grant," Byron Quincy greeted politely.

Theodore Grant gave Natalie Morgan a push forward. "I brought Manager Morgan as you asked. Let’s hope we can get the contract settled this time."

"I’ll have a good talk with Natalie."

Noelle Bell handed him the supplementary contract. "Mr. Quincy, this is the addendum. If you need any revisions, just let Manager Morgan know. We have a printer here, and Mr. Grant also brought the company seal."

"You’ve really thought of everything."

"Well, we won’t disturb you and Manager Morgan, then." Noelle Bell walked to Theodore Grant’s side. "Mr. Grant, Mr. Lawson and Painter Sawyer are here. You should go say hello."

"Let’s go." The man put his hands in his pockets and strolled off leisurely.

Byron Quincy wasn’t in a hurry to look at the contract.

He poured a glass of red wine and started chatting with Natalie Morgan about the past.

She let his words go in one ear and out the other.

He was in high spirits and was slowly starting to get tipsy.

"Byron, maybe you should look at the contract," Natalie said, afraid that if he got too drunk to sign, Theodore Grant would make trouble for her again.

Byron Quincy took it and signed his name without even looking at the contents.

From a short distance away, Noelle Bell watched his fawning display and scoffed. ’If I’d known he was this pathetic,’ she thought, ’I would’ve added a few more clauses favorable to the Grant Group.’

After he signed, Byron Quincy handed the contract and the pen back to Natalie Morgan.

Just as her fingertips touched them, the pen slipped and fell to the floor.

She was about to bend down and pick it up, but Byron Quincy gently stopped her. "I’ll get it."

As he bent to pick up the pen, he noticed that Natalie Morgan’s shoelace had come undone.

He instinctively knelt to tie it for her.

Startled, Natalie Morgan tried to pull her foot back, but his large, strong hand held it in place. "Don’t move. Your shoelace is untied."

He half-knelt before her, his gesture both considerate and gentle, yet tinged with a careful tenderness.

Theodore’s gaze cut through the crowd, landing on the woman’s size-seven white sneakers.

Byron Quincy’s fingers were long and elegant, almost too beautiful—hands that seemed born for art.

Resting on her sneakers, they didn’t look out of place in the slightest; in fact, there was a certain harmonious beauty to the image.

A bitter wave of jealousy surged in Theodore Grant’s chest.

He raised his glass and downed the red wine in a single gulp.

Feeling this was inappropriate, Natalie Morgan quickly crouched down. "Byron, I can tie it myself."

"There."

He had already tied it into a neat bow.

"Byron, I’m going to give the contract to Mr. Grant. Just wait here for a moment."

"I’ll wait for you, then."

Natalie Morgan took the contract and went to find Theodore Grant.

When she couldn’t find him, she gave the contract to Noelle Bell instead.

The moment she turned, Theodore Grant grabbed her wrist and dragged her into the nearest restroom.

"What are you doing?"

Natalie Morgan tried to leave, but he gripped her by the waist, lifting her to sit on the counter.

The sleeves of his white shirt were rolled up to his elbows, and the top few buttons of his collar were undone.

His dark eyes smoldered with rage, his features hazed over with drunkenness.

He braced his hands on the counter on either side of her, boxing her in.

"Mrs. Grant, quite the social butterfly, I see."

"Weren’t you the one who told me to come here and be a social butterfly, Mr. Grant? If you’re going to mock me for it every time, then you might as well not have asked me to come."

He lowered his gaze and chuckled. The alcohol was starting to take effect, and he felt an uncomfortable stirring.

But Natalie Morgan just had to keep squirming.

"Don’t move. If you move again, I’ll..." His voice was low, saturated with desire. "...We’ve never done it in here, have we?"

His alcohol-scented breath washed over her ear. "I know you want this, too."

’This man is certifiably insane.’

’There were so many guests outside, and people were constantly coming in and out of the restroom.’

’And he actually wanted to do it... here?’

"I don’t want to."

He laughed as he lifted her down, turning her around so her front was against the counter. His hard, lean body pressed against her back, enveloping her in the scent of alcohol. She could feel how hard he was.

"Theodore Grant, can’t you calm down!"

"I can’t."

He panted heavily, grabbing her chin and forcing her to turn her face to meet his kiss.

One hand gripped her waist as he forcefully took her.

A draft slowly pushed the restroom door open, creating a thin crack.

And at that exact moment, Byron Quincy happened to look over...
